I WATCH HOW THE MOON SITS
in the sky on a dark night, shining with the light from the sun, but the sun doesn't give the light to the moon assuming the moon's gonna owe it one.
Requesting Silv for Titan status? Is this how that works?
Twitch wasn't kidding when he'd told Robin he'd catch a bus. There might not have been one that stopped at the tower, but several passed near the island. Twitch had jumped down from a low building onto one of these buses, waited til he got close, then casually hopped onto a lightpost and slid down, earning a couple odd looks from what he assumed were tourists unused to the young superheroes that frequented the streets. Following that, he'd crossed over to the island that housed the Tower, then realized he had no idea how to get in, nor any communicator to ask for help.
Resigned to a possibly long wait, he Twitch walked around the island, finding an obstacle course set up parallel to a baseball turret. At least, he hoped those were baseballs. Either way, it was something to do, and the sound the turret made might draw some attention. He removed the coat and holster holding his blank pistol, then hung them both on an outlying peg on the side of the starting platform that he assumed was for that purpose. The new Titan elected to keep his red-and-silver mask on, since it didn't impair him at all. Twitch ascended the steps and hit the switch to start the course.
It was as if heaven had descended to Earth in the eyes of the eager hyperkinetic.
The baseball turret awoke from its slumber and started searching the course, platforms shifted in irregular patterns, tightropes connected to those platforms moved with them, walls periodically shifted position, and all of it presented a fine challenge while being fired at by baseballs. The blue-haired hero rolled his shoulders back and rushed out onto the first tightrope, ducking low past the first baseball fired...
and taking the second square to the chin.
He was knocked off the rope, something that shocked him more than the baseball. That was some damn good shooting for a robot. He ascended the platform again and ran across the rope faster, jumping onto the next platform and leaning back just in time to see another ball fly past his face. The hyperkinetic didn't stop, rushing forward through the course, up and down platforms and ropes, until a wall decided that it would rather move in front of his jump and got him nailed with two more baseballs. He stood up off the ground, picked one of the balls up, and offhandedly tossed it so that it hit the switch to turn off the course. He muttered to himself; "That's gonna bruise...", then turned to see someone approaching. Hopefully they hadn't seen him make an idiot of himself.
