And another newbie joined! Kaie hadn't seen this guy before, but he seemed like a bit of a rebel. Not a lot of people had the stones to come into class still wearing headphones. Kaie couldn't hear whether he still had music on, but the headphones alone were a bold gesture. She might have to take notes, she'd been trying to be more cool and rebellious lately.

Kaie choked back a laugh at Alex's idea. Unless Starfire was on the cheer squad, she was pretty sure she was doomed to be on the bottom forever. "Yeah, I kinda figured that. Maybe I could be the whole base for the pyramid, that'd be cool." Kaie could picture it now. She was strong enough that She'd have no trouble with a bunch of girls standing on her outstretched arms, and she could hold that pose for a while. This would certainly give them some new options.

Oh wow, a band! Kaie wished she could participate, that sounded pretty rad. Sadly, it seemed impossible. "Nah, they don' really make any instruments in my size." She was pretty sure the only instruments she could even operate would be percussion, and with her strength she'd probably break them. She'd caused enough damage playing air drums, the real things would be a catastrophe.

While trying to pay attention in class and keeping a close ear on the gossip conversation. Wait, the lecturer just mentions SAT! And this was an SAT class! She was either in the wrong class or she has to take on SAT (again) to enter the Senior year. Either way both wasn't good.

She seriously needs to a good-and-huge distraction right now.

And fate was kind enough to answer it. Soon, a new cute student enters the classroom. Carrying a rebellious personal around him. Too bad, he was way younger than she was. If he wasn't, she had no problem flirting with him...after class.

And did somebody say a band?

"OOH, can I come too? I play the a little violin, piano and expert in cello." She turns to the 3 girls behind her "We could so totally be the next Lindsey Starling or Organ Guys?" She then froze when she realized just rudely put herself into a conversation...without being invited.  

Talk about awkward. Can somebody just kill her now?

"Aha.. ha...ha..." She lets out a nervous laugh. "I'm kinda have a think for music and band stuff... " It was one of her bucket list.

Thankfully, the teacher decided to let Dar off this time, and so the boy went to his seat, not before taking a look around the class and noticing... well, a rather large girl in the back. Well, that was unusual, but hey, Jump City was full of mutants. Heck, even Dar himself had his magic powers, even though he kept them secret. Aside from her, he also noticed two rather cute girls he hadn't really seen in school before, and hey, one of them was talking to the "witch". There was an awful lot of rumors surrounding that girl. Not that any of those mattered much, because there was an awful lot of rumors surrounding him too, to the point where nearly everyone in school thought he was a dangerous gangster or a drug overlord or whatever. They seemed to think that to be in that school, a person needed to be BIG in whatever they did... little freaks.

Though seeing her talking to someone else helped something click in his mind. He had been trying to figure out how his healing worked, or if it was even healing. Ever since the incident with the SUPR, that had been floating around in his mind... mostly because he could still feel a bit of pain in his rib. Friggin' lizard dude. Either way, he needed to know his his... healing magic worked, and maybe the witch could help him. If she really was a witch, that's it. He'd have to make sure later. Not now, however, since shortly after sitting down, the cute girl that was talking to the cute witch asked about instruments and a band, and the other cute girl interrupted them, and then the cute giant said something about no huge instruments. ANYWAYS, Dar quickly turned to the blonde girl, adding his own two cents.

"I'm the best guitarist you could get in this school-no, in this town, yo. I was playing in the Lesser Evil, but we broke up last week. Singer was a douche, anyways."

He talked, suddenly forgetting about the class. Not that he would be paying much attention either way. The witch added her two cents, and Dar felt it was his duty as a veteran to correct her.

"Yo, friendly advice, the band club is wack. Guys there got no feeling, they're like robots playing, you know? No soul. And... Organ Guys? Can't we be the next Led Zep or something like that?"

He scratched his head, suddenly realizing that in a rush to find a new band and go back to playing, he probably got himself into a group of players that would rather play Mozart than Van Halen. Curse the effect the word "band" had on him... either way, he turned to Alex, gesturing to ger her attention, then saying in a low voice:

"By the way, I gotta talk to you later."

Charlie laughed at Alex’s comment about scrawny cheerleaders. The picture of a them trying to hold up Kaie was quite the comical image. But having Kaie at the bottom would be a great idea! They could make one heck of a pyramid and the tosses would be amazing! When Alex mentioned a band club Charlie grinned and was about to say something when the girl in front of her decided to jump into the conversation after Kaie’s statement of instruments not being her size. Well this was a pretty good turn out! It was even better when the late boy turned and said he was a guitarist. First day of school and she already had some possible band members.

“Oh wow this is awesome!” She smiled brightly. Charlie looked at the brown haired girl in front, Kimber was it? “All three of those are great! But I agree with this guy on sound,” she glanced over at the late boy. In that glance she noticed his rather odd cat-like eyes, they were pretty and pretty cool. “Maybe a little softer than Zeppelin but still a rock and roll quality. I’m great at guitar and vocals, might even steal that self-title from you.” She said with a small challenging smirk pointed at they cat-eyed boy. 

“Anyway I’ve heard some pretty good uses of violin and cello in rock music and those piano skills much needed. Seriously I don’t mind if someone knows only a few chords I just think if we gather people with some musical skill we can learn as we go.” Charlie looked at them all, her challenging smirk turning into a friendly smile. Then she looked up at Kaie, “Oh and if those cheerleaders don’t take you, a band is always in need of one.”

So potential band members? Check, well mostly. They would still need to find a drummer but so far Charlie was doing well on her first day of school! Next they needed a place to practice, preferably not her house since she was trying to keep the whole rich background thing secret, and a band name. “What should we be called? I mean, if you guys are in.”

And just like that, the new kids (and weird older-looking girl who was probably new because Alex had totes not seen her in or out of classes before, and Evil Knevil) were united. If she had a flare for the dramatic, she would have puffed her chest out and smiled proudly at the three of them, how they were chatting it up in the back of a boring elective class without a care for the teacher up front-- Like real pro students. It almost brought a tear to the eye (not really); Maybe next they'd figure out all the nooks and crannies of the school to hide away in when they didn't feel like going to class.

Speaking of ol' dark and evil, he chanced upon ordaining an audience with lil' old Alex, who, in quite obvious response, raised an eyebrow, and showed a bit of a grin. "Good luck with that, then," She noted sarcastically. There wasn't much of a 'later' for Alex; School was one of the only times she was let out of the house, and she didn't exactly 'walk' home; Agatha didn't trust her enough for that.

Charlie really seemed to be banding around this idea of putting together a band, funnily enough; Going so far as to accept 'violin' as a possible addition to her crew. It was, admittedly, kind of endearing to think of something like this coming together, and the teenage girl in Alex wanted to be a part of it, but knew she wouldn't be able to commit; Not outside of school hours anyway, and they'd need a lot more practice time than that. Besides, guitars aside the instruments she did play... weren't exactly for musical enjoyment. "Why not call yourselves The Reigndeer Gang?" Alex joked, crossing her legs.

Kaie listened intently as the trio talked shop. Well, talked music, but you know what she meant. This day just kept getting better. A band was being formed, right before her eyes. She would have to go to some of their shows once they got started. Sure, she'd have to sit in the back, but she'd have a good view anyway. It was one of the advantages of her power, nobody could ever block her view. That, and she could block all the view she wanted if she was feeling spiteful.

"This is gonna be great. I got dibs on show tickets, just so you know." Kaie whispered, giving a nervous glance to the front of the class. The teacher seemed to be just as bored to be there as his students were, and he was just ignoring them at this point. Kaie had heard rumors that he was planning to retire soon and had long since given up, so that made him perfect for a merry band of students like them.

She barely managed to stifle a laugh at Alex's suggestion. "One of ya gotta wear a red nose then. Like a clown, just not so scary." She wondered which of them would have to be Rudolph. Probably the lead singer, star of the show and all. Then, a thought occurred to her. "Ye should wear horns and be Charlie and the Unicorns. Or would that get ya in trouble?"
