Sterling's brow furrowed for a moment before he remembered something. Healing magic. He had this. He didn't need to recover naturally from the bump on the head. He thought for a moment, and since Wakka seemed to be confusing Kaie, he motioned for them to stop. Or tried to. They kept going, until Wakka asked him what else he could do.
"I know a few other spells. Nothing much I can cast reliably yet, but if you tow step back about five feet, I'ma cast a healing spell to take care of the bump on my head. If it backfires....everyone in a five foot radius will get REALLY hyper."
And he meant hyper. Like a ferret hopped up on meth hyper. Healing magic when you weren't hurt had to have some effect, and usually it led to a sense of euphoria and a rush of energy. It was a weird feeling, Sterling having accidentally healed himself once when trying to heal a kid's broken arm. He had healed the kid too, but he had ended up on a sugar rush sort of trip, eating every bit of candy he could get a hold of and then claiming to be the great Cornholio on top of someone's couch.
When they backed off, he would hold out one hand and chant his healing Mantra. Or rather intone the one word.
"Lefna."
A green, swirling ball of energy appeared in his hand, which he then pressed to his chest. It vanished, and there was a small shock wave around him, but hopefully they had stepped back far enough to not be affected. He felt the knot in his head relieve itself, the swelling going down and everything going back to normal. God, getting hurt in reverse felt weird.
"Whelp, my head feels a lot better now. I hope I didn't catch you guys in that."
