Drabbles~

I’ve been stuck in a writing rut and I’ve decided to drabble, and invite you guys to do the same. Drabble is like a small fic, usually just a scene or whatever (I’m really not picky on technicality, as you can see XD) and you write it out. I don’t know if you guys have this, but sometimes I have all these scenes and ideas in my head that I know I’ll never write a full fic about, but I probably can’t roleplay it either, but I still want to share/write out anyways. It’s just pure fun and I don’t have to stress where it is going and what I’m doing. I will probably do some next gen stuff with Mar’i because I’m sorry, but my muse is so with that character and I like the challenge of trying to flesh her out; Damian too because I love that jerk and I want to get a feel for his character as I write an actual fic for the two of them. So yeah! Here ya go, the crazy ideas that flit through my brain. It really is just whatever scenes come into my head so don’t expect quality work here. It’s just for the sake of writing it out. That doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it or be like “Elena, you ruined my beloved characters please keep this in mind” GO AHEAD. ;D My ego can take it.

Game
“Um… Fly! Flap? No? Uh… Bird? Plane?” The leader guessed, wracking his brain for the answer.
“Monkey! It has to be a monkey.”
“For the last time, Beast Boy it is NOT a monkey.” Raven grit out, touching her hand to her temple as she slouched against the couch.
“Then it’s a NINJA!”
Raven facepalmed beside him.
“Come on guys, my arms are getting tired here.” Cyborg complained.
“Shh. You’re not supposed to talk.” Robin shushed, all serious faced as he tried to figure out what his partner was doing. Starfire had her arms out, while beside her Cyborg was doing something similar. There was a scoreboard behind them where the uneven team was divided two and three—they figured whatever team Beast Boy was on deserved three and Robin liked the challenge anyway.
“OH! It’s one of those water ski things! No? Sound like… floor? Here? No? Dude, WHAT IS IT?”
“Whose bright idea was it to play charades again?”
“Oh it was my idea friend Raven! I have never played before.”
“Starfire, shhh.”
“Forgive me Robin. I am doing the ‘be quiet’ now.” She ‘zipped’ her lips and continued her previous action.
“Someone is taking this game a little too seriously…” Raven glanced over, and then hopelessly asked “Can’t we just call it a tie?”
“Never.”
Kenni is amazing

Band-aid
It started out as a joke; a silly comment on the fact that their medical supplies were superior to what was out there on the market. They had to have quality supplies, being superheroes who got more scrapes, burns, and bruises, and the occasional gaping wound than the average consumer. Raven’s healing abilities only went so far, and that was on the condition the empath had enough energy after a fight. They had to have a well stocked infirmary with the very best, and that meant that sometimes they made their own brand of stuff.
It wasn’t difficult or out of the question. Cyborg was resident technician and creator, and with some spare parts and material he could create a space ship, a tower, a car, and anything else that was needed. Starfire surprisingly had a great knowledge of chemistry, and the two talked polymers over breakfast like they were discussing brands of coffee. They could all tell the difference when they had to settle for store bought.
Robin said it just casually; if they sold this stuff he was sure the citizens would appreciate having something that didn’t fall off a mere hour after it was applied. ‘This’ being the pack of bandages he was stocking. Beast Boy was the one who grabbed onto the idea, whirling around and laughing.
“Dude, we can put our faces on it! Everyone would want to buy them, It would be like our own superhero merchandise and that would be some extra cash on the side to buy a sweet moped--or the new Assassin Ninja collector’s edition!”
While there was no way they were about to sell out for some extra money on the side, they at least got a small chuckle out of the idea, and even moreso when Cyborg actually went ahead and put pictures on one of the new boxes. Each of the five had their own: green, blue, red, purple and orange, as well as some together team. Even Raven, though she rolled her eyes at BB’s insistence she put on one of his (not gunna happen, so she told the quickly deflated boy), thought it was kinda cute.
So they used them every now and again even if it was only meant as a reminder of that one joke they made, it admittedly became a little endearing. Starfire most unabashedly loved to wear the ones of her friends and would perhaps have the tendency to use more than she needed. Ah no, a paper cut! Better put one on each finger to be safe! Beast Boy would gladly stick anyone with his if he was assisting, though that was with limited success when it came to the two irate birds on the team. Cyborg being the one who made them and possessing a healthy sense of humour, wore them with pride.
Robin on the rare occasion would be in good humour enough to stick a generic Teen Titan one if he had a minor scratch, like when Red X managed to nick his jaw with a projectile. What no one would know was the one time he got grazed by a dagger aimed at his chest, he put the one of Starfire over his heart in a hidden gesture of sentiment. He put his shirt right over so as to avoid the endless teasing he would undoubtedly get if anyone found out.
What took the cake was when Raven walked into the common room one day, and there on her pale cheek was a green band-aid with Beast Boy’s grinning face. They all looked at her, intrigued that she actually would, and none looking so pleased and taken than the green skinned boy himself. He knew she couldn’t resist that face! “…We ran out of all the rest.” She informed them, pulling her hood as she fought down the embarrassment.
