Terra breathed out a sigh of relief as she glanced one final time to make sure Slade wasn't following her. She left on a pretty dominant note in their little conversation just now and she was a bit worried he was going to insist she stick around for a bit before he mind controlled her or something. By the looks of it though, he'd decided to let well-enough alone and she was thankful for this. One was usually better off NOT getting at ends with the biggest villain in Jump City save for Trigon. Moving out of the Industrial District, Terra now found herself at the Docks with plenty of warehouses to spend the night in. She didn't quite like the fishy smell, but it seemed everywhere in the Industrial District actually had content in it. Who would've guessed?
She found a rusted out little place decently far enough away from the water that looked comfortable as a warehouse could get, and stepped inside. She found a nice little cloth tarp wrapped around some rotten abandoned product of some kind and was happy to take it over the plastic tarps she usually found. She was about to settle down and sleep finally when it occurred to her to check the place first, after her little run-in with the... more-than interesting Sir Slade. What exactly was that thing's deal anyway? It couldn't have been a factory defect, it purposefully had a mustache welded onto it's face. But it looked just like Slade, so it had to have been made by someone who knew his blueprints. She supposed she'd never know.
After finding nothing hidden anywhere in the building, she breathed a sigh of relaxation and settled into her cloth tarp, enjoying what little warmth she could get from it. She tried at first to lull into sleep, but her thoughts were running wild. He didn't kill her, but Slade left her with a lot of thoughts. Her mind drifted to Geo-Force and the Titans. He'd mentioned working with them for a time looking for her of all things. They wanted to help people and do good and all, and she wanted that too, but with her powers how they were how could she help anyone? She'd be more likely to kill people than save them. She was firm with what she told Slade though. She would conquer her powers on her own. This wasn't anyone else's battle but hers... But it continuously pained her that it was hard to be alone...
She really wished she could get to sleep already.
