::Ian::
"An honour," Ian replied to Mani, taking her hand and placing a little kiss on the back of it, returning her smile with one of his own. Once he raised his head once more (after winking at the newly-introduced plantgirl in the green and gold), things happened a lot more quickly.
A crash preceded Ecto's voice from the tent, and Ian snickered at his proclamation (the tent was quite nice though, to be fair). Batgirl turned away from him without so much as a hello and Ian didn't even bother to scowl at her; some women just couldn't see past their one true love (As Robin walked down the dunes and into the tent) and Ian shouldn't have been judging to begin with.
Because Ink was the next to show up, sporting the most unique get-up he'd seen yet (which was saying something, as he was standing next to two of the most bizarre Atlanteans above water) and he couldn't quit staring. The Scot stopped beside him, Harvey waiting patiently as she unloaded the saddlebags and explained that she'd brought along lunch and drinks. Ian's face flushed ever so slightly as he scanned his blue eyes once up and down her little black dress. But then he got over it and took a step to the side, closer to Ink and her snacks.
"I like the vintage," he whispered conspiratorially, only halfway distracted by Starfire's appearance and rather prompt exit. He watched the alien throw the Team Leader into the ocean (all the while shaking his head in impressed shock), then looked back at Ink. "It fitss you well." (Whether he meant the style or the suit itself he left up for debate.)
And then Aqualad made an appearance, though it was a lot less dignified than the regal Titan usually made a point to be. He tore across the beach, tackling the SwampMonster in a bear hug (Or rather, a whale of a hug?) and then they were both in the water. Ian watched them for a moment, then turned back to grin at Ink, slightly amused by the antics of the Atlanteans.
"What do you sssay to a sswim with me later?" He asked with raised eyebrows, then smirked. "I promisse not to get your hair wet."
::Raven::
"I'd never just leave you here," a quiet and gravelly voice said, thoroughly amused by the position the archer found himself buried in. "Then again, I guess we can't all be as patient with you as I am."
She blinked down at him, a smile playing about her darkly-glossed lips as she sat cross-legged above his head. She was only a little bit out of place here on the beach. In the sun. While she'd deemed it a necessary evil to wear a bathing suit for this trip, she hadn't quite abandoned her normal look either. She wore black shorts and a black bikini top with silver script rolling across it, proclaiming her to be an "Angel." And over it all? A black hoodie, albeit a mess one made for the sand and surf. The entire ensemble screamed reluctant beach bunny.
And now, as she sat in the sand, one hand trailed beside her through the tiny little pebbles and the other held her head, elbow propped on one knee. "Let's just hope the waves don't get an attitude too early, hmmn?"
