Brock was no expert on secret identities, but he was pretty sure that taking your mask off in the middle of the sidewalk wasn't the best way to keep secrets. Then again he hadn't heard of Black Comet and didn't recognize her face, so maybe she wasn't famous enough for it to be an issue. He'd heard rumors of unmaskings failing because nobody knew who the hell the civilian identity was, it wasn't hard to believe it would happen here.
The unmasked Charlie didn't disappoint. She was certainly cute, as he had expected. It would have been awkward if he'd had to get the hell outta dodge then and there. "Charlie, huh? Cute name." He gave another grin, she seemed to like those. Brock's pimp arsenal wasn't too varied, but his smiles, muscles, and compliments usually served him well.
Once they were on the move again, Brock slipped his hand back around hers. It was a little gesture, but girls seemed to like it so who was he to complain? Besides, the closeness had its perks. "Where's this burger place again?" He was strongly tempted to get a little friskier, but they were in public and had just met. It might not go over too well.
