The last time she was here, Gnarrk was by her side and all was well in the world. The Teen Titans, which included herself and Gnarrk, had just defeated the Brotherhood of Evil as well as Dr. Light (who recognized her as Crystal Girl from their past encounter). Everyone had been socializing with one another and friendly, to the point that both she and Gnarrk felt comfortable in their presense and being on the surface.
How things have changed.
They have to help, they have to, Kole thought as she stopped at a street corner, looking around with wide eyes that held fear in the depths. Everything was so...busy, and bright. And noisy. And technological. If Gnarrk was there with her he would be a nervous wreck by everything.
But he wasn't, which was why she was there, seeking help from the Titans. Because once more her peaceful life had been interupted by people from the surface world, but instead of going after her like she believed they would be, they went after her dearest friend. Gnarrk was taken, their home half destroyed and the communicators lost in the firefight. But that didn't stop Kole from chasing the people back to the surface world, though she had lost them in a blizzard. One of the many drawbacks of living underneath the artic.
And so she travelled to Jump City, gaining passage through a variety of means to reach her destination. But finally she was there, though she needed to get to the tower and tell the others what had happened and what all she knew so that they would help her find Gnarrk. Unfortunately, getting there may take longer than she thought, especially since trouble was speeding down towards her on a motorcycle, with police sirens in the distance. Well, this should be interesting without Gnarrk, Kole thought as she thought quickly, getting into position as the dangerous motorcyclist, who was laughing and yelling about how they'll never catch him, came closer and closer. Then, she threw herself infront of the motorcyclist, transforming in midjump to protect herself from injury as she crashed into the man and his motorcycle.
If Gnarrk was there, he would've just thrown her like a boomerang at the obvious villain.
"And this is why you should always obey the rules of the road," Kole stated as she transformed back into her normal self, shaking herself out a bit and very much thankful that her crystal form is near invulnerable. Definintely not going to try that with a car, Kole thought, eyes on the villain.
