I'm Merlin
Merlin | Male | Straight | Wizard
The moon is high up in the sky. Shining down upon the stone castle, Camelot. The home of Arthur Pendragon and his merry-men. Defended and the knight of Camelot. But on this night, all his subject was on the edge. Awaiting patiently for their King to return from battle. No one was more worry than Merlin himself.
In his room, high up in the tower, Merlin paced between back and forth. Peeking out his window in every minutes, clockwise. His King promise him he would return by noon and yet it has already became nightfall. His anxiety rises when his eyes started to twitch. It’s was a sign of omen. He remember learning from a foreign land, an old-folk tales. It says when a person eye twitches occasionally. It was a sign of bad luck. A sign of something unfortunate might come. Distracted. His mind was so wraparound of the safety and the return of his King. He fail to sense a demon, who had slip through his defences.
“Waiting for someone Merlin?”
He almost jumped out of his skin, like a frightened cat. When he heard the voice of Morgana Le Fay voice. The dark priestess, gifted in the arts of black magic and the half-sister of King Arthur Pendragon.
“Morgana, how dare you? How dare you set foot into Camelot?” He was quick to his feet and his hand started to lit up with white magic. He knew. If Morgana was here, that could only mean one thing and one thing only. Arthur, his King has fallen. “What have you done to him, Morgana? TELL ME! Or I swear.I’ll…I will” He was so angry, so angry, so willing to break his vow to not take a life, even it's Morgana Le Fay.
“Hold your tongue, Merlin…” Morgana pulled a crystal ball out of thin air. “One word and you shall never see your beloved King again…” She said. Showing to him, to Merlin where he beloved King was.
“NO!!! NO!!!”

Guinervere
Guinevere | Female | Straight | Queen of Camelot | Spot: Open
Taking a step at a time. Carefully carrying a tray of wine and food to Merlin. That fools hadn’t eaten anything for the whole day. Not since Arthur had leave, to stop yet another wicked plan against Camelot, by his one supposedly half-sister, Morgana. His mind was too preoccupied with safety return of Camelot King.
“NO!!! NO!!!”
She suddenly froze when he heard Merlin scream. By instinct, she threw everything aside and rush to his room.
“Merlin! Merlin!” She called out to him as she opens his door. She yelp when a shadowy figure flew past Merlin and then out to the window. All she could hear was a familiar laugh, an eerie laughter of Morgana. She rushed to Merlin side as he collapsed onto the floor.
“Merlin, what...what had happen?” She asked
“The king…” Merlin's body was shaking. Looking as pale as the moon. She had never seen him, so deafen. “Our King….” He repeated
“Merlin, what has happen to my husband?” She demanded
“Morgana has them…” She gasped when he spoke “She has them imprisoned in the Cave of Crystal….”
“No….” Guinevere was lost for words. Her beloved king, her beloved husband had fallen into Morgana hands. She started to break down and cry.
Merlin hesitated what to do, but ring his arm around the Queen to comfort her.
“Merlin, what shall ever we do?”
“I….I don’t know….” For once the world greatest wizard in his time was at loss of words.

She sat up in her bed in cold sweat. She just had an awful dream. A scary one, yet sad. It has been happening, bothering her almost every night. Giving her nothing but, restless sleep, exhausted and tired the next day. It started affecting he gradually that. She started falling asleep in class and even training. Some had to pitch her just to wake her up. Not even, a large amount of Starbucks Espresso could get her to stay awake. Checking her alarm clock, it was 5.40 am and by 6.00 am sharp, training session would start. She just growl at the thought of it. Considering her option. She ends up grabbing her sweat shirt and pulling it over her head. There no point returning to bed, but to drag herself to the common room, to brew some wee-earlier coffee and hopes it would carries her through the day. (Yeah, right?) Pouring fresh coffee beans into the coffee maker. She sat on the stool and lay her head on the island table. She closed her eyes and waits for the magical-coffee-maker to its works. Meanwhile, her head drifted off to the dream. Sad yet scary dream. “Why were they crying?” She asked herself. “Because they lost their King to…” She answer herself as her mind started slip into unconscious sleep. “Heroes of the future. I call thee, to aid us and save our King…” She started to mumble before letting out a light snore. “I beg thee to he…zZz…lp….us….” She started talking in her sleep. |
