IN THE EPIC BATTLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL
PICK A SIDE! >D
Okay, dramatics aside, we're officially axing the Metahuman category and changing the Civilian category to PROFESSIONALS. Now the only playable character classes are TITAN, VILLAIN, and PROFESSIONAL.
Why? You may find yourself asking. Well, it's all down to character leveling and interactions! We've come to the conclusion, after much debate, that the metahuman category and the civilian category weren't being used in the way they were intended. Which was, probably, because they were too vague. So, we're going back to basics.
QUICK CATEGORY OVERVIEW
TEEN TITANS - this is self-explanatory. If your character is a hero they must be affiliated with the Teen Titans.
VILLAIN - this is any metahuman that commits any sort of crimes on a regular basis. This ranges from mega-villains with Slade-status (like Slade himself) to petty thieves, and gang members. Anti-hero characters are also in this group because they are unpredictable and they do commit crimes. Your character does not have to identify as a villain to be one. Their affiliation as a villain is based solely on the actions your characters take. A lovable criminal is still a criminal in the eyes of the law.
PROFESSIONALS – These characters do not have any powers, but their training and skills that make it so that they are able to interact and survive in the city of Jump. What sort of characters do we suggest?: Police officers, fire men, private detectives, reporters, the mailman. All of these characters have a vital role to society that can sometimes have them working with the Titans, or interacting with villains. We suggest adult characters, because they have the most potential for plots, but you are more than welcome to make a teenager.
Those of you who's characters will have to change categories will be notified via PM. For everyone else, this is just a change to note. Let us know if you have any questions!
