It Came From Horror Island

Kaie was excited. To be honest that had been happening a lot lately, but this time it was for a different reason. The Titans had won an all-inclusive resort vacation, and she had been one of the ones picked to go along! Some heroes were staying back in town to hold down the fort while the others were sailing off to some exotic island paradise. It was gonna be great. She was a bit disappointed that Lagoon Boy hadn't been able to come, but she figured all he ever wore was basically swim shorts, she could ogle him whenever she wanted.

The giant sat cross-legged on the deck, watching the waves go by. She'd never really been on a ship before, it was pretty cool. Cy had modified a racquetball court on the cruise ship into a nice little suite for her. She was a bit too big for the on-ship pool, but the beach would definitely be big enough for her once she arrived. She was looking forward to that. She'd used her Titan funding to get a new summer wardrobe, more suited to the climate they were headed for. It was the first time she'd worn shorts that she could remember. It was a bit chillier back in her homeland, and the heat down here had been pretty surprising. Kinda nice, but still surprising. Also surprising was that Ma had let her get some of this stuff. Mama Keelin had always been pretty strict about things, Kaie hadn't expected her to allow her within a mile of a giant-size bikini. But Ma had been more focused about how it was a break from the dangers of superheroing, so she'd been willing to let some things slide. Kaie stared out across the ocean, smirking and laughing a bit as she imagined how the heroes would react to it.

FEMALE EIGHTEEN TEEN TITAN PROFILE Creds to Emma! Silverwing closes her eyes, as she stood by the deck. She wore a short yellow summer dress, matching with brown sandals. Taking off her floppy hat, as she lets the cool breeze blew against her silver hair. Filling her senses with the smell of the ocean. Taking her shades off. She opens her eyes to beauty of the deep blue sea. Sparkling like sapphire stone, reflected by the rays of the sun. She could just yell out, she was in heaven, or probably enjoying a slice of it. But whatever it is, she was at peace and tranquility. Putting back her shades on. These was what she needed, these was what the Teen Titans needed. A break from the city, crime fighting, villains and summer heat. Sure. Her family could afford luxury vacation, but it wasn’t as half as fun spending the holidays with your friends. She didn’t even think twice, when she was asked to join a summer vacation trip. Organize by the Teen Titans themselves, after they won a free expense trip for a group to go. How did that ever happens? WHO CARES? An all expensive pay trip with a group of friends, plus heart throb heroes wearing speedo. This silver hair girl was all for it.

The Titans were going on a little trip to a tropical island via cruise ship. No way was Millie going to miss this. She had only learned of the Titans upcoming trip after accompanying Starfire to the Tower after meeting her at the mall. Believing the trip would be a great way to befriend the heroes Millie asked if she could tag along. The team said she could so long as it was cool with her parents. Thankfully her parents were cool with it and she was able to take off work. She was so happy she flashed her parents a happy grin upon being given the a-okay.

This trip was also the perfect opportunity for her to get away from city life and more importantly away from her older cousin. Okay, so an overbearing, over-protective older brotheresque type he wasn’t so bad and she’d be lying if she said she wouldn’t miss him. So after packing up her things in a couple of suitcases and grabbing her sunhat and dark sunglasses she was off.

Once aboard the ship and after she unpacked all her stuff in her room she appeared on deck wearing her hot pink bikini with her purple, glittery moviestaresque sunglasses, and covering her tiny feet were pink flip flops. She held her matching pink towel over her shoulder as she walked. It was safe to assume her favorite color in the world was pink.

Spotting Kaie sitting in the middle of the deck and as big as the giantess is it would have been almost impossible to miss her, Millie gave her a wave. “Hey there Kaie, glad to see you made it! Isn’t the atmosphere of the ocean breathtaking? It is so beautiful out here and I cannot wait until we hit our destination! This is just so exciting and way too cool!” she shouted as she neared the giantess. Spreading her towel out on one of the lawn chairs near Kaie she rubbed suntan lotion all over her body. Looking at Kaie then at her small bottle she offered her some even though it would probably take the entire bottle and more to cover the giantess. “Want some?” she asked. “After all you don’t want to burn. Trust me on that one. Like I remember this one time when my cousin and I were well kids and we went on this huge family vacation or whatever together and like we had this huge tub of suntan lotion. Well everyone put some on because we were at the beach and guess which one of us was just too damn proud to put any on?” she reminisced to Kaie. “My dorky cuz, that’s who,” she said with a giggle before Kaie even had a chance to guess. She then let out a dreamful sigh. “But now he’s twenty-two and thinks he’s all that just cause he’s an adult with some measure of financial success and apparently he has…connections with some very important political figures of Jump,” she added somewhat jealous of Devin.

Vacations were a waste of valuable time and resources. Robin wasn't sure how they'd convinced him to go. It might have had something to do with Starfire, and bikinis, and suntan lotion, and maybe a tiny bit everyone elses encouragement. There was the part where he had convinced himself that this was good for team building. 

Of course, there was the bigger mystery of who and why they had been given this free vacation. That had caught his interest the most. In fact, that was what he was thinking about as he leaned on the railing and stared blankly across the ocean. The ocean didn't hold much wonder for him anymore. That was the problem with living so close to something so magnificent. It became common place. It lost it's magic.

The young leader frowned and glanced down at his teammates on the lower deck. It had been quite the effort to bring Kaie along but her enthusiasm was heartwarming. Silverwing looked just as content. Maybe this was a good idea. The boy made his way down the stairs to see his team, his cape catching in the sea breeze. Unlike the others he had refused to have anything to do with summery get up. He wore his uniform as though he was afraid he would lose himself without it, and that was quite possibly true.

He halted in his tracks with a horrified look on his face when he made it to the panel as the camera panned out in a Jaw-esque fashion. The boy's eyes were on the blonde with so many pink accessories she was practically florescent and his stomach dropped in absolute horror.

It would be like Kitten to offer the entire team a cruise just to be trapped on a boat with him.

Before he could make a rash decision and make a flying leap for the ocean, the blonde turned excitedly to Kaie and Robin realized that he was being stupid. That was Millie. He needed to stop being so paranoid. What? Next thing he'd think Slade was on the ship or something equally ridiculous.

The Titan's leader continued his way over to the group on the deck and gave them a smile. “Hey girls,” he greeted, since for some reason he was the only guy on the deck at the moment. (Someone save the poor man.) "How are you enjoying the vacation so far?"  because he wasn't able to relax and enjoy it. He needed confirmation that it wasn't a waste of time.

Unlike Robin, who could get paranoid about his left pinky toe, Beast Boy was more than ready for this vacation. When did the Titans ever get an opportunity like this?  The answer was never.  They never got an opportunity like this! And now that they had so many members on the team, they could afford for some of them to take a well-deserved break from crime fighting. Robin was taking this whole thing way too seriously -- sure there was that whole mysterious benefactor thing to stress over, but they were the Teen Titans. They could handle pretty much anything thrown at them. The city was in good hands, they were going to have an awesome time...what could go wrong?

Since they were on vacation, Beast Boy had brought some of his most tacky tourist clothing out of hiding for the occasion. He didn't get a chance to wear anything but his uniform all that often, so he was taking full advantage of the situation. He had on a pair of tan swim trunks and one of those red-and-white Hawaiian print shirts, with regular flip flops for his feet and a floppy sunhat for his head with sunglasses perched on the rim.

Just as Robin was beginning to feel overwhelmed from all the estrogen on deck, Beast Boy arrived to save the day -- and he wasn't alone. He was carting in the mother load of all sunscreen lotion stashes on one of those red toy wagons. There was enough lotion in that wagon to cover a herd of elephants. He wasn't sure why the wagon had been on a cruise ship, but who was he to question his good fortune? It would have been a nightmare to carry all of that lotion without it.

"Hey Robin! Ladies~" Beast Boy purred as he strutted aboard deck, tacky clothes, wagon and all. He performed a double take upon seeing Robin in his uniform, then massaged his temples and shook his head like a father chastising his child. "Robin, dude, we're on vacation, not a mission. Lose the cape and tights and put on some trunks," he teased, fighting the urge to head on over there and mess up his fearless leader's porcupine head. The ocean would do that for him once he collaborated with Cyborg in a plan to toss Robin overboard.

"So, ladies. Does anybody need to be...lotioned up?" Beast Boy offered, taking two bottles from his monstrous collection and twirling them like a cowboy would twirl pistols in the Wild West.

Technically, Robin wasn't the only one in uniform. Cyborg was coming up from the cabin of their small, recreational yacht (that they of course did not own because who had time for that kind of luxury?) in his normal state. Well, he did put in some aquatic upgrades for this trip, not that anyone could see that. What they could see was that even Cyborg, who didn't have the option of taking off his armour so to speak, put on an equally tacky tourist shirt, tan bermuda shorts, and topped it off with a straw hat. As he appeared on deck his gaze fell on BB first. He snapped his fingers and double gunned his best friend with an approving grin. "Well awwright~"

Somehow, he wasn't surprised that their leader didn't put in the extra effort. "You're not going to keep that on all day," he stated, not questioned, to the bird-boy with a knowing grin. He even gave him a clue as to why with a side glance to the wagon of suntan lotion. Speaking of which, there were more important things happening then Robin's wardrobe. The ladies needed lotioning~ 

He sauntered over next to Beast Boy as best as a bulky cybernetic teen could. "I would also like to extend my assistance." There was no need to lament the joy of being lotioned up being taken away when he could be generous and offer it to the female members of the team. The other guys were on their own (usually a mutually accepted agreement).

The even ratio of estrogen and testosterone was broken when Starfire ascended up to the deck in full swimsuit glory. The Tamaranean was certainly looked like she was in her element, there under the sun looking perfectly comfortable with herself in her bikini. Her planet was a tropical climate before the great war, so a tropical island would be the closest thing she could have on Earth to a Tamaranean like home. She could never give up her real home with the Titans, which was why Starfire very much considered this a family vacation. It was sad not everyone could join them, but if she was being honest it wouldn't feel complete without Robin; even if he did not wish to properly partake in the festivity. 

Still, she floated to his side and touched down. The girl even smelled tropical; she used coconut lotion the cabin. She smiled expectantly, as though waiting for him to notice her and say something. "You are not ready for the water," she observed, glancing him up and down, still smiling. "Are you waiting until we arrive?" 

It would be too illogical if he joined them but would not actually join them in vacationing. This was not Jump City to be protected and defended, nor were they going to a place where they anticipated any threat. Besides, a true warrior could fight with only the skin on his back. Of course, Starfire's kind were not as fragile. "The lack of melanin in your skin will have you as red as a cooked crustacean. I am told that smearing the protective lotion on exposed skin is normal bonding on the beach? If so, may I be the one to help you apply it?"

Aaand there went that smile that was hard to say no to. Pleeeeaaase? 

[Gaunt]

"Hey Millie!" Kaie waved to the little heroine. Suddenly she was feeling overdressed. The silver-haired girl further down the deck was in a sundress, which was making Kaie kinda jealous that she could wear those, but Millie here was already geared up for sand and sun. "How ye been? I haven't seen ya since the mall!" She had wondered what Millie had been up to since being invited back to the tower.

Before long, founding Titans started filing in. Robin was first, in full costume. Kaie didn't comment, but she failed to suppress a giggle. The boy wonder was doing a great job of fitting in on his vacation. Beastboy seemed more in the spirit of things. He was in full tacky tourist gear, and offering to help with sunscreen. Kaie was intrigued by the idea. Getting that sort of attention from any superhero would be pretty cool, not to mention a founding Titan. This was even putting aside the fact that he was kind of cute. She stood, stretching. "Ah may take ye up on that, BB. Just give me a sec, I'll be right back." She gave him a wink and a playful grin before scampering off to her room.

By the time Kaie returned, Cy and Starfire had joined the party on deck. Cy seemed to be echoing Beastboy's offer, and Starfire was giving Robin a similar offer herself. As much as she shipped it, Kaie couldn't let them have all the fun. She stepped back out on deck in a bright blue bikini. If the fourth wall could withstand a hit of that magnitude, one might even say it was a similar color to her text. She strolled over to where she was before, sitting down and beckoning to Beastboy. "That offer still open?"

Millie let out a soft giggle as Robin walked over to she and Kaie. She couldn't believe this guy. He was in full uniform while on vacation for peetes sakes the nutter! She gave his uniform a once over. "Hey there Robin! How goes it? You sure you want to wear that all day long? We're on vacation dude. You seriously need to chill out and relax. You are more uptight than my cousin. If you do relax what is the worst thing that could possibly happen? Like this one time a friend of mine knew this guy and like he like you would never relax even on vacation and you know what happened to him?" she asked happily with a grin. After giving Robin a few moments to guess Millie continued. "Well he ended up...all alone working at a boring job for meager pay. That story proves you don't want to be all uptight because if you do, you will end up bitter and all alone. Soooo you going to relax now?" she answered, warning him of the dangers uptightedness can lead to.

At his inquiry she just smiled, allowing the cool ocean breeze to pass through her face. She took a deep breath, breathing all the fresh air in. "Most relaxing. Thank you so much for letting me tag along. I know I'm not really a Titan, so I really appreciate it. I like being part of a team. Nobody at home really understands me. I mean they're sympathetic and all, but they still don't understand... Know what I mean?"

But Millie was not the only one to call Robin out on his being in full uniform. The Titans, green changeling appeared first pulling a wagon full of suntan lotion after him soon followed by Cyborg and best of all both of them offered to lotion Millie and the other girls up. The duplicator could not help smiling at her good fortune. And she was not the only one. Kaie also seemed interested in getting lotioned by Beast Boy. She watched as the giantess stood up and left. While she was gone Millie decided to have some fun and flirt with Beast Boy and Cyborg. She couldn't help finding the green shapeshifter cute and his cybernetic bestie interesting.

Faking a yawn she gave her arms a stretch and as she did so she purposely allowed for her lotion to spill all over the deck. She then put on her best innocent look. "Oh, whoops! I am so sorry you guys. I can be so clumsy sometimes. But the good news is it looks like I need more lotion. Now which of you lucky boys would like to do the honors?" she asked, deciding to let them choose.

A few minutes later Kaie returned on deck. "Oh look out Kaie I spilled some of my lotion on the deck," she shouted at the giantess in warning. It would certainly be no good if the giantess were to suddenly slip and fall.

FEMALE EIGHTEEN TEEN TITAN PROFILE Creds to Emma! Hey Robin! The Silver Titans replies, as she held back her giggle and turns it into a smile. She does admire the Boy Wonder work ethic, but really? Their on a ship heading to a resort island? She was pretty sure the big boat wasn’t gonna turn back to Jump City on his command. He should really learn to chill, like Beast Boy and the other Titans who seem to be adapting it pretty well. “Nice try, guys…” She smirk when the guys tries offer services. “But I'm saving theseeee….” Stepping forward, she fails to listen to Millie warning about the slippery-accident-lotion. Like an embarrassing comedy, she slips and falls on her butt…painfully. Her face mix with pain and anger, before it turning red humiliation, as the passengers around them started laughing at her. She turns to Millie with a glare. A glare that could kill, with her teeth grinding together. “MILLIE!” She turns to the fast talking Titans, who seem to be apologizing to the wrong person. Great! Just great! She hasn't even step on the island yet and she has already humiliated herself. The magical silver girl, Silverwing, has humiliated herself in PUBLIC! Awesome for her public image!

The last thing Robin needed was to hear a story about how he was a horrible person who was going to end up bitter and all alone. The boy's face pinched in an unamused fashion as he waited for Millie to get the hint and shut up. Unfortunately, that wasn't happening.

Beast Boy saved the day, irony of ironies. The young leader scowled at his teammate who was the second person to point out that he shouldn't be in uniform. The boy hunched his shoulders, hiding in his cape, and he watched Beast Boy make a fool of himself with the female Titans. Or...not? The kid's masked eyes narrowed at yet more irony as the female Titans responded positively to the changeling's advances.

Well...okay then.

Cyborg jumping into the fray wasn't entirely unexpected, but Robin really didn't appreciate yet another person commenting on how he should loosen up and get out of uniform. It just happened to be Cyborg that he snapped at. “I get it!” the boy replied throwing up his hands in defeat and taking a step back towards the cabins, if only it would shut the others up.

The sight of Starfire stopped him in his tracks. The Boy Wonder's eyes widened comically and a faint flush crept across his face. His mouth was also hanging open. This time, however, it didn't manage to bonk him back on the head. The sight of Starfire in a bikini was probably enough to make his brain explode. At the very least it had stopped functioning.

“I uh. I was um. Just about to er change. Yeah.” the idea of her helping him with his suntan lotion was enough to make his face the same shade as his shirt. “And sure. Yeah. You can help. That would be uhhh great. Thanks Star. I am going to go and er. Get ready. Yeah.” he did a comedic sidestep.

A number of things occurred at once. Millie was busy flirting with the other guys and, in a display of shameful waste, had squeezed her suntan lotion onto the deck. Silverwing was the unlucky soul to trip on it before anyone could warn her. Robin heard the other girl go down and turned to frown at her in concern. “Silverwing, are you okay?” the boy asked his teammate. She didn't look hurt, however, it seemed like it was mostly her pride that had been wounded.

As soon as he was reassured she wasn't about to die, Robin made his way back into the cabin. He pulled out his bag and dug through it for the suit he'd brought with him. What he first came upon, however, was more disturbing. He pulled out the bright green speedo and gave it a skeptical glance before finding a note that had originally been tucked away with it.

The Boy Wonder crumpled the note in his green clad fist and shook his head before tucking the stupid speedo into the bottom of his bag where no one would find it (this is your hint to find it). In record time he changed into his green swim trunks and red tank top, leaving the uniform behind – not really, it totally looked like he was wearing a beach-ready version of his uniform – before heading back out onto the deck and pretending nothing awkward had ever happened. At all.

And all the while, Raven was against the wall, hiding in what little shade the overhanging roof of the cabins provided. She was wearing black surf shorts that reached halfway to her knees, a purple striped tanktop, and a sleeveless hoodie over top of it all. Her indigo hair was braided back away from her face, and her makeup was considerably lighter to match the feel of the impromptu vacation.... Or maybe to comply with the weather. It didn't entirely matter because somehow she managed to look like she was at least trying to participate in the tropical delight of this cruise. Not necessarily succeeding, but at least trying....

The Titans were an amusing bunch to watch for sure, especially in this particular habitat. Robin in full uniform and Beast Boy very much not. Kaie and Millie taking turns flirting with the guys, Starfire adorable and oblivious, and Silverwing--

On the deck. On the floorboards.

Within a few seconds, Raven had melted through the floor and come back up beside Silver, a single hand reached out to the girl on the floor. Their leader, ever concerned for the well-being of his team, had just been by to see how the girl was faring. Raven figured it was her turn, and in matters of empathy for her fellow man (in this case, woman), she could hardly be outdone.

She blinked once and met the silver-bender's eyes.
"Are you okay?"

It seemed that Beast Boy wasn't the only Titan who was taking this vacation in stride. No sooner had he begun twirling his bottles of lotion like an actor starring in a cheesy western film then his best buddy in the universe swaggered on deck. A delighted, impossibly large grin stretched across the string bean's face, and it was possible that a stranger could misinterpret that toothy smile as something a lot less friendly and a lot more creepy. Fangs tended to have that affect on a fellow. He winked and sent that double-gunned gesture right back at his favorite tin man -- being careful not to squeeze his bottles too hard and accidentally splatter lotion all over Cyborg's wonderful shirt.

"Lookin' good, tin man," Beast Boy praised, approving eyes glancing over the very similar, but very fetching outfit Cyborg was sporting. They were birds of a feather...or, tourists of a feather? Whatever, they'd stick together. All these rhymes what am I doing.

An impish grin crawled onto his face as Cyborg's most recent quip about Robin's uniform was enough to get their fearless leader out of his chair and storming off to his cabin to hopefully change into a set of decent swimwear. Starfire's appearance most certainly helped -- and if she was anyone else, Beast Boy probably would have been mopping the deck with his drool because wow that girl could wear a bikini. But, this was Starfire they were talking about. As supermegafoxyAWESOMEhot gorgeous as she was, they had been on a team long enough for Beast Boy to develop more of a sibling relationship with her than anything else. Besides, he had other ladies to flirt with.~

And said other ladies were actually accepting his advances. Was this real? Was he dreaming? If so, this little changeling didn't want to wake up. He didn't even need to resort to begging for their affections! Score one for the babe magnet in green.~

Kaie was the first Titan lady to take him up on his offer. Beast Boy's eyes widened slightly in mingled shock and amazement as she expressed her interest, and he responded by bobbing his head like an idiot as she excused herself to get changed. Scoooooooore.~ When the giantess' impressive figure had disappeared from view, it was Millie who stole his attention. Did yet another female want him and Cyborg to rub lotion all over their body? That didn't come out perverted at all. Best. Vacation. Ever.

Beast Boy was contemplating just how Millie had managed to get her own bottle of lotion -- he had raided everyone's cabins and had taken every bottle he could find so the ladies would have to take him up on his offer or just take the wagon by force -- when the spiky-haired Aussie "accidentally" spilled said bottle all over the deck. And, because timing just liked to mess with the world, Kaie walked back onto the deck dressed and ready for lotioning. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

Beast Boy was prepared to made a mad dash for the puddle of lotion and slide into it baseball style, allowing the slick white fluid to coat his legs and back like a pro -- because sometime during that mad dash he totally would have taken his shirt off like a boss -- in order to prevent Kaie or anyone else from slipping and slamming their face into the deck. It made for a very nice mental image, complete with all the ladies praising him for his noble sacrifice, and it was very possible he would had gone through with it, too -- had Silverwing not strolled in and taken the hit already.

Oops.

"Ooooh," Beast Boy hissed, grimacing at his teammate and her bruised pride and bottom before a wry, good-natured grin replaced his sympathetic wince. It may have been humiliating for Silverwing, but the changeling was still an immature kid, and there was no way he couldn't see the humor in this. He took great pains not to laugh out loud, however, in case his giggling redirected Silverwing's wrath from Millie over to him.

Raven was comforting her now anyways -- when had she gotten here? -- so Beast Boy's attention could return to Kaie. And his brain finally processed that she was in a bikini. A massive bikini that she managed to pull off rather well.

...What was he supposed to do again?

Right. Lotion. Kaie was beckoning to him now, and Beast Boy responded like the obedient puppy he was. If humans had a tail, his would be wagging. He flashed a delighted grin to Cyborg and said, "You've got Millie, right?" before prancing over to Kaie, wagon and all. On the way, Beast Boy couldn't resist looking over to Raven and waggling his eyebrows mischievously; and she thought his methods never worked. He didn't even notice that Robin had returned in a slightly more acceptable set of clothing.

He figured he would need half the lotion in his wagon for this one.

Cyborg lifted up the scrawny green bean by the shoulders. "I'm letting you go because I love you," he said, and with a look of resignation, threw him overboard. "He'll be fine, swimming out there in that big ocean with the big fish." It was still probably for the best this happened when Robin went downstairs to change, lest Cyborg be put up for an emergency head scan.

"Goodbye Beast Boy!" Starfire waved to the submerging speck. "If you visit Aqualad, tell him he can come to shore and apply lotion on my body anytime." The alien had an expression that went very well with the radio playing smooth mood music. It was definitely for the best this happened while Robin was downstairs.

"I'll be happy to step in as official lotionater in Beast Boy's absence. Ladies, if you would proceed to get comfortable as I adjust my hardware for a second~" A few clicks of his magic arm and he was putting bottles in where his cannon would be. It takes a Cyborg to make suntan lotion efficient. He used this feature when he got too lazy to squeeze all the condiments on his meat. Ketchup, mayo, relish in one blast for the win!

Some people would say that's just too lazy. He called it genius.

To say Kaie was confused would be an understatement. The whole deck had gone nuts in the past minute. The giant winced in sympathy as Silverwing hit the ground. "Ye okay o'er there?" she called out, craning her neck a bit to see the shiny-haired heroine. Of course she'd probably taken much worse falls as a superhero, but it was nice to ask.

Then, just as Beastboy was about to set to work, that went insane too. Kaie settled down, grinning as the green hero prepared the lotion, only to switch to a look of absolute confusion as Cyborg tossed him overboard. "Wha were that for?!" Kaie leaned up on her arms, giving the mechanical man a weird look. She knew the two of them were known for their playful pranks, but that was taking it a bit far. With his powers Beastboy should be fine, but he could miss out on their wonderful vacation!
