Here he was out in what seemed like the middle of nowhere near the dankest part of the city and fully ready for battle as he was in his static uniform. Turns out right after stopping Dr. Light he was hired as a bodyguard for the new Multi-Vision Visor they were shipping here for top level research. The problem was they didn't have enough guards to post on this location as the holidays were fast approaching and most had families to take care of. This was the first time he had an actual job in his uniform. Funny how he was getting paid for this though, it must be worth a lot to put Static in charge of some eye-wear. "This maybe my first job outside of Burger Fool" Static shivered when he remembered those painful memories. "The only fool now would be whoever tries to steal this thing."
News articles could be a thing of great knowledge or they could be a single fragment of imminent doom. Everyone agreed that knowledge was power and power was a double edged sword. A single gadget with the ability to see in several different wavelengths. It would put a hamper on his night time wanderings if something like that were in the hands of the local heroes or even the guards that protected everything. That gadget would be his. If he couldn't have it, he knew what to do. He'd destroy it and take the data used to make it. Sure it would mean he'd have to get his hands on all the right materials for it , but it was possible with time.
Lights from the streetlamps illuminated the darkness of the street closest to the warehouse. It was the most forward entrance but everyone knew not to use the most obvious entrance. He stayed in the shadows, eclipsed by a nearby building. Out of sight and out of the guards' minds. His gaze swept the area, surveying the guards and the building. In total, there were but a handful of guards outside the building. With something that had attained this much attention, it was a shame there wasn't more of a challenge. The eyes of his mask narrowed, mirroring his own. Regardless of the number of guards he had to be careful. Picking up a small rock at his feet, he aimed it at the nearby streetlamp before letting it fly. The glass shattering on impact, drowning this street in shadows.
With that he retreated, choosing to take a different route so that he could watch the guards. Most likely they would assume that the bulb went bad seeing as this wasn't exactly a well kept part of town. Making his way around the other side of the nearby building, he made sure to stay within the direct shadow of the building. His assumption was right, the guards from this side of the building were approaching the lamppost.
Predictable.
These hired guns were always so easy to toy with. While they walked over to the shattered glass, he teleported the short distance across the street to the outside of the warehouse and turned the corner to hide behind a stack of crates. It wouldn't take long before the guard that was posted over here would return. Under the mask, a flicker of a smirk played on his lips. This was beginning to get too easy for him. He was actually beginning to want a challenge. As the thought crossed his mind, the guard returned to being posted near his little hiding spot. Whistling softly to catch that guard's attention without a horde coming to him, he waited. When the guard heard the whistle, he approached the hiding spot to investigate, only to be grabbed by the shadows holding X and suffocated until he was knocked out. Letting the knocked out guard lie in his hiding spot, X moved on, making his way towards a broken window that no one seemed to pay attention to.
Static was starting to get bored with the eerie silence and his night watch duties as the time seemed to go on forever. Covering his mouth to stifle a yawn he was scared awake as he heard a loud shatter of glass, sure the guards were feeling as lazy as Static did but this put him on high alert as he stayed close to the MVV as the last defense. Thing was Static was being stealthy as he had his feet on the ceiling by using his static cling. If they ever came even remotely close to this location they would get a zap by Static's homemade electric fence surrounding the inner chamber.
The fence was made from pure electricity and touching it resulted in a shock like a taser. Static was feeling uneasy but knew that he would be that last defense should they get around his fence he made. As for anything else any bad guys should run into there would be traps the guards helped Static make using his electricity. The traps were mostly electric themed or electric powered as the guards had no time to make anything else. As he heard another piece of glass fall to the ground outside the fenced area it was clear that someone was here.
"Looks like they got past the guards rather easily, I guess that makes my job that much harder."
Static was still clinged to the ceiling and would only come down if they got past his fence. Because if they did someone get past the fence they would already be near the inner chamber of which Static could see through all ends from the ceiling. "I guess i should be glad they didn't hire me for cleanup duty." Static chuckled to himself.
The window wasn't too far off the ground, however it would require some type of super ability to get into from his position on the ground. Seeing as he was no Spider Man, climbing in was not an option. However, cautious as he'd been taught, he reached a hand toward the wall and watched when a small spark crackled between his glove and the wall. Pulling the hand away, he looked back at the window and took a step back. Through the broken glass he could see the roof of the building. If his assumption was right, only the exterior of the building was electrified.
With a smirk plastered beneath that skull mask of his, he grabbed his grappling gun and aimed it at the inside of the roof through the window, pleasantly surprised when his assumption was correct. A click of a button and the anti-hero found himself being pulled into the warehouse by the grappling gun, only to drop off just after he'd made it past the window. This was easy. Too easy. It was just a gut feeling but something told him to be on edge. Likely, there was a trap ready to spring from somewhere and yet he wanted to spring that trap.
After all, what's a good heist without some fun?
Instead of going straight for the device itself, he decided to hit the more sensitive part of the building. His goal being to extract the data for it and destroy the data first. That way, regardless of what happens, there will only be one. He made his way swiftly over to where he knew the data would be stored, the darkness blending with his suit to almost be invisible, but not quite.
Static felt uneasy as he noticed the would-be robber of these specs was not heading in his direction. He could tell as soon as the traps started to activate which they did and he hoped they made it out alive at least but not enough to try to steal the visor still. As one would expect from a array of traps near the area where the plans were one step on any of the floor panels directly linked to the array would set them in motion. Static could hear the sounds of them activating as one of the floor panels seemed to activate. In X's point of view the room would slightly brighten in terms of light but only because the walls around him in this room were aligned with small Arrow Cannons as each round would fire a thousand Fire Arrows that not only lit up the room but could possibly do damage to the intruder. If that wasn't enough for the intruder with another step forward would activate the tar pits on the floor which shallow in depth but is enough to slow down anyone who steps into them. Including the fact that if a arrow hits the tar it would be set the tar ablaze. Anyone foolish enough to get in the range of the Shock Turret which is placed on the ceiling to stun anyone that tries to go above the traps on the floor would get a nasty shock. But of course this was just one of two parts of the room that had traps in it which lead to the plans for the visor. As each room would be passed or not the technology and cruelty of each trap would get much worse which had Static feeling sorry for the intruder a bit. This was a mission though and Static had to see it through no matter what. If they made past all that they would come upon a large steel door acting as a huge wall to block off the next part of the room. No locks or fancy security on the wall itself, it was likely placed in a rush to block off the next part of the room.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
