[ooc: three days ago, Le Havre]
"Just a few more blocks, Mademoiselle Smith." The long-legged man with a clipboard waltzed away through the long corridors of endless container blocks. "It arrived two days ago on the SS Atlantic conveyor II, one of the fastest container ships on the planet." For a French accountant, Mr Dégard had a very lyrical voice. He still walks too fast. These wretched long legs. Lisa didn't want to use her powers to catch up with him. Father forbid the use of her powers before the mission really started. "Ah. There we are. Container U-trois-cent-soixante-douze." He stopped in front of a cubic container of roughly twelve feet length. "Four mètres by four mètres. It is smaller than our typical container, but weights significantly more." The man seemed intrigued by the numerical facts on his sheet of paper. "May I inquire what is inside?" Lisa looked at the man. With his strange way of walking and talking, she had decided to think of him as 'the funny Frenchman'. "Just toys of mine." "Ah." The man didn't seem to believe the girl. "And when should I schedule a team to unload container U372?" He asked, tapping his pen impatiently against the yellow clipboard. "That won't be necessary. The container will be empty by tomorrow."
[ooc: now, outside of Paris]
Laser blasts every which way. "The robot is inside the second perimeter." A man yelled into his communicator before grabbing his gun again and shooting at the metal giant. When will they learn? Lisa didn't make any effort to dodge the energy beams. They just bounced off the Golem's armored body like jets of water from a garden hose bounce off a car. Hey, maybe I won't have to clean this puppet tomorrow. And with a loud crash, she made her trusty Golem crash through an armored door. "It breached the third perimeter!"
Inside the security room, a few floors below the heavy action, a stocky French general was stroking his mustache. "It seems zee robot is heading towards section Bee Euuuuh." He was speaking to his American counterpart over a videochat stream. "B.E.? Where you quarantined the machines left behind by the brotherhood of evil?" "Yessss, zee ones that zee Teen Titans did not completely trash." A red light started flashing in the background. Another communication from the third perimeter interrupted the two military heads. "Mon général, we need reinforcements now." The older man twirled his mustache for a moment before turning his attention to the American on the screen. "You heard zee men. Can you send us support?" There was an American military base two hours north of Paris.
Inside her cockpit, Lisa was growing bored. Even the little red lights flashing on her screen were not distracting her very much. With a simple thought, she had the Golem slap away a group of men charging at her. Then the puppet jumped up a ledge as some bigger canon appeared from a door. Oooh. Something I actually need to dodge. Looking through her panoramic screen, she browsed her surrounding for something that could serve as a cover for her giant toy. Then she decided the best way to counter the canon was simply to jump at it and punch it to the ground.
"Geronimoooo." Lots of little red dots flashed as the men shot while they scrambled away from the imminent impact.
