WHAM!
Like a yellow mini-car hot off it's trails, Battery Girl slammed back-first into the wall of a bank that had done nothing wrong. In fact, you might even say the bank was the real victim in all of this-- After all, only a few moments ago, the newest hot shot in town-- a literal villain by the name of "Master Hand",- came bustling through, and ransacked the place, stealing several bags of government-printed dollars and coins. He was a big guy, sure, standing around some 6 feet and 5 inches, but he had help carrying the load from his extra hands-- literally. Like a comic book villain come to life, the guy had some three extra sets of mechanical arms protruding outward from his upper back, giving him the... well, upper hand, in a fight between him and the Shocking Superheroine who just so happened to answer the call for help.
Boy, was she regretting it so far.
"I've gotta HAND it to you, Battery Girl, you sure know how to take a hit." He quipped, standing in the middle of the street, some 10 to 15 feet away from Battery Girl herself-- A testament to how far the last punch had knocked her. And yet, the thing that hurt the most for BG wasn't the wall, but the fact that the guy WOULD NOT STOP MAKING HAND AND ARM JOKES, and as a result she wasn't just getting beat on by a villain, but a super, SUPER corny one. On that note, BG got her wits about her and pulled herself forward from the metahuman-shaped indentation in the wall. Lightning crackled at her fingertips, just waiting to be unleashed, but she had to actually REACH the guy, first.
"Oh, give it up already! The 'long ARM of the law' just can't quite match up with the Master Hand!" He proudly proclaimed, before gesturing towards her with his right hand; On command, two of the three pair of his extending arms shot forth at Battery Girl. Try though she did to avoid them in the short notice, Master Hand was able to catch her by both wrists and ankles almost effortlessly, and hoist her into the air. "And now look at you. You're, dare I say, dis-ARMED." Oh, how Battery Girl wanted to shut the guy up, but as exhausted as she was, with only a single bar of light left in her battery gauge, she couldn't afford to waste the energy.
"Now then, what will I do with you? Maybe I'll tie you up onto a nice little set of railroad tracks. Or, how about I dangle you upside down from a pit of boiling water, and see what sort of secrets you--" Master Hand began, only to be cut off. Sorta.
"Hrrrrrrraaaaaaaagh!!!" With all the force she could muster, BG focused every last bit of energy she could manage outward-- From her... stomach, or wherever it usually was, and outward through her entire body. It was a last-ditch effort, and beyond dangerous, but she was 600% done with Cornbal McHam's ranting, and needed to do SOMETHING to stop him. The result caught both of them off-guard; Electricity poured outward from Battery Girl like so many tendrils of light, finally free of a prison cell. It was a discharge-- A planned one, but it still hurt like nothing she could have ever imagined (Hence the real reason for the screaming) and tore through her yellow suit, destroying her energy gauge, but boy did it have an effect; The handyman's arms, after all, were made of metal, and they conducted the brunt of the electrical force.
It didn't take much more than a second or two for each arm-- even the two not holding BG-- two explode from the sheer output of power coming off of the girl, and Master Hand himself took a nice shocking as well, though not a lethal one. Stray rays of electricity ran off the side of the bank behind Battery Girl and set fire to the grass around her, but when it was all said and done, she fell to the ground, almost in too much pain to move. Not that there was a need to, with Master Hand himself clearly incapacitated.
The day was, more or less, saved.
