Clark rubbed at the back of his head sheepishly, his bright blue eyes moving to the side as Bruce reprimanded Dinah and Ollie. The Boy in Blue really didn't feel Batman had any right to be doing that, but there wasn't exactly much he could say about it without the attention turning to him and that really wasn't the point of this meeting. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, earning a look from Martian Manhunter, and decided it would be best to awkwardly settle with his hands in front of him on the polished table.
Superman gave the man in the cowl his full attention as Batman began to give them an overview. He so wasn't in Kansas anymore. Clark knew a lot of this information, but he didn't fully understand it. Sure, he had experience, but in the end, what did some farm boy actually know about fighting magic? He figured he'd let Batman and Ghost Dance take the lead and bounce in whenever they needed a human meat shield or somebody to smash through a door or something.
Seeing the kids broke Clark's overly sensitive heart. He tried not to let too much of the emotion show on his face but it was clear he didn't like it any more than the snarling Ghost Dance. Ollie's questions broke him out of the misery he felt wallowing just below the surface and he turned to look at the now fidgeting archer. Superman couldn't help but smile. Ollie could be brash and obnoxious at time, but he asked the right questions, and his heart was in a good place. Patience, the tilt of Superman's head silently implored as he waited for Batman to finish the briefing.

Yay filler post! I had nothing useful to add but posted anyway. Go me.
