High density polarized titanium. That was one long name for a material for a cape. If it was so high-density, how was it flexible? Perhaps the metal was woven into the fabric. It was an interesting thought, and one Twitch would have to look into. Having a bulletproof coat would be a huge help. He couldn't exactly dodge bullets all the time, and most people warranted a little less force than he applied when he was doing that. Then again, most people who shot at him sucked at aiming anyway.
Twitch was pulled out of his thoughts by Robin asking if he ever considered working on a team. The vigilante smiled broadly; exactly the words he had wanted to hear. "Of course. There's not much good I can do just wandering the streets aimlessly between shifts. The city's pretty big, after all." He caught a sound on the edge of his hearing and turned his head towards it, but it was just a flock of pigeons that had taken wing around the corner. Returning his attention to the Titan leader, he nodded. "Is that an invitation?"
There wasn't much for Kaie to do but watch as the two of them talked. They seemed to be hitting it off pretty well. Kaie's inner shipper was conflicted about this. On the one hand they would make a great couple, on the other hand Robin and Starfire were so cute together and were pretty much meant to be. It was hard sometimes, being a shipper.
The giant's grin got even bigger as they kept talking. It seemed like Twitch was practically guaranteed a spot. Kaie was watching the Titans grow, and better yet she had helped it happen. She started to wonder if they gave bonuses or prizes for recruitment. Kaie quickly decided that was unlikely, it seemed like more of a pyramid scheme thing than something a group of superheroes would do.
Robin smile broadened in response to Twitch's. The kid was definitely a promising prospect. “It just might be,” the young leader responded to the boy with the blue hair asking if he was inviting him to join the Titans. “Are you busy? Why don't you swing by the tower and meet the team?” he offered. “I'd like to see what you can do for myself.”
His attention then turned towards Kaie. “Are you on patrol?” he asked glancing first at the sky and then around them with a frown. “Where's your partner?” months ago Robin had put an order into affect that none of the Titans were to patrol by themselves. It wasn't exactly a hard and fast rule. The Titan's leader broke it all the time. However, he had a tendency to be pretty harsh on anyone else he caught patrolling alone. Mostly because he was a hypocrite.
Twitch nodded to Robin's suggestion. Meeting the team was a good place to start. "I'll catch a bus in a bit." He wiped a bit of sweat from his brow; the coat he was wearing wasn't exactly the most breathable fabric. He knew that when he got it, and he could deal with it for a while yet. That didn't make it any more comfortable. He tried to walk close to the buildings and chuckled at Robin's question to Rumble. "We've been walking together for a while, and she hasn't seen more action than picking up a disarmed robber. I think the solo walk can slide this once, right?"
Kaie's smile faltered when Robin turned his attention to her. "I um, kinda dinna bring one this time. Sorry." It was a rookie mistake, she knew. She was still getting used to the whole superhero thing, let alone the team dynamic. It took some time to adjust.
Ever the hero, Twitch jumped to her defense. Rumble relaxed a bit as the hyperkinetic lent her a hand. "Yeah, I won' do it again. Jus was thinkin o' who ta team up with. Been talkin to Vincent, he were thinkin of finding a super name and joinin up. What if I went along wi him? We get along aright, I could help him adjust and stuff." Of course Kaie had some alternate motives, but she wasn't planning on sharing them with Robin just yet. He didn't really need to know about her crush on the magical boy.
Robin gave Twitch an odd look. There wasn't a bus that went out to the Tower. However, he nodded all the same before frowning between the two rookies, one obviously greener than the other. His masked gaze turned towards Kaie. “Don't do it again,” he warned her. “If you can't find a partner, contact me. I don't want you running into serious trouble without someone to have your back.” the boy hid (not very well) his worry for the giantess under a veil of disapproval.
“Vincent has never brought up his interest in joining with me, or trained for this sort of thing, so you and he cannot go on patrols alone until he takes the matter up with me first,” Robin added. He was somewhat surprised to hear this information from someone who wasn't Vincent but it wasn't as though they crossed paths terribly often. Robin was very, very busy.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
