[1] Post quickly and efficiently: the Hunger Games dragged like a wounded lioness. Hogwarts will not. If you do not respond within a week your turn will be skipped and you will have to wait to catch back up.
[2] Follow posting order: You always post after the same person, unless a new person jumps ahead of you, in which case you will switch to always posting after them. If you plan on skipping a post, let the person behind you know asap.
[3] Joining: If you are not jumping in at the very beginning, you must at least skim the thread so you know what is going on. Please join as if your character has been there the entire time, but simply hasn't kicked up a fuss or whatever. The rest of us will play along and assume your character has been there from the beginning. There are no new trains to Hogwarts, however.
[4] Follow character classes: Teen Titans are students. Civilians/others/not-titans-but-not-villains may join as hostages and can be brainwashed or not. Villains are professors/staff/positions of power (example, teen villains can be Prefects, Head Boy/Girl, ect). If you don't know where your character fits, ask.
The School: I want you to imagine the Hogwarts from the books and then fill it with a whole bunch of pop culture references and hynoscreens. Honestly, you can go pretty wild describe the mad MODifications done to the basic concept of Hogwarts. It still has the basic components though: each house has a common room, and two dorms one for boys, and the other for girls. There's a library, great hall, classrooms of all shapes and sizes, and plenty of hallways to wander through. The purpose of the school is to educate the Titans on villainy with the eventual goal of converting them to the dark side. Because, obviously, freezing them all didn't work.
House Points: House Points wouldn't mean anything to the Titans if there was nothing at stake, so guess what? The points are equivalent to hostages. When the Titans first arrive at the school it will be with a large number of random people used as hostages. These hostages are hypnotized to think that all of this is perfectly normal. Each night the hostages go to the chamber of secrets and in the house dorms the Titans have to watch the hostages they are responsible for be frozen using the Brotherhood of Evil's freeze machine (lost point = petrified person). For every point gained they get un-petrified and released back into the populous until those points are lost again (gained point = getting people back). So, if the Titans are being particularly "bad" then the classes and hallways are going to be rather empty.
Magic?: Beyond the magic that some of the Titans are able to do there is no actual magic in our version of Hogwarts. Most everything is Mad Mod robotics, including the wands. The wands themselves are not magical. They do, however, have a tracking device and proximity detector inside them. This allows the students to open doors and use the moving staircases. The moving paintings are also not magical. They have a stare detector, so you have to be careful not to look at them for too long or they'll turn into a hynoscreen.
Plot: The plot will not activate right away, but it will soon~ The use of superpowers (unless something better pops up IC) has been forbidden by Mad Mod, the headmaster, so the Titans must form a secret society to continue practicing what they are best at. Dumbledore's Army parody anybody? ;D
Character Classes
Teen Titans: the Teen Titans are the primary students at this mock Hogwarts. They will be forced to take classes, and are generally encouraged to be evil. At the end of the day they are forced to watch the civilians they failed to save get frozen every night, and the ones they saved be unfrozen.
Villains -TEEN: hold positions of power within the student body. These are primarily head boy/girls or prefects. You guys get to patrol at night and just in general try to get the Titans into trouble. They can only subtract points from your own house. In order to get people into more trouble, you'll have to report it to a professor.
Villains - ADULT: the adult villains are professors. Villains can teach whatever pops up in their delightful little noggins. Remember, however, the school is set up so that one is encouraged to be evil. So helping someone out would be unfavorable. Make it so the Titans have to be evil or else they keep losing points. They also have the authority to remove or add points to any house. They can also punish students with more then just point subtraction. Detention, anyone? >D
Civilians and everyone else: If your character doesn't fit into any of the categories above you are still encouraged to join! However, your character becomes a sort of fodder. We ask that they be initially brainwashed into thinking they're actually going to Hogwarts and that everything is perfectly normal. Eventually, you can have your character break out of the hypnotized spell, but at first it's important they're hypnotized. Also, because your character is a student but not a Titan, they are eligible to be frozen as a part of the house point punishment explained above. In order to be frozen, contact a mod and declare you volunteer as tribute~

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
