"Wha-- No! Seriously hun, you're fine!" The shocking super heroine began, only to be cut off by Robin. So, this was getting silly. Starfire seemed hellbent on not being a part of... something, and Robin seemed to be semi-taking it out on poor lil' Battery Girl (judging by one stray look), which wasn't all that fair when you consider that NONE OF THIS WOULD BE A PROBLEM IF HE JUST KISSED THE GIRL. And then Starfire got started, further fanning a flame that should never have even gotten started. Things like this stressed Sicily out to no end. Simple, easy things that could be solved with a few honest, heart-to-heart words, that just... don't... get... solved. She couldn't stand it. So you could imagine her impatience as Robin reenacted all the movements of MacBeth while stumbling to put together some sorta Mr. Wizard explanation for what had just happened, and Starfire's lack of buying into his elaborate play.
It. Wasn't. That. COMPLICATED!
"Okay, look," A semi-exasperated Battery Girl began, almost as soon as Starfire finished, walking from his side to Starfire's. If she didn't at least attempt to diffuse this, she might end up getting 'overcharged'... or fried, for that matter. With a deep breath to collect her thoughts, she slid a friendly arm around the alien girl's shoulder as she began to explain the way things SHOULD be explained. "He's your boyfriend, right?" No beating around the bush, no elaborate wording. "Don't even answer that; Yeah, he's your boyfriend. You like him. He likes you. Heck, he's a guy, so he 'really' likes you. I'm not here to get between you and him-- I just sorta wanna be a Titan! So here's what we're all gunna do--" Battery Girl explained, shooting an equal look to Robin for the one he passed her earlier, "YOU are gunna tell this girl you like her," She practically demanded, before looking back to Starfire, "YOU are gunna be all like 'awwww, I like you too!', and hug and kiss it out with him, and then we're all gunna go inside, and I am gunna make us some pie! Good plan? Great plan." Stepping back a bit and clapping her hands together, Battery Girl smiled brightly and nodded.
"Okay, go! Oh-- and don't mind me, I'm totes not even here, 'kay? And, and try to save all the 'special' hugs for later, yeah?"
