It was not common to see a Titan alone in the park, even for a leisurely stroll. They had a beautiful island that provided enough walking space and scenery to escape into one's thoughts if that was required. Starfire herself had taken up the hobby of gardening, and lovingly tended to her flowers when company was denied her or the fancy struck her. Her reason for being in the cities largest, most diverse park was because she was volunteering. It was a campaign to promote 'being green', such as not littering and respecting nature by not cutting it down. She was a hero, so PSA work was within her line of duty as a role model and responsible citizen. They had her posing around the park, and with children, and after a few hours of that they were to be edited and made into posters and bus stop ads.
She delighted in working with the children. They played around in the park a bit, where Starfire swung the children (carefully!) on the tire swing and they took turns hanging off her arms. Some parents even let her fly them to the top of the slide, though no farther. She had been the highlight of the morning, and with the sun shining uninhabited by any clouds, she had the energy to keep up with the little tykes. Good things did come to an end, and she had things to do back in the tower. Feeding Silkie, for instance, was a priority. Her poor bumgorf couldn't be kept starving!
Though, Starfire couldn't help but notice that one girl had been sitting at a bench for awhile. At a distance in the park, she had been a speck in the background. When she left, and unintentionally drew closer, she could see the girl's face.
She looked... sad... It was a kind of of lost look, like she didn't know where to go or be. Starfire was worried that she might even cry, and compassion urged her to come forward. Slowly, so as to not startle her, she came to step in front of the girl on the bench. "I am... sorry to bother you, but I noticed you sitting here alone, and you seem upset. Is there any way I can help you?"
