Oh, how the mighty had fallen.
Robin tried to ignore the jabs and the jeers as he walked through the crowd of criminals he had helped put in prison. Since being moved out of solitary it had been a struggle. He had to be careful not to let himself be cornered by the other convicts. Waller had made it pretty clear that his identity was on the line if he did anything stupid.
“Didn't think we'd see you wearing orange again so soon, Bird Boy.” Gizmo jabbed as Robin was led past him into the heavily guarded area that the criminals were allowed to exercise in. The Boy Wonder stiffened slightly, trying to remember that he needed to let the insults just roll off, and continued on his way. There were precious few times the inmates were given time to move around. In a regular prison they didn't have to worry about the convicts punching through walls with superstrength, or flying away. This meant the prison yard here was indoors. Robin, ever the early bird, missed the sunshine.
The vast majority of the convicts were wearing containment devices. Because Robin was human simply locking him behind locked doors was enough. Besides, there was no way the kid was going anywhere. Not with the amount of blackmail Waller already had on him. But he was still wearing the stupid orange uniform, and his normally spiky hair dropped from precious lack of hair gel.
“Hey, kid, didn't anybody tell you that recess is over?” the Titan turned, narrowing masked eyes at the familiar voice. Great. It was Johnny Rancid. The obnoxious older male gestured rudely. “You couldn't handle me on the road. This is my turf.”
"That certainly explains why you're still in jail.” Robin replied before he thought.
There wasn't anything Robin really could have done about the punch aimed for him. It hit him in the shoulder, knocking his slim frame forwards as he twirled around to face his attacker. To his credit, the Boy Wonder didn't actually hit back, he moved out of the way leaping agilely up in a flip as the older teen attacked him. Despite his offensive moves, though, the guards were still quick to react
The loud noise startled Robin first, followed by being slammed into the ground by at least two guards. The boy was stunned. His masked eyes widened as he struggled to breathe again and rough hands pulled him to his feet without protest.
