It felt good to be home.
They had landed. Earth was safe. The aliens were gone. Robin exhaled in relief and stretched in the Titan's launch bay. They hadn't been docked for more than five minutes but Robin was excited to feel the pull of real honest to goodness gravity keeping him down. If the rest of his teammates weren't here he probably would have done an excited cartwheel. All of the team hadn't arrived yet. They'd been scattered across the entire Earth fleet, and Robin couldn't even begin to imagine the casualties, but for now he could focus on what was good: he was home, and the friends with him were safe.
The same could not be said for their home. It hadn't taken the hungry teens long to discover that all the food in the tower was no longer a viable option. The cupboards were empty. Even of cereal! Their fridge was bursting with the blue fuzz, and Robin sprang back slightly upon opening the door. It growled at him. He promptly slammed the fridge door shut. They were probably going to need to get a biohazard team out here, but until then, they still needed food. Especially, since the rest of the Titans would be coming here when they landed for the sort of anti-apocalyptic celebration that only the Titans could put on regularly.
"Looks like we're going to have to go to the store," the team detective deduced unshockingly. It was the sort of adventure that seemed almost absurdly mundane in comparison to saving Earth from alien invaders. "Who's coming with me?"
