Punching things. I'm good at that. Lisa smiled inside her cockpit as the Golem moved around, punching police cars that had agglomerated at the edge of the city park. Keep them bus. Grab the attention of the heroes. Simple tasks. The little mercenary villain suspected someone wanted a distraction. Fine with me. Bullets just bounced off the armored mecha. I get to test my new toy. With a powerful heave, the fifty ton, walking tank lifted one of the police cars and sent it flying into the park. There was a loud, satisfying splash sound. Police, meet fishes. Fishes, meet police.
The Golem -tenth iteration of the successful villain brand- walsed around the edge of the park, still causing mischief. When are those stupid heroes coming? Lisa's cover had been blown when she lost to Raven and Speedy. Daddy hadn't been happy about that. On the flip side though, the big boss had agreed on fitting the giant puppet with speakers. It's not like my voice would give anything away now. And beyond the pleasure of chatting with other people, the speakers could also deliver a one shot sonic attack. Nothing that led to permanent damage, just enough to disorient those peskily agile heroes. Mission debrief had definitely not been pleasant. You have to beat that wretched archer next time. Dad's words. And be ready for Robin.
Flexing it's metallic muscles, the Golem was doing more show than damage. Lisa actually couldn't afford the fight scene to become too barren and destroyed: she'd run out of things to chuck at the heroes once they did show up. Instead, the Puppeteer simply scared away the police force by coming closer, punching cars in and moving away when their ineffective bullets started raining. Booooring.
