After all that has happened the last few days, Maggie had fallen into a funk. She became paranoid and jumpy, looking over her shoulder as though expecting to see someone there. She didn't know who she was expecting, perhaps Nos with his oh so delightful giant gun or Brock with his demon form. She wasn't sure how Brock was going to react to her giving up the dagger and was a little unsure of what he would do. She was confused and frightened, which may be why she was doing retail therapy at the moment.
Maggie was dressed not in one of her usual dresses but in dark-wash, bootcut jeans with a fitted button-up top and a lightweight jacket in a pretty shade of soft green. With sleek chocolate brown wedges and a matching purse large enough to hold all her essentials as well as a delicate charm necklace, Maggie was simple and refined, looking like your average girl. Which, in many ways, Maggie was. It was just the whole omnilingualism that kept her from being considered normal but compared to other metahumans she was relatively normal.
She carried a few shopping bags with her, having already brought a few things that had popped out to her. This included some dresses and really cute shoes, though in one of the bags there was a camera bag and her new camera, because why not? Photography may be something she likes, though for now it was for her to see if she was good at it.
Should probably call Kaie later, tell her that any and all possibilities of double dates with Brock are now, officially, over. Maggie thought, frowning at the idea as she flipped her brown, curled hair over her shoulder and out of her face as she looked around the shop she was currently in, browsing for something to catch her eye.
