Guild Rules

[1] RESPECT: Respect the other players, guests, and staff of this board. Use basic role play decorum, which means don't god mode or power play. Don't plagiarize from the wikis or steal from other players. Follow the Proboards ToS requiring the content of our board to be PG-13. Because this is a sandbox you get a lot of freedom. Please use that freedom wisely. If you ever have a problem with another member please first PM them, and if it is not resolved please PM the staff.

[2] Registration: We require IC accounts. Please register a new account per character. We ask that the username be your character's alias or first name if they are a civilian with no alias. For example the person who plays Beast Boy would register as beastboy. This makes it easy to tag people.

[3] One-Strike Policy: You have zero chances to screw up. If you're caught power playing, god moding, or generally being a horrible person then the staff reserves the right to ban you. If you're following our first rule then this won't be an issue.


[4] Pass/Fail System: You only have one opportunity to submit your application for review. After we've been informed that your application is ready for review the admin team will let you know whether you have passed or failed. Don't worry, it's difficult to fail unless you have banned material within your application.


[5] BANNED LIST: In order to remain PG-13, as well as fair for everyone, we've got an extensive list of character themes and powers that are not allowed. We will also have a restricted list of attributes we have too much of and will change periodically. Please keep checking back. Please note that these restrictions do not apply to canons, though we may ask for powers to be toned down, or themes to be cut.

BANNED THEMES

• Rape, incest, and explicit sex

• Hard drugs

• Genocide

• Trafficking

• Torture


BANNED CHARACTERS

• Located on our canon list HERE


RESTRICTED

• Mind/Body Control - characters who alter the way other characters see things, act, ect.

• Precog and clairvoyance

• Wizards - characters who use spells and spellbooks.

• Teleportation

• Characters from Gotham

[6] Character Wipes: The staff reserves the right to wipe the canon list periodically to free up canons for new people instead of having activity checks. We will give a notice before the wipe, asking for character reservations, but if you don't reserve your character again you will lose it.

[6a] Canon Confiscation: In order to cut down on people sitting on canons the staff reserves the right to remove an inactive canon and give it to someone else without a wipe. This means that if you're interested in a canon, and the player has not been active recently, you can ask the staff if they will free up the canon again for play. Please note that we will not always say yes.


[6b] Competing Canons: Do you see a character available to play, but when you go into the apps you see someone is already applying for them? We have a First Accepted policy. Character reservations are only for the wipes. You cannot reserve a canon unless you have already been playing them. If you finish your app first, and completely, then you will be awarded the canon so don't let WIPs discourage you.
