It wasn't an uncommon thing to find Raven heading for the Tower library, a book in hand, or one tucked under her arm, or perhaps a few stacked in both arms. That's where she was now, heading down the hall, having just exited the elevator that got her there. She made her way all the way to the door and halfway through it before stopping short.
She wasn't alone in the library today. Odd. Most of the Titans were much more interested in comic books, video games, movies, eating, training, sleeping, or pretty much anything that didn't end them up in the library on a warm and sunny day as today. But apparently at least one other Titan shared Raven's interest.
She could tell by the silver hair flowing down the girl's back that it was SilverWing who sat with her back to the door, studying a book that Raven couldn't yet see. The words the other girl mumbled in a whisper of concentration left Raven cocking her head to the side curiously. They sounded like spells. Was that Latin...?
Walking into the room and coming up beside the girl, Raven looked down at the page and said, "Interesting choice of recreational reading. What is it?"
OoC: So I just assumed some stuff, that SilverWing would be sitting there reading. If I need to change ANYTHING, let me know and it'll be done! ^____^
Silverwing a.k.a Kimber Fowl is stuck in the Titans Tower, library on such a wonderful sunny weekend. Surrounded with every book on Latin that the Titans library has to offer. Even Latin for dummies. Instead, hanging out or partying like other regular teens would do on a weekend. She decided to take the down time to...(dramatic pause) STUDYING.
Studying?!
Well, that kinda sounds like a real drag, doesn't it? Well, it does. Especially when you are trying to understand another foreign language. Written in a reallllyy...realllly tinny tiny small handwriting. That you need a special reading glasses that act as a magnified telescope to even read it. If only the Book of Silver has a built in Google Translator or something. That would so totally help her evolve to become a better magic user, and understand the heck what her ancestor was trying to explain.
Taking off her reading glasses (in a the most dramatic fashionable way). She tilted her chair back, and started to rock it, back and forth. Distracted. She fails to sense another presence in the room. Enough for them to creep up behind her and scare the living daylight out of her.
Or catch her, embarrassing herself.
Like, catching her to yell (out loud) 'Mummy'. As she falls off her chair (hard), before a mountain of (big and heavy) books comes crashing showering down on her.
In other words, a worthy stun of laugh for the YouTube
OCC: Nah, its prefect!

Raven blinked in surprise, not at all expecting Silverwing to fall from her chair. It was something Beast Boy might've done, in a most epic fashion, but then, maybe that was the problem with rocking chairs back onto two legs.
Her surprise lasted maybe a second or two before it was replaced with a cringe as the books also made their grand way off the table. A moment or two of warning and Raven might've caught all of them. As it was, she was left with only two hovering in a telekinetic glow. Replacing them safely back to the table and crouching to move the others from the young Titan, Raven offered her a hand. She watched the girl from any sign of injury, scanned for any hint of pain, and then spoke.
"Apologies, Silverwing.... Are you okay? I didn't mean to scare you."
Silverwing puts her arms over her face and close her eyes. Bracing herself for a heavy blow and impact to her angelic face. She prays the damage wasn't too extend. Mumbling a pray in between. She waited and waited and ....nothing happen. Until she heard Raven voice....
Opening her eyes and arms. She looks to see...well, Raven.
"Raven?! Oh Hi...Raven?! You are Raven, right?! Wait! Of course, your Raven!!" Um, maybe she should let the book face palm instead...or should she say face book her. Get it?
*plays comedy drum rolls*
Yeah, not that funny. Meh, at least she tries. "Oh yeah, I'm fine..." While she mentally kicked herself for acting like a doofus. "Nah, I think it was my fault for not kinda...paying attention around me..." Was that even counted as an excuse? Well, she guesses it couldn't hurt. Seeing how she already humiliated herself three times over in front of Raven.
What else could go wrong?
As she took Raven hand and got up. Forgetting. She still has her headphone down around her neck with adapter jack to her phone, and the moment she got up. The wire got pull. Dragging and dropping her phone on the floor. Un-jacking itself from her headphone adapter. Playing loud classical orchestral music in the suppose to be quiet library. By instinct, she quickly kneel down to the ground and under the table to retrieve her phone and shut it up. Without thinking and already humiliated more than once, she just got up. Forgetting she was under the table...some sort and hit her head under the table. Dropping several book about Latin Language, including her Book of Silver to Raven feet.
Wincing in pain. She mumbles, she just had to say it. Didn't she?
(Sorry abt the sketching grammar. Didn't had time to double check. I'll update them later >.>)
Raven frowned in amused confusion, not entirely sure how to answer the girl. Yes, she was Raven.... "Is there another Raven I should know about?" she asked with just a hint of humour in her voice. "Are you sure you're okay?"
The girl continued on, about how she should pay attention, about how it was her fault, though Raven disagreed. And then her thoughts were interrupted completely by the loud melody of a talented orchestra. Raven startled, not at all expecting to hear the oboe singing to her, but she recovered quickly and realized where the sound came from. It was beautiful, really. Raven appreciated a well-written symphony as much as the next classically trained music fan, and she opened her mouth to say such, but SilverWing was one step ahead of her.... Diving under the table to retrieve the phone and then attempting to stand underneath it.
A loud thump! sounded in the otherwise quiet library and Raven winced in sympathy, bending to peer beneath the table. "SilverWing, are you okay?" she asked for a third time, feeling a bit bad that the girl managed to hurt herself so many times in the last five minutes.
The books SilverWing had been holding went skidding across the floor when the girl's head made contact with the wooden table, and Raven glanced down at the one closest to her. She lifted it up to meet her hands telekinetically, and then gazed at the title for a few moments before glancing back at SilverWing.
"The Book of Silver, huh? Sounds interesting." She waited for the silver-haired heroine to emerge from under the table before continuing. "What's it about?"
OoC: So sorry this took me so long, Feathers. Thanks for being patient with me. C: Merry Christmas!
"Um, yeah....Just my ego is bruise..." Silverwing replies.Mentally kicking herself. Embarrassing herself twice in front of Raven in the same day, the same hour and the last 30 minutes. Her day was certainly going. Not. Hey, if her superhero thing doesn't work out. Maybe she could try comedy. Sarcastically she though. Rubbing her painful head, which didn't hurt as much as her pride and ego. She looks up to Raven and was stun. Her jaws drop when she saw Raven hands on the Book of Silver and opening.
"How did you...you...can touch or open it!? Without getting hurt or blasted?" The Book of Silver, is magical tome of the Fowl Line of Witches. That it is tied very closely to the Fowl powers. That her ancestor casts a spell on the book. Protecting and shielding that evil could never lay it hands on. "No one can open that book. Well, except me...and that what I was told..." She gasped when the choker sapphire gem around her neck. Started to glow. Along with the Book of Silver. Taking a life of its own. It started to flip its own page. "Okay, that never happen before...Okay, sometimes but not with someone present. What it trying to say?" She stood beside Raven and say. "Oh..." It stopping at an illustration of a mother and daughter, where the mother was teaching her daughter about their gifts, including about the Book of Silver secrets and spells. The illustration was a symbol how the Fowl legacy with continued on by the next generation and how the book would also be their guide and teacher. The illustration was painful reminder to Silverwing. One obvious reason. It reminded her about not having her mother around with her now and how much she sucks at spell casting. She hasn't even crack the surface of the Book of Silver secret. Yes, the book didn't had exactly 101 chapter and explanation to about it. She was completely own her to find that out things the hard way. There this one time, she casted a spell and it backfire onto her. Making her talk gibberish for a week.
But...wait a minutes. What was the Book of Silver trying to her...to tell them?

Raven glanced away from the tome's cover long enough to look at SilverWing in surprise. Obviously she was holding the book and still living and breathing. She hadn't been adversely affected in the least, but Silver's reaction led Raven to believe this was incredibly surprising for her. SilverWing confirmed this by stating that she was the only one who should be able to open or even touch the book.
But that just made it that much more intriguing. Was it magically bound? Was it cursed or had SilverWing herself attempted to lock the book with a spell against strangers' eyes? Raven looked back to the cover, searching for a clue to her questions, but the Book of Silver had other ideas.
It began flipping through its own pages as Raven held it in her hands, and the empath glanced up at SilverWing at the mention of this happening before to her. Interesting, indeed.
The book stopped on a page with an illustration of what Raven assumed was a mother and daughter studying their magic together and Raven gazed at the picture intently. SilverWing's question hung in the air. What was the book trying to say? There was obviously an answer on the book's page, but Raven was not acquainted with this particular novel's words, and she sort of doubted that the book was speaking to her specifically anyway. She turned her violet eyes away from the picture and looked at her teammate.
"You're the most familiar with this book, and you say it's happened before?" Raven offered the book out a little to SilverWing, to let her better see the picture it'd chosen to show. "You'd speak its language, then, better than I. What do you think it's telling you, SilverWing?"
Silverwing took the Book of Silver from Raven hands. She examined the picture for a moment. Wondering what those things all means? Like, why did the Book of Silver open itself to Raven? Didn't her mother and ancestor make it clear to her? Only the female lineage who carries the blood of the Fowl could open it and read it. Anyone who isn't a lineage to Fowl, the book would appear to them as a empty page or protect itself from threats by blasting them away infinity. Thank X'Hal that didn't happen to Raven. She would have a hell of alot explaning to do as apologies while praying she doesn't get kick from the Titans team fro that.
And why on earth, did it stopped at the mother and daughter illustration? Painted by one of her late ancestor who was a beautiful talent. Using her brush for an art. Well, two obvious thing was. Raven isn't her mother. Sarcastically to explain. Raven is 16 and she (Silverwing) is 18. Big obvious age gap there and they don't looks or resemble one another. Thought she does secretly wished she has Raven raven dark colour hair.
Get it? Okay, joke aside.
Her sapphire choker started to glow fadedly. Given a fade glimmer in her emerald colour eyes. Feeling and hearing the thoughts in her hands. Confirming her second obvious thoughts.
"I...I think..." She held one hand to sapphire choker and looks to Raven. "You were meant...the book wanted you be my mentor. My teacher and my guide to magic..." The book put that words in her mouth.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
