Jump City was an interesting place, it was practically a focal point of everything that made the Earth interesting. It was a center point for some of the best technologies on the planet, and numerous aliens, heroes, and other such criminals constantly gathered. Just about the only thing that couldn't be fully experienced in Jump City was culture, architecture, and geography. If one wanted to see the famous Mount Everest they needed to head to Everest, to see the Grand Canyon? Likewise! Add that in for ever famous building and such and you had the one limitation of staying in just one city, but hey Lumini had plenty of time, and before she went about exploring the entire planet, she wanted to get herself into the titans first. That was proving a bit difficult, mostly due to the fact that she had to jump, walk, or hail a cab to get to big events in the city. It meant that when she heard something was happening she always got there late. Now if she could hear of things right as they happened that would be another thing, but she didn't have a police scanner....yet. She didn't have one of those titan communicators...yet. So far she had only managed to help with one specific event and she hadn't even realized at first that it was a crime! She knew now, and had noted that information down into her memory very carefully. Supergirl had said she would put a good word in with the big wig titans for her help, but so far Lumini hadn't heard anything.
Now, patience was important, it had only been about four days, the Titans were undoubtedly busy with plenty of things to do, and Lumini hadn't exactly had a phone with which to be called, but still she was so eager! She just wanted to meet one of those big wig titans already! For now though, she focused, she had saved up a tidy sum from her construction job, and was currently in one of the big shops of Jump City. She was in...an electronics store. It was a fine place, a place full of radios and stereos, computers and MP3 players, and various bits and pieces of such. It was rather in depth, she had a feeling that the common human, who likely knew very little of this, wouldn't likely go to this place. It seemed a place for heavy 'tecchies' was that the right human term? It might be from a different alien culture, Lumini wasn't sure. Still at the moment she was just browsing. It was unlikely that anything here would compare to anything from Mechanica itself, but she could make some nifty gadgets, she was considering building her own car, or jet, or a car-jet! For that though, it needed a battery, various car-board/jet-board computers, and for that she needed...electronics! She was quite the sight too, a near seven foot tall, robotic woman moving through the aisles, examining chips, batteries, wiring, screens, and other random objects needed for computers or displays. She had unusually long arms, that curved all along rather than having a specific joint, and yet, despite clearly being a robot, her face had had enough care put into it for it to shift through a broad spectrum of emotions.
Oooh, now here was an interesting component, it almost compared to Mechanica tech!
