Different patrol leaders did things their own way, but with Robin, he was the sort to send coordinates and a time to his teammates communicators and vanish if they did not get there before the appointed time. Some called him strict. Robin preferred pragmatic. He was waiting in the appointed spot, the end of a pier in view of the tower.
It was a nice place, and it had a great view of their home. Robin took a moment to enjoy the way the setting sun glinted off the windows of the tower. He ran mostly night patrols, and the in-between that was twilight was beautiful. But, to be honest, his favorite time of night was about three or four in the morning. When the robins sang.
The young leader had his feet dangled over the edge of the pier, his motorbike waiting on the other end near the road. The water swirled darkly a few feet below him, and a fine layer of salt had formed on his face, crusting slightly along his mask. It would itch later, but he didn't care about that. Right now he was waiting and pondering some recent cases.
They had ten minutes to get here or he was leaving without them.
A girl with flowing silver hair rushes down to the Jump City harbour. Running down towards one of the piers. That was facing towards an island, where a giant 'T' shape tower stands. A famous landmark that is known to all, as the base and main headquarters of the superhero teen fighting 'Teen Titans'.
As she reaches to the edge of the piers, she threw out several of her 'Silver Bells, and with a thought. It changes into a silver disk. Allowing their creator to hop on and glide (or fly) to her choice of destination.
"Of all the days...I had to be late today..." Silverwing started to mentally kick herself, as the sight of the 'T' shape tower becomes closer and closer. Today was a big day for her. Why? Well, it's not like every day you get to patrol with one of the main team members of the Teen Titans, especially Robin.
This was a big step up for her and an opportunity to prove her worth to Teen Titans. Who knows? She might lead a team or a mission one day. One could only hope.
Hopping off her silver disk and stepping one foot on the island. The silver disk returns to it original form. As their creator make a mad dash up the island hill and down to docks, where the leader of the Teen Titans, Robin awaits.
"I'M HERE!" Silverwing raises up her hands, as she runs towards him. "Am I late? I'm sorry if I am..." She stopped beside him panting. She knew Robin by reputation. In short, others dubbed him, Mr. Commandor Strict.

Batgirl usually ran patrols instead of joining others', but tonight she figured she might as well double up, planning on staying out well after Robin's patrol was over. It looked good for the team, anyways. Batgirl was often seen, or unseen, slinking away after dark and not returning until the early hours of the morning. So patrolling with team members was good.
Standing on top of a shipping crate, Batgirl watched the big ships bob in the waves. It was peaceful out here, she had to give it that. A little chilly with the wind coming in off the ocean, though. She could see Robin brooding down on the pier below, which was to be expected. She knew he was trying to break off from their former mentor's influence, but the likeness was unmistakable, no matter how much Robin would deny it. He really needed to lighten up. This team of his had proven very helpful in that area, especially when it wasn't all business. That smile sometimes seen in the tower was nowhere to be found tonight.
When Batgirl saw Silverwing arrive, she figured she should probably make an appearance. She had signed up for this patrol, after all. With a smile, she turned and ran the length of the crate, jumping off the end in a flip. When she landed, she jogged the short distance to her teammates. As she reached them, she cringed when Silverwing shouted. "Jeez girl, you might want to lower the decibel a notch or two. Everyone in the city will know we're here." She smiled at her, showing that she was really just teasing, but still serious. Shouting wasn't what they needed right now. Looking down at Robin, she gave him a playful nudge. "You can't believe how hard it is to ignore the temptation to knock you over the side here, Bird Boy."
Batgirl and Silvering arrived on time. Robin swung a leg up onto the pier, shifting his body to look up at them, but still letting one leg dangle above the water. Silverwing was making a great fuss, and Batgirl was teasing her about it. The young leader shook his head, puffing out air in amusement. And then Bat's mentioned knocking him off the side. He shot her a comical glare before getting to his feet and so she couldn't "accidentally" nudge him off the edge.
"Enough messing around," the boy ordered, but there was a lightness to his tone, and a soft smile to his lips. He obviously wasn't upset. He was just in Batman mode. "We've got work to do," he added as he started up the pier.
There were certain areas of Jump that required a more thorough investigation then some of the others. The warehouses that squatted around the pier were often used for nefarious purposes by villains and gangs alike It was a good place to hide stuff, especially since the wharves were always bustling with people. It was difficult to know whether it was legitimate or illegitimate business.
That was why the Titans patrolled this area. Robin took the lead along the seaslick wooden piers that served as streets down here. He wouldn't take to the roofs unless he had to. It was dangerous up there. He doubted they would apprehend any criminals. The Titans were mostly there so that everyone knew they were watching.
"It's been quiet here," Robin mused as they walked, his masked gaze swinging down every alleyway. He paused when he heard a noise, but it turned out to only be a rat. "They're probably planning something big."
Silverwing apologies to…BATGIRL?! Batgirl is here. She’s joining the team patrol? TODAY? Why didn’t anyone told her that she was coming? Why didn’t Robin told her Batgirl was coming? She could had done something with her hair, her outfit or SOMETHING?! Something really important?!
OMG!
‘Breathe, Kimber...Breathe...Remember to breathe’ She mentally told herself. ‘Clear your mind and stay calm. Do not let them smell your fear…’ Mentally encouraging herself
Two of the original Titans in the same patrol group. One of the many, two of the original Titans to please and prove her worth. Easy Peasy, right? Now, all she has to do is not screw up and make a fool of herself for the next 24 hours. No pressure, right?
“YES SIR!”
Annnnd It didn't take long to humiliate herself, when she started to salute herself to Commander Robin when he order them to move out. Talk about, ’What a way to start a patrol?’
Sigh!
But Silverwing quickly regains her composure and push her embarrassment moments aside. Knowing full well, there was no point crying over a spill milk. She needed to bulk up and get her head into the game. Putting on her Titans hat. She quickly started taking mental notes, from the senior Titans, the do’s and don’ts of becoming a hero. Beside, when will she ever get the chance to team up patrol with Robin and Batgirl?
Stopping dead in her tracks.
She stopped when she saw Robin stopped walking. Looking left and right. She wonders, what was he looking for? Or looking at? Did she miss something? Maybe a clue? and BANG! She froze, when she suddenly heard a noise. It didn't take long for wild thoughts and wild assumption to step in, in her head. Thinking. Wondering. Like, was it a villain? A super villain? or maybe a psycho villain? Oh wait, No! It was just a rat!. Scurring by.
RAT!?
And almost, by instinct, she wanted to jump into Robin arms (or somebody else), at the sight of the big-huge-fat-rat. What?! The rat was seriously freaking huge. Very huge. Sue her!.
She nervously snorted and lets out a sigh of relief when it only turned out to be…just a harmless rat.
Eww!!! Why does it had to be a rat?
Only to tense up again, two seconds later, when Robin say the enemies was probably plotting something.
“How do you know?” She asked. Was it probably the wind latitude?
Yes, it gotta be it.
OCC: Sorry for the earlier post, Silv. I completely misunderstood you when you say Robin was standing at the pier. I must have mis-read it and thought Robin was standing at the Titans island pier. Sorry about that. Dx

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
