Sun:
The star-girl nodded to Robin's orders. "Going blue giant." It was a rather unstable stellar form, but hopefully she wouldn't need to keep it for very long. Closing her eyes and focusing, Sun turned the plasma around her a vibrant, deep blue. The star also expanded drastically while gaining more and more mass. It required most of the mutant's attention to grow her star and not burn anything. She gave a burst of light to release some pressure.
She was only half-way finished when Robin's counter-orders came. "What?" Sun asked, confused eyes opening up in the process. With a horrified stare, she watched as her friend's summon got badly injured and then thrown like a discarded toy. Grinding her teeth, she felt the anger surge in herself too. This accelerated her transformation, to the point where her star was pulsing dangerous heat-waves within the next seconds.
"Ink. Ian." She said with clenched fists. "Get out of the way." She wanted to charge now. The sun-girl was at her hottest point. She was angry and not sure she could keep perfect control. There would be collateral damage.
"Here I come!" And with that, the blue giant moved ahead. It wasn't particularly fast. Nor did it have any threathening spikes, tusks or other edges. But Fran was now heavier than a stone mansion and a few hundred thousand degrees hotter.
Things were about to get vaporized.
Tsukihime:
The Monares woman respectfully took a step back as the Titan's leader asked her to get out of the way. She watched as Ink summoned a Beast in her rage. Are the two linked? The dream weaver tried to recall her encounter with the Titan. The tusked monster charged Disgaia. Tsukihime gave a gasp as the dust lifted. In the meantime cogwheels turned in her busy mind. I'll have to dream-weave myself to remember exactly if she explained it to me.
As the dust settled, the actress gave her best shocked expression. The tusks of Ink's monster were brutally broken as the stone serpent underwent yet another transformation. In the mean time, she noticed the pyrokinetic titan preparing for some large attack.
And then the serpent boy came to calm down Ink. She payed close attention to this one. Is he my ally, or an obstacle? In the background, the elephant-like beast was thrown into the air, crashing impressively into a building. Tsukihime started moving forward, sensing she needed to diffuse the situation. Get her mad Disagaia, but don't kill the girl! The little artist had not been part of any plan of theirs, but Tsukihime wanted to play the situation to her advantage. Which meant keeping the Titan alive.
At the same time, the star-like girl moved. Creating a simple sphere, Tsukihime rushed ahead on her smaller vessel of light, to the titan couple standing between the two impressive forces of nature. The moon sphere turned intangible just enough to let Ink and her serpentine friend through, then shrunk to offer maximum protection to its three inhabitants.
The star-girl passed through them, ramming the sphere but not burning it. Tsu barely had time to note the oddity as her protective sphere crashed into a building.
Gordon:
"Three. Three buildings already destroyed ladies and gentlemen." Gordon Godfrey waved his hand angrily behind him."All that to discover that this isn't even the real Naga." The camera focused on the stone-monster's new form. It bellowed so loudly that they could catch every word. The only other person's words the cameras caught as clearly was Ink, when she yelled Scottish insults. "What great detective work indeed." The camera just gave a blind flare after Sun's pulse of light. "And things are still heating up Folks." The camera returned to normal.
In the mean time, Gordon was trying hard to spin his narrative. The monster that identified itself as not Naga had given them a puzzling set of information. It was always possible to claim he lied, of course. After all, who knew which conspiracy the Titans were hiding.
But then, a more logical pattern of thought emerged in the reporter's mind. And like all mad men, the problem was that he believed what he was about to say. "Have you heard the Beast's request?" He exclaimed. "It wants Naga. Jump city seems to have been chosen as the arena for two monsters to settle their differences." At the taxpayer's expenses. But Gordon didn't need to spell that one out. His audience was smart enough. "And he claims the other monster is hiding!" Was he hiding on his own, or being helped by someone? Gordon would have to do some thorough detective work.
Then the star-girl made her move. But Gordon's eyes were set on the smaller sphere of white light crashing into another building. "Four!"
