Alphy wasn't the only one caught off guard. If people hadn't started ducking and giving her an early warning that something was up, there would have been a teleporting accident; that most certainty wouldn't have been good. For surprises seeing an Ugg boot wearing thief toting a large gun being chased down by her archrivial (she wasn't really a nemesis) was almost enough for her do something. Spoiler looked at her a moment before taking off after the poor excuse for a thief. Seriously who robs a store in the middle of the day?
Anne turned back to Alphy who was looking at her all weird, then proceed to ask her if she was a Superhero. The teleporter stared a moment trying to let her mind catch up. Her very first instinct was to run; Spoiler knew who she was. She took a deep breath, no she didn't know, she couldn't. If the girl did know then the police or the Titans would have come already for her. If she knew who Anne was then they had met out of costume before, that begged the question...
The red eyed cap's panic attack took all of about three seconds. She smiled a little and made the shush sound, holding her fingers up to her mouth telling him to keep it quiet. "I'm not supposed to say anything, but no I'm not a superhero, I just work with them from time to time. It's nothing that exciting." It was true, just a few details left out here and there, nothing he needed to know.
Brian placed the tip of his finger up against his lower lip, deciding on what to order from the Chinese menu. "Hm.. May I have two orders of pot stickers? To go please?" It was a rather simple order for the waitress to jolt down, before taking off into the back. She returned within several minutes. Holding a brown paper bag, with his order inside.
"That be $5.37. You may pay in front. Thank you very much for your business. Have good day!" the waitress said in her somewhat broken English.
Brian grabbed the paper bag, making his way to the front of the restaurant, cutting past most of the other customers and waiters and waitresses. It got so busy within the small amount of time that he arrived. Ten minutes ago it was almost a ghost town. He approached the cashier, offering up his bill. He gave him a warm smile, doing well to keep his teeth hidden. "$5.37 prease."
Brian reached within his envelope full of cash, pulling out a single hundred dollar bill. He gave it to the man, with a warm smile in place. "Do you have change for a hundred?"
The man did his best to hold his smile in place, irritated that the young boy was giving him such a large sum of money for such a small bill. "I so sorry. I no have change for hundred."
Brian shrugged, leaving the hundred dollar bill on the counter. "Then you may keep the change and have a good day!" he giggled, as if money had no value to him what so ever. WHICH IT OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T!! The man dropped his jaw in complete and utter shock. Shocked that such a young boy would be carrying around money like that and throwing it away like nothing. The man lifted the bill up to the light, making sure it was not a counterfeit and sure enough it wasn't.
The young boy walked out into the busy streets, trying to take in his surroundings. He had never been in this part of Jump City before and it was really nice. There restaurants lined up on both sides of the street and they seemed to stretch on forever. No wonder the majority of human population within the states was overweight and obese. There were so many places to eat and so fattening. He had to admit, he could feel himself being lured in by the aroma of certain foods and how appealing it was to the eyes. But apparently that's how they got you.
Brian noticed a small Japanese restaurant across the street. He had never had Japanese food before but has read quite a bit into sushi. It seemed very tasty and also good for you. He quickly dashed across the street, with his paper bag in hand. He stood in front of the building gazing up at the sign. He noticed the beautiful art work painted on the windows and thought they were rather lovely.
Before he got the chance to enter the building, a gun shot went off. Followed by a high pitched scream down the street. People began to panic as a blond haired girl made an appearance, waving an oversized gun all over the place, carrying a decent sized bag, and wearing interesting shoes known as uggs. The girl leaped from car to car, before landing onto the sidewalk, shoving aside all those in her way. The girl was yelling something, but everyword she shouted was followed by another word unfamiliar to him. He had never cussed before or used foul language. Shocker..
A smile came to Brian's face at the sight of a familiar face. It was Spoiler! He remembered her back from the toy factory. She came off rather rude at first, but wasn't as bad she led on. "SPOILER! HEY!" he shouted, while frantically waving his arm in the air, trying to get the heroe's attention. Unaware to him that she was working.
The blond hair girl darted past him, nicking him in the shoulder, causing him to almost losing his balance. He watched as the girl in uggs continued down the road, knocking people aside, still yelling the unknown language. Spoiler landed onto a table top near by, that was currently occupied by a lovely looking couple. Spoiler apologized to the red headed girl, and called her by name. Did they know each other? Before he could flag her down, she was off. Once again in pursuit.
"Wait! Spoile-" he tried to chase after her but found himself colliding into a waiter from the Japanese resturant. The waiter landed on the ground, as Brian landed on the table with the lovely couple, knocking over young lady's tea, and tossing his bag off food up in the air. "Ow.. that hurt." he hissed, while rubbing the back of his head, not realizing that his food would be crashing down, somewhere.
If there was anything more annoying than getting interrupted once because of someone landing on your table, it happening twice in a row with the second time causing a whole order of pot stickers to get splattered all over your head and hair definitely takes the cake. There's a point where most people would just yell, scream, or just plain give up. Thankfully Alphonse Carey has a lot of self control due to his training and his optimistic demeanor. Besides it wouldn't do any good to be angry at him for accidentally tripping while trying to chase down a superhe- did he call out her name? Why do these people know each other?
Again Alphy began to question if anyone in this city was normal besides him. Compared to most people he at least could appear normal. Without even batting an eye he ignored the guy on the table and continued his sentence, “-o for them? Information gathering or something more dangerous?” Alphy smirked and added, “I like danger.”
Without moving the potstickers slid off of his head and splat against the table. He was a rock. Honestly this whole situation was funny.
Anne blinked at paperscrap and Alphy. It was terrible unfortunate luck, and it wasn't very nice, but she couldn't help but laugh seeing Alphy covered in tea and Paperscrap's pot sticks, and he had such a strait face. It took her a moment calm down enough to speak coherently, she was still giggling when she talked. "I do acquisition, information and things. It can be dangerous, depending on what I need to get." Oh be still my beating heart. She smirked back at him. "For not trying to flirt, you are doing a rather poor job at it."
Anne picked up a piece of Pot Stick, before turning to Paperscrap. She poked him, holding out the food, and pointed to her new friend's head. The thief couldn't help but giggle, this was quite the strange day; having Spoiler drop in on her and now Paperscrap come by. She was beginning to wonder if she should take vacation this town was getting strange.
Brian's face went red, when realizing where he had landed and the fact his lunch landed on the gentleman's head. He found it odd that the man did not react. Perhaps he was so enraged it only appeared that he was calm? The red headed girl did her best to maintain her composure, trying to keep her laughter in. She reached out towards the other man, covered in tea and pot stickers. Removing a pot sticker andnpoking the paper master with it. Without wasting a moment the young boy jumped onto his feet. "I am soo sorry, sir."
He reached out for a napkin and began to pat the man dry, not thinking that perhaps he was violating the man's personal space by being so close. Brian noticed a single pot sticker laying on the man's leg. Too close to the man's lower regions. Was he really going to grab at the pot sticker, with it being so close to the no flying zone? Sure he was!
He gently grabbed at the pot sticker with his fingers. He examined the little piece of meat wrapped in dough. It didnt seem too badly damaged. He ate it without giving it a second thought. It must have been a disgusting display for those around him. And a humiliating moment for the man. "Wow! That is tasty!" He shouted in surprise and wide smile in place. He glanced back at the man, "Again, sorry that my lunch ended up on you. Believe me, I would have rather eaten from the bag, instead of your lap." He said without the slightest hint of awkwardness.
He looked at the red headed girl, giving her a bow. Unfamiliar with who she was. "I apologize for the intrusion. Please, enjoy the rest of your mating ritual. Er.. the date. Bye."
Without wasting another moments he took off in a dash, seeing if he could find spoiler and afterwards perhaps grab something to eat. He still hadn't had lunch yet.
(Ooc: sorry for the sloppy reply. And quickie. Replying from my phone.))
Stephanie was starting to wonder how exactly someone goes as fast as Ms. Anarchy was going with Uggs on. She had tipped it to just having so many obstacles in the way, but on a plain stretch, Heidi was outrunning her somehow, despite her entire outfit being designed for aerodynamics and Heidi being dressed up in Abercrombie and Fitch. Stephanie's confusion was answered when the blonde pottymouth suddenly leapt a good 60 feet into the air and onto a building. She obviously was not wearing an ordinary pair of obnoxious but comfortable leather and cotton boots. Being without the ability to leap into the air majestically, Stephanie was left having to leap up bit by bit, taking a nearby awning and flagpole to her advantage. She was proud of the fact she didn't need high-tech gizmos or powers to scale a wall. Just some clever thinking and a running start. She was afraid she would lose the villain since it took her a good 10 minutes to scale the wall, but reaching the top, she realized maybe she would've preferred losing the villain.
Standing on the roof was the other half of the Anarchy Twins, Ginger Simmons with a snide smile on her face and remote in her hand. Next to her, Heidi was finishing up strapping herself in to what seemed to a large robotic exo-skeleton. "It seems the tables have been upturned my capricious mauve friend. You wouldn't think two of the most wealthy and lavished women in Jump City would so something as audacious as rob a monetary reserve, would you?" Ginger laughed callously as she overturned the jewelry bag's contents to reveal a bunch of worthless pebbles. "We're gonna you up until your mommy calls and has to until you and you and with the same toothbrush every time!" Heidi laughed, manipulating the robot to mimic her movements. "Sometime, I have not the faintest clue what you're saying even," Ginger sighed looking at her sister with a look of admonishment. "I could say the same to you, poindexter, you and your fancy words you say," Heidi snapped back, crossing the robot's arms with her own. "Just eradicate the Spoiler already you distrait dunce," Ginger sighed, clapsing her fingers over the bridge of her nose just above her glasses. "Can do... Where'd she go?" Heidi spoke proudly at first only to realize Spoiler had left her spot. "YOU LET HER JUST ABSCOND RIGHT OUT OF OUR VISION?!" Ginger snapped. (buh-dum-kssh) "I THOUGHT YOU WERE WATCHING HER!" "JUST GO AFTER HER ALREADY YOU SIMPLETON!"
Meanwhile, Stephanie had done the smart thing and retracted backwards the way she came while the two wannabe villains were babbling. After hitting back to the street level, Spoiler yelled out to everyone, "THERE'S A LARGE ROBOT ON THE BUILDING OVER THERE AND ITS PREPARED TO BREAK JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING HERE, GET OUT OF HERE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" Mass panic ensued as the once bustling group scattered in every which direction in an attempt to get to safety. Soon, the very robot she mentioned landed on the street level behind Stephanie. Heidi piloting it, smiled as she popped her knuckles, prompting the robot to do the same. Stephanie nervously placed herself in a fighting stance. "Let's go Purply," Heidi challenged preparing herself as well.
Anne, though strange in her own innocent yet hiding something way, seemed just as kindhearted as he was. Her comment about flirting made him hide his head in his hand just as the potsticker man reached down into his lower regions to retrieve his lost meal. For Alphy it was a little callous, but not all that intrusive considering the people he was raised around and the cultures he’d been exposed to. In fact he shrugged that off too and nodded at Brian, “It’s okay, you haven’t done anything wrong.” Then waving his arm towards Anne he continued, “This is Anne, we just m-” By then he’d started walking away leaving Alphy to stand up red faced, “WE AREN’T ON A DATE.”
As he sat down Alphy turned to Anne, “Seriously I’m not trying to flirt and we AREN’T on a date. What’s wrong with all of these peopl-” Then mass panic ensued and everyone scattered in every which way and direction. In the chaos Alphy found his way to a deserted alleyway and pulled his costume from his backpack. In a moment he became Penumbra and faded away in a cloud of smoke while stashing his backpack in a dumpster, safely encased in a trash bag. Running into danger he shot his grapple and swung unseen (as in his powers are on, he is invisible) onto the robot, “HEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, crime isn’t a fashion show, ladies.”
All the while he was slowly prying off a panel near what he thought was the main power coupling, Hopefully this works…

"I know you're not try and that we're not. I thought I'd let you-" Her voice dropped off when the top of the roof filled the air. Anne teleported out of the way, as the panic ensued, finding herself on the roof of her favorite restaurant dressed in full costume. Well sugar, this was certainly a situation. Giant robots were not normally her thing and it looked like the local heroes were stepping in. Spoiler was dealing with the twin that had first crashed the party.
Cat turned her gaze over to robot. Spoily-chan had the one with the fashion problem covered, so that left Ginger. A frown formed on her face, seeing the robot start to spark; Ginger didn't normally mess up that badly, but Cat wasn't one to complain. Mr Nos was going to be so mad at her for this jumping into a very public cap fight, but dang it, she was not going to let this go. Cat hated heroes, but villains went up there too when they started getting civilians involved indiscriminately. It was one thing to steal from a rich person, but a whole other issue to endanger the public. They be came no better than Heroes. Cat spat at the thought before taking a running jump.
She felt the rush of opening up a whole in the fabric of the universe before landing on top of the robot exoskeleton. Ginger jumped a little seeing her appear, making Cat grin darkly. Good. "I don't like people like you. You're a poor excuse for a villain. No better than a hero as far as I'm concerned." She hissed stabbing a control panel with a claw before evacuating out of the way. Cat appeared on the street; she looked at Spoiler and rolled her eyes. "Smelly Cheese, I thought it was your job to prevent this sort of thing from happening? I shouldn't have to get involved." The thief grinned, as she turned back to the robot, her claw hand twitching.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
