PERSONALITY
“I can do whatever I want!”
The most important thing you need to know about Rose is that she is both a hard person to get to know and a hard person to like. She's the sort of person who doesn't like a stranger until they have proven themselves to her. It's hard to say, exactly, what will prove yourself to Rose since it varies from person to person and every situation in between. Rose's outlook on life is...complicated. While the girl does tend to have a rather negative world view she also has the tendency to live in the moment, which can make her both a fun and a dangerous person to be around. Intrinsically Rose is a selfish person. She does what she wants, when she wants it, and don't even bother trying to tell her otherwise. She's an arrogant young thing, with an ego the size of Texas. She does a really good job of hiding any insecurities she has and coming off as a gigantic ego-tripping fathead.
“I said- HANDS OFF!”
Rose and Superboy could start a club about Daddy issues and anger issues. It's not that Rose hates Slade because she very clearly attempts to emulate him all the time. She does, however, blame him for her mother's death and if there is anything Rose doesn't do it's forgiveness. Rose also has some anger issues. She's always had a short fuse but since the death of her mother and the less than warm welcome she received from her father, Rose has felt like she's angry all the time. And it's a destructive sort of anger that is constantly burning in her. If she's not careful, someday soon she's going to burn out.
”Bulk up as much as you want, I'll still take you down.”
Like her father, and his desired heir, Rose is obsessive in nature. Once she latches onto a concept, or a person, she will not let them go. She seems to convince herself that once “x” has been achieved then everything in her life will magically be made better. She tries to protect herself from her obsessive nature by not planning and by keeping people at a distance but this doesn't seem to stop her very well. After all, she changed herself in order to try and get her Father's love, and once she realizes that there is actually a possibility that her mother might have survived going off that cliff then she will focus all of her energy on finding her. Once Rose really puts her mind to something there is very little that can stop her. Rose is not, however, as strictly goal oriented as her father. She will listen to reason and responds very well to logic and empathy. Basically, if you can catch her attention and talk her out of it she'll probably stop. Probably.
“Save the sarcasm for someone you can intimidate.”
Rose has great people skills. Oh, and that was sarcasm. Hardyharhar. Anyway, anyway, Rose's maturity level is ridiculous. And by that I mean it's a miracle people even try to talk to her. She's a tester and likes to try to push limits as far as they will go to see how people will react to her. Rose loves to play games with others, but when the tables are turned on her, she may either become hostile or impressed. It honestly, depends on what they pull and who they are. Rose also loves to insult people and will often call people names such as: Wonder Whiner or Superskank. It's one of her less endearing qualities.
“Uch. Commence barfing.”
Immaturity is the name of Rose's game. Witty and brash, Rose thinks she is wittier than she actually is. Her sense of humor is childish at best and barbed at worse. Rose is known for making faces at people and telling vomit jokes. She is also known to say things that don't fit the situation, or that are incredibly colorful but not in a swearing sort of way, more in an...odd sort of way.
“Fortunately, the guards and scientists are all dead.”
There are some people that are bleeding hearts. They are sympathetic to all causes and care deeply about their fellow man. Let's get this straight, right here, right now, Rose is not one of those people. She tries not to care too much about other people and while she doesn't always succeed (Rose is actually more of a softie than she likes to show, but don't push your luck) she usually manages to sound appropriately heartless. Rose also has the fabulous tendency to sound very morbid as well.
“Finally. Not nothing. Better be real.”
Speaking of real things, emotions. Those are something Rose doesn't do either. Or rather, perhaps I should explain it better. Rose doesn't like to explain her emotions or the reasons she does things. In fact, she doesn't like to think about them. Rose is very guarded individual. She’ll mostly keep people at arms length, usually just to protect herself from people leaving again. When she does let someone get through most of her barriers, she never fully lets them through and always ends up retaining at least some part of herself. Telling who Rose has deeper feelings for can be hard at times. She herself refuses to think about it. Thinking herself incapable of receiving love. Or being loved. For Rose, she can rail against it all she wants and play the loner, but deep down she wants to be part of something – be it a family, a team, a relationship.
"I should have stayed with you. I should have protected you. I’m your sister."
Rose is very protective of those she deems family. If anyone tries to harm them and she finds out about it she’ll most likely try to get even. But, only if she’s sure she can hide her true reasoning behind it. If she is actually there, witnessing someone hurt her family, however, she is far more likely to not think and simply jump into the fray. Excuses can be made later...as can sudden disappearances.
POWERS/SKILLS
Growing Super Soldier
So, she's a little bit faster and more agile than your average girl. It's no big deal. She's also stronger and more resilient. She's not as strong as her father who has his strength magnified by five. Hers is probably magnified by about two (because who does math?), which puts her on par with a certain Boy Wonder.
Advanced Martial Arts Skill
Rose can kick your butt. With style! Her mother trained the girl in a number of asian martial arts, mostly taikwando, judo and karate, as well as kendo which was her favorite. She made it up to red belt before her mother died. Rose was also forced, against her will after about the age of seven, to do dance and gymnastics which furthered the grace of her movements. Her mother abhorred the more “base” fighting styles displayed on the streets and so young Rose would go out and watch street fighting to see what she could learn from that. Beyond smashing people in the face with beer bottles being a good idea, she didn't get much out of it. The majority of her fighting style comes from the asian influence of her mother, since she was the one who had her trained to defend herself, and, since taking the serum Rose has become a lot more graceful and dangerous than she ever was in kiddy karate.
Skilled Swordsman
She can kill you. With a sword. It probably hurts.

WEAKNESSES
“We weren't all born with super genes. Some of us have to work to stay in shape.”
Despite having been turned, essentially, into a growing super soldier Rose still has to work hard to stay in shape. Because she is so young the serum traits can only do so much and she has to maintain good exercise and eating habits or else her hormones will go insane...more insane. Rose is also merely human, although a genetically advanced human. Even with the serum traits she is still incredibly fragile compared to her brute of a father, or even monsters such as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and while she can take a beating longer than any other normal human girl her height and weight she is still fairly easily taken down once her luck (and Rose pretty much runs on luck) takes a turn for the worst.
“I'm fine.”
Rose is the sort of person who likes to shrug off injuries like they're no big deal and will ignore a broken rib like it's a bruise. While this reflects mostly her own immaturity and inexperience it is also a super dangerous thing for her to do. Often times what she ends up doing is making injuries worse by not having them dealt with in a proper amount of time. So, unless someone actually forces her to get treated she usually won't until the point where she can barely move and that compound fracture that could have managed with just a cast is going to need surgery.
“That sounds an awful lot like teamwork.”
Rose does not work in teams. Ever. She has never learned how to fight alongside someone and she was never given the reason to. When she was learning how to fight everything was one on one and Rose has always had a me against the world mentality. She doesn't do teams, and when she's forced to fight with someone she usually ends up tripping them up or they end up tripping her up and then there is rage and anger and it's just not a pretty picture. Whenever she is on a team she is at a severe disadvantage and is better off either not fighting, or taking out her own teammates and then fighting. Luckily, she doesn't actually have a team to worry about most of the time.
“What’s a girl gotta do to get in a proper brawl around here?”
Rose loves to go looking for trouble. She's the sort of person who needs a good fight in order to feel like she's alive. So, that's what she does. She goes up to people and pisses them off for no real reason to start a fight. Because Rose is an idiot she tends to pick the wrong people to brawl with, and, undoubtedly, instead of picking on a bunch of normal humans she could easily take, she ends up egging on a bunch of metahumans who have no problem teaching the kid a lesson. Rose also loves to pick fights for the dumbest reasons and will accidentally wear herself out before the real brawl can begin. She ran out of fingers long ago ticking off the number of times she was stumbling home from a fight when the capes found her.
“Nobody likes a show-off.”
Except, ironically, Rose is a total show off. She loves to flaunt her own abilities and that's probably one of the reasons she loves to start fights so much. Ravager will go out of her way to show off and as anyone who has tried to show off knows, showing off can be a dangerous thing.
“Sometimes to-do lists can be overrated.”
Rose doesn't plan. Ever. Or if she manages something vaguely similar to a plan it's more along the lines of “Find this, something something, KICK BUTT, and then sleep” she loves to live life on the fly and also not planning means she won't put her heart and soul into something that won't work. It's sort of a defense mechanism. She also doesn't tend to think before she acts. Because of this she has the tendency to look incredibly stupid as if her terrible grammar doesn't already do that for her. It's not that she's dumb as a bag of rocks, it's just that she's impulsive. But, she'd probably be more likely to agree with you that she's an idiot the next time she finds herself cornered because she wasn't thinking while she fought. Because she likes to shut off the logical part of her brain while she's fighting and survive off her instincts alone Rose is pretty much notorious for being trapped or cornered. And then she rages. Ineffectually.
“Crazy?”
We already know Ravager is crazy. She does things that make no sense and is about as impulsive as a hormonal teenager can get. Worse, however, is that Rose Wilson has the horrible tendency to go wildly out of control, pretty much manic, when she is not in full control of her body. Whether she is under the influence of drugs (adrenaline is addictive to her), serums, or various forms of mind control, Rose can be even more unpredictable and terrifying then she normally is. To the point where she cannot control her own actions.
HISTORY
Slade Wilson - the mercenary known as Deathstroke, The Terminator and later simply as Slade - took a search-and-rescue mission under contract probably telly Addie and the kids he was going to "Africa." Again. During the mission Slade met Lillian "Sweet-Lilli" Worth, an Oriental clan princess whose life fell in ruins after her kingdom was destroyed by a war in the Far East. It was Slade's mission to bring Lilli from war-torn Cambodia to Thailand, where she would be able to live in relative freedom.
The mission was successful. During the journey, Slade and Lillian became really close (near death experiences, y'know?). Slade and Lillian remained in contact, embarking an an on/off love affair whenever their paths crossed. Lillian even followed Slade to America so that they could stay in contact. During one of their trysts, Slade knocked up Lillian, who later gave birth to Rose Worth. Lillian kept Rose a secret from Slade, rationalizing it was in the child's best interest to do so. Lillian eventually settled outside New York City, where she established a brothel and lived in luxury. Despite the environment, brothels aren't usually considered very child-friendly, Rose was raised with other children her age and was schooled by private tutors. She not only received a "happy" childhood, but was also taught how to defend herself by her incredibly strict mother and the teachers she found for Rose.
When Rose was ten Deathstroke's half-brother Wade DeFarge, using the name Ravager, killed Deathstroke's friends and family, or tried to. He wasn't able to find Adeline where she was hiding with her boys but Wade did manage to somehow find Lilli and put two and two together that the little girl with her was probably Slade's daughter. DeFarge captured Rose, and (after being super obnoxious and waxing existential about how she didn't know what was going to happen) told her that Deathstroke was her father. Wintergreen and Worth launched a rescue attempt, because Slade couldn't be bothered, apparently, but Worth was presumed dead after she drove a jeep off a cliff while trying to run over DeFarge. Wintergreen successfully rescued Rose and escaped.
Losing her Mother was a pivotal moment in Rose's life and she never really recovered from it. Lilli Worth was Rose's rock. She was the one constant thing in her daughter's life and the only person that Rose had ever truly allowed herself to become close with. With her Mother gone, Rose was lost and unsure with what to do with her life. She tried to turn to her Father but he was as distant as ever and so it was William Wintergreen instead who found her a place to stay. She asked Will, once, why her Father hated her so much and what she had done wrong. Will told her that Slade didn't hate her but gave no explanation on anything. Rose decided it was because she wasn't good enough. She vowed to become better.
Her vow went on hold as Rose got another lease on a normal life a few months later when Wintergreen set her up with a new family. She was adopted by the Madison family and lived a happy, normal life with them in Chicago. She was moody and ill adjusted at first, but Mrs. Madison was a sweet and understanding woman who really took the time to get to know Rose. Mr. Madison was just as kind and Rose felt like she had a real family for once. She only got to keep them for eighteen months. And little did she know it was her own Father plotting against her. He had hired an expert marksman to kill the Madisons.
They were about to watch Cinderella and Mrs. Madison was telling her about how she didn't have to worry about the mean kids at school when suddenly something red splattered across Rose's face. To her horror, she looked up to see her new adopted Mother's eyes roll into the back of her head as she fell to the ground a bright red spot in the middle of her forehead. Rose screamed and turned towards her adopted father when she heard another gunshot go off. He slumped, dead, onto the couch, a bullet through the heart. No. Horrified, and now scared for her own life Rose tore out of the house and ran. She didn't know how long she ran but by the time she had worked up the nerve to pack up her stuff and call the police just before slipping out the bodies of her adopted parents were cold.
Rose swore revenge for the Madison's death and tracked the killer all the way to Jump City. Guess who else she found in Jump City? Daddy Dearest. With his encouragement she figured out who the killer was and decided that the best way to avenger her fallen adopted family was to kill them. She just didn't know what she was doing or if she would have the strength for it. Slade had a solution for her, though. Slade always has a solution. His solution was the same serum that had made him a super soldier. In retrospect using super soldier serum on a growing girl was probably not the brightest idea. Rose went completely and utterly manic. She was beyond Slade's control and while she killed the man who had murdered her family she also killed anyone else that got in her path. She even attacked her own father, though he was able to restrain her.
As soon as the effects of the serum that had caused her manicness wore off, Rose realized what she had done and, horrified, confused and more than a little angry she ran off. Rose didn't make it very far, mostly just begging Wintergreen to get her away from her Father. He agreed to help her, and set her up at a private school with dormitories and then warned Slade off from harming his daughter (even accidentally) farther.
The only good thing about this whole escapade was that she learned she had a half-brother, Joey, who she summarily stalked for a few weeks after being established at the new school. Ironically, Rose the I-fear-nothing ragtag little girl could not bring herself to actually confront her brother and say hello to him. So, it was mostly just reading up on his files and staring through his windows at night like a creeper. She, oddly enough, began to care for Joey and decided that even though they couldn't be a real family she would at least look out for him whenever she had the chance.
But, just like Rose couldn't stay away from Joey, she couldn't stay away from Slade or Wintergreen either. What the girl wanted most was a family and she tried her hardest to keep the sad smidgen of one she had. She tried to avoid actually running into Slade as much as she could, but she kept in constant contact with Wintergreen and got as many updates on her father as possible. Watching him take Robin and Terra for his apprentices was painful for Rose, mostly because they were able to get close to Slade (or at least, Rose saw it that way).
And then there was the day that Terra killed Slade.
Rose was devastated. She was happy Wintergreen had made it out alive, since that man was more of a father to her than her own father, but, still, there is a connection between fathers and daughters that is not so easily forgotten. With the help of Wintergreen she catalogued as much of her father's stuff as she could. His robots were taken back by Chang (Rose was not happy about that) but Rose and Will were able to keep just about everything else. Rose then decided that she was going to take up her father's legacy and destroy the Titans who had dared to take more of her family away from her. She got started on a costume and started training even harder and pouring over her Father's files on the Titans. Wintergreen did not approve, at all, and insisted she keep up with her schoolwork and so she had to sneak her villainous intentions in between her homework and classes. Sports helped her keep in shape and her sudden interest in sewing classes and robotics were faaaaaaar from innocent.
And then it turned out Slade wasn't dead. Wintergreen had kept this from her at first, during the whole Raven end of the world craziness, figuring that since Slade wasn't technically alive and there to stay it was best not to inform Rose. He made the right decision. She spent the time finishing her costume, enhancing her fighting skills and studying up on the Titans. By the end of the summer she felt she was ready to take down those jerk-wads who had taken two family members from her.
Of course, she'd be ready just as soon as the Brotherhood of Evil decided to strike and draw the Titans away from Jump City. Frustrated, and impatient Rose decided to test out her new costume and abilities by stealing the things in her Father's files to hopefully finish some of his old projects. Now that she's been field tested she's ready to take down the Titans, best of all: she's found help.
