In the midst of all their arguing, one more person arrived, ones of which neither Kyd Wykkyd nor Reflecto recognized. ‘Must be a new Titan,’ the two mentally figured. The stranger, however, did say he was unsure of why he was down here with them. That made Reflecto wonder if this stranger was even a Titan. Reflecto’s yellow, glowing eyes blinked as the stranger introduced himself simply as V. He watched curiously as V held out what appeared to be glowing balls. “Way cool man. But, uh what exactly are they?” inquired the telepathic cat man curiously.
Kyd, meanwhile, just stared greedily at the glowing orbs.
With bird boy not there, the telepath found himself looking at Raven for guidance since she was the most experienced one of the group besides Speedy. Before he could ask her, Jaime beat him to it inquiring her of how they should proceed. He suspected they had very little in common, but one thing was sure, with Robin absent they both viewed Raven as their temporary leader. Of course the proud cat man would never admit that. Him and the metal bug having something in common, perish the thought.
Listening to Raven’s response though, Reflecto caught her looking at him every now and then. Still, her suggestion that they should operate in compatible teams made sense. To this he found himself glancing over at Sapphire, mouthing, ‘you and me.’ But, Raven’s question snapped his attention back to her. “Well, actually Raven, I was hoping to go with Sapphire,” he admitted sheepishly. He rubbed the back of his neck.
Next, a familiar voice sounded forcing both Reflecto and Kyd to turn around just in time to see that Robin finally decided to show up (as though he had a choice to). The cat man forced himself not to laugh at the clothes Control made Robin wear. Orange just wasn’t his color.
Kyd stifled his snickers towards Robin’s outfit even though they all wore just about the same thing. At least he still had his cowl.
Managing not to laugh, Reflecto listened carefully to what bird boy had to say about all this and secretly he thought, ‘well, thank god he is here now. Perhaps, now we will have a fighting chance to escape.’ When Robin was pretty much giving out orders on who should go with whom, Reflecto found himself smiling because he got to go with Sapphire. Sure, the annoying teleporter was going too, but he could tolerate that. Even though he wasn’t technically a Titan anymore he nodded at Robin. That and he was hardly in the position to argue. “If you say so.”
Kyd Wykkyd, on the other hand, was less than pleased with Robin telling him where to go and who with. “What? In case you have already forgotten bird boy, I’m not even a member of your little rag tag team of super losers. So, why the hell should I listen to you?” demanded Kyd, arms firmly crossed making even Reflecto face palm. “So, no freakin’ way am I going with you and the two love birds,” Kyd quickly added, referring to Reflecto and Sapphire.
Reflecto blushed at Kyd’s love bird statement and sensing Sapphire wouldn’t be amused he just shrugged innocently. “What? I didn’t tell him to say that…”
ooc: Wasn't sure if it was my turn or not.
