Starfire may be an alien, but matters of fashion were becoming quite familiar to her. This was because she had been struck by the notion of gender-norms surrounding clothing, and in an effort to fit in had thrown herself into the world of magazines and female pop culture. It was just an amusing hobby, as the Tamaranean Princess could never really hold clothes to a high, material standard. She needn't get into her personal opinions on their hypocritical modesty policing, but for all it was Starfire was probably the most knowledgeable member of the team regarding feminine products, as well as being the least judgemental. Thus, there was minimal giggling--aside from her usual, infectious sort--as she helped zip up a corset on her leader.
"While you possess certain features that can help you pass for a woman, there is no denying you are male--with your broad shoulders and narrow hips," she informed, pleasantly and factually as she regarded the new shape now. People came in all bodyshapes and sizes, and there were certainly women out there who possessed the inverted triangle look that was usually reserved for a male. The challenge of passing as a beautiful woman for Robin was that his physique was well-defined. It was true, women could be just as muscular--Kory herself was very proud of her toned body and defined biceps, but the more...chiseled his muscular physique was, the more he took on a male shape, and less of a civillian female he'd look. Fortunately! The corset helped give him a waist, and would smooth the appearance of the abdomen. He did not have a bulky frame at least (actually, he had been accused of being 'scrawny'), and his shoulders weren't the broadest among males. She was confident she could help him achieve a feminine look, once he got into his new clothes!
Which she had to turn around for while he put on. When she turned back around, she was thrilled to see how well it worked. His choice of dress, with the padded bra, and the appropriate-style for his 'feminized' body really did make him look like a girl, and that wig! She could hardly recognize him as Robin. Most wonderous of all was the lack of a mask. For the first time, she saw his eyes and brows--both dark, and his whole face came together. She couldn't know, of course, that his eyes were actually blue, so to her it felt like he was being revealing for the first time, and it was sweet.
It was not the way she had pictured them bonding with the mask off, but it was enough to make her happy. She took his hand and led him to her vanity. "Do not worry, Robin, I am quite good at this." She was confident in her ability to make his face appear softer, and it was certainly easy to apply simple, rather than the more glamorous, dramatic shades she had tried on herself. She applied powdered foundation with a brush--picked out for his skin colour, not hers--and she had already decided pink lip gloss would go perfectly. "Compared to most men... you have a slightly androgynous face..." she mused, not at all demeaning about it. Unintentionally, her eyes kept darting to his, because she was looking straight into them. "This works to your advantage. I am sure you will woo your target into telling everything, I just hope you do not come to be wooed yourself..." her eyebrows drew together.
Control Freak was not a suitable match at all.
