When Cyborg saw he had been assigned with BB on the patrol to guide the newcomers, the large tin-man had the biggest grin on his face. It was a well known fact that patrols could be incredibly boring. They were necessary, as their leader preached and tried to convince himself of that matter too, but more often than not it was a drive around the city and nothing of interest to report. It was his job now to sufficiently warn the eager new faces not to get too hyped up about this. You weren't a Titan until you learned to get sick of patrols.
That wasn't true though; Starfire loved this sort of thing but she could fly. Some people were just better suited then others. In any case, having your best bro with you always helped make a boring thing awesome.
They decided to meet up at the Tower, in the large lobby. There they'd sync up and he could give the two gals a run-down of what was the plan for the next few hours. He'd already calibrated the security to let the two in from the front, so him and BB could just sit around and be lazy wait for them to show up. From there they could head to the garage and take the T-Car out for a ride.
He let out a big yawn and stretched.. “You ready for this, B-man?”
"I was born ready," Beast Boy replied, hopping over the back of the couch and acting like they weren't just going on an obnoxiously boring patrol. He saw Cyborg stretch and did likewise, lacing his fingers together in front of him and cracking the knuckles as he flexed his back.
"Where are we going tonight? Can we patrol that new vegan joint?" he inquired not-so-subtly. Truth was that he hadn't even known he was on patrol tonight until his communicator went off to "remind" him. He had no idea who he was going with and only assumed Cyborg was going because of what he just said.
If he wasn't patrolling, that would just be kind of embarrassing. He's made dumb mistakes like that before, even accidentally tagging along on patrols it turns out he wasn't actually assigned to.
I should proooobably start checking the schedule, he thought.
Diction was beyond ability for Stephanie as she stared up at the blue and silver building towering over her head in the shape of a T. It was her first time getting to go inside the tower. Typically Barbara wouldn't allow her to do training here since there was a chance Robin could spot her and their whole arrangement would be discovered, but Robin was out for the time being and this was gonna be real quick, so a compromise was arranged. Couldn't be a proper trainee without going on at least ONE (if not more) patrol right? All she was here for was to meet up with Cyborg, Beast Boy, and the other new recruit to set out on a patrol in the T-Car. ("Er. Mher. Geeeeersh... T-Cer") Of course, that was the plan on paper. Stephanie had a couple... detours to take care of while she was about. Namely looking at every single room she could in the tower and initiating a rivalry that members of the Gaming Nation Forums have been begging for for years.
You see, Spoiler was not Stephanie's only alter ego. She was also known as cluekid2577, her username on the Gamestation Network where she held numerous records for the Gotham City and New Jersey region in all sorts of games. She even had a national record somewhere in there. A constant thorn to many of her national records was none other than Cyborg though, and she was going to see to it that it was asserted who was the dominant gamer in Jump City while she was around. A bit of a strange way to do it, but what could she do? The electro-man was hard to get ahold of and if the Titan patrols were anything like her personal patrols, there'd be time to broach the subject.
Taking a deep breath through her face mask first, Stephanie swallowed her nervousness and stepped into the tower, the doors analyzing her and opening with a clean 'swoosh' after a second. ("Ser ceeeerl.") Mixed with her amazement seeing the opening hallway, was the disappointment to realize most of the doors were locked. So much for exploring. At least she got to see the common room. She stepped into the elevator that screamed 'Use me to get around!' all over it and looked through the buttons on the panel. Again, many restricted buttons lit up in red, but the big C and L buttons were a nice white color. Steph was tempted to hit the C button and see what that led to, but they'd know she was lurking about if she used this thing, so Stephanie pressed the L, and watched it light up sending the shaft to life. She stood there nervously scratching her wrist as she felt gravity push from below here as nervousness set in. What if Cyborg wanted to eliminate her from the competition? Should she mention it after all? What if Beast Boy was even better but never registered? WHAT IF THEY TEAMED UP ON HER?
The doors opened and blew the questions out of her mind. Before her was the enormous Titans lobby room which left her in wonder of what else lurked in the superhero complex. Her heart raced as she saw the half man-half machine head of Cyborg and the ostentatious green of Beast Boy. Meeting Robin 1 and Batgirl was pretty nerve-wracking but she had same home advantage with them. No such luck with these two, she was filled with nerves to the brim as she shakily stepped towards the couch where the two were chatting. Quietly, she raised up a greeting. "Hey there, I'm the Spoiler, I'm uh, kind of new with the Titans... sort of." It came out as quiet as a dropped pin. They didn't hear her. That wasn't going to do. "Get ahold of yourself Stephanie, you're a SUPERHERO! You need to be BRAAAAAAAVE," she coached herself. She clenched her fists and tried again. "HEY THERE, I'M THE SPOILER AND I'M HERE TO KICK BUTT!" she half-yelled, filling the entire room with her sound. "... Too brave Steph."
Relax. It shouldn't be so bad. Its just a patrol with a few Cyborg, Beast Boy, and someone else. You've done this by yourself so it should be all good. Maybe nothing will happen, Marina thought, taking deep breaths as she walked into the large lobby, where the others were located. Cyborg had done something to allow her in, probably have the security system identify her through her communicator or something. She observed the Tower, a place she had only been in once before. That had been ages ago, back when her uniform had been pixie-like and cute. But now she was older, wearing a uniform of black and white, a black domino mask protecting her identity. Her hair was slicked back, kept there by hair gel to keep it out of her face. Obviously, someone had spent too much time around some other hair gel and domino mask wearing heroes.
CoughcoughRobinandSpeedycoughcough.
Now, play it cool. Be like Robin. Yeah, Marina thought, stopping and staring as some hero she didn't know, someone by the name of Spoiler, yelled at Cyborg and Beast Boy in introduction. That's not normal human behavior, Marina observed, because she knew normal. Well, normal-ish. It was one of the reasons why she went traveling. Yet again, humans were really, really weird.
"I'm here as well," Marina stated, walking towards the three after taking a deep breath. Be professional. You can do this. She thought, resisting the urge to fall back into her cutesy ways. Because she had been like that when she first got here, but she was 14 now. She needed to play it cool. Right? "Aquarius reporting for patrol duty."

Cyborg gave a yawn, and then raised his eyebrow toward the green bean he called a friend. "The vegan joint? Are you seriously asking me this? Of course we're not going to be patrolling some--"
Suddenly a loud voice was reverberating his ear and earpiece; a very loud introduction. Cyborg's eye flew open in surprise and his upteenth insult toward Beast Boy's taste in food forgotten as he looked to see who was the overly eager beaver. The girl so introduced as Miss Spoiler was hooded in purple, and he realized it was the first time he's ever really seen her. It did match the thumbnail picture he had when she was added to the Titan database though.
"Woah! You sure got a set of pipes there," he teased, and then finally paying attention to something that wasn't as pressing like say... picking his nose... Cyborg could hear the door open this time.
The smell of strong hairgel made him think it was Robin, so he was a little disoriented when it was another female voice coming to introduce herself. He should have known, considering unlike Beast Boy he was well aware of patrol details, but that didn't stop him from outright grinning when he saw the slicked back hair and domino mask. Someone sure was taking his to Robin's style choices.
Someone really ought to intervene, then.
"Hey Aquarius! Aww right, so everyone's here," Cy greeted and stood up. "So, lemme just give you a quick rundown on what a patrol is and why we do it. I'm going to be upfront with you, we're probably not going to be..." he glanced at Spoiler, "kicking any butt today. Most patrols are a pain in the a--erm, they can be boring, but necessary. It's our way of deterring crime by having a presence, and dispersing ourselves so that if there is a situation in Jump, chancing are they'll be some Titan near enough the area to quickly respond."
He hoped that would lower their expectations for whatever they were hoping this would be, but he offered a silver lining if action was what they were into. "Though who knows; there've been plenty of times we've been on patrol and caught villains right in the act, before even the police were aware of what was going down."
Cyborg held out his communicator. "Before we head to the garage, I ask you two ladies to take out your T-Comm. We're gunna sync up, so that we can be aware of each other's positions and maintain communication when needed. Though I intend for us to all stick together for the most part, we'll probably be splitting up into groups, and then by the time this patrol is over we'll each go our separate ways and rendevouz back at the tower. For now though, we'll be ridin' the bab--T-Car."
He cleared his throat. Sometimes he forgot that there were people on this team who didn't yet understand his crazy obsession with his vehicle. He knew Starfire still understand, even if she's accepted it.
"Oh, come on! You've never even given it a chance, not once!" he crossed his arms in a huff and looked away from Cyborg indignantly.
"Aw, sweet!" Beast Boy jumped to his feet at the sight of the newcomers. "They're here! Hey! Do either of you guys like vegetarian food?" Beast Boy hardly waited for Cyborg to finish his ran-- um, thorough explanation-- before asking the important questions.
He studied both the newcomers. Girls! That was cool, Beast Boy would never turn down the company of some pretty ladies. Even if they... would just giggle at his attempts at flirtation.
Okay, so he wasn't very good at flirting, but... he could be friendly! Friendly was his middle name! Okay, no. Mark was his middle name. But maybe "Mark" meant "Friendly!"
He stepped over to Aquarius, offering his hand in an awkward too-professional way. He was supposed to be her superior but he still wasn't really used to it, so he dropped that weak act fast.
"I like the mask, dude! Did you know I used to wear a mask? Ha ha ha...." Okay that was dumb. Remembering his green self wearing a mask was like cringing at a sixth-grade yearbook photo. Ha ha ha ha WHY.
Slinking as far into the backgroud as she could after her lovely display of dorkitude, Stephanie listened to Cyborg's explanation of patrols intently. She was of course actually aware of a lot of this stuff already. She'd been patrolling by herself until Babs picked her up from off the street. She had gotten two bank robberies and of course Rave, the gravity-loving supervillain out of them, but most of them really amounted to nothing. Just a lot of wasted time. Still, it would be nicer to patrol with some others along. Plus... her mounting... rivalry with Cyborg... She shook her head and got out the nervous shivers. "All in due time Steph, all in due time," she said to herself.
As Cyborg called for action, she whipped out her T-Comm for him. She was a little bit worried it maybe wouldn't sync up properly since Barbara had calibrated it just to receive messages from her. Cyborg may be able to fix that though. It had been necessary in the early days of her Titanship because of Robin's objections to her position in the team, but she was pretty much a full-fledged recruit now... Robin still didn't know she was there of course, but she'd get to resolving that eventually. 'Allllllll in due time,' she repeated in her mind a bit more silly this time knowing telling the boy wonder was not going to be a pleasant experience at all. Barbara would probably have a couple goes at her too.
Despite her terrible entrance, Beast Boy seemed pretty excited to see her anyway and asked about vegetarian food. She had been vegetarian back in Gotham, but the whole being poor, needing excessive protein to do her job, and digging food out of Barbara's fridge on top of it all kind of forced her to put meat back in her diet. She was going to concur on his choice, but then he turned his attention onto Aquarius, so she settled back over near Cyborg, keeping her vegetarian comment to herself. Getting up near the hulking mechanical man that was Victor Stone, she kind of grabbed her arm awkwardly and broke the ice, "So uh... I hear you and Beast Boy play a lot of video games. I'm uh... quite a gamer myself. Doot doot doot doo doot doot!" she spoke out, giving a poor imitation of the Super Mario Bros. theme while she motioned hitting a block over her head with a dorky smile. Cyborg of course couldn't see the smile under her mask, but he probably felt it if he had any form of empathy in him.
Okay, so far so good. Yeah, this is gonna be awesome. Marina thought as Cyborg greeted her then started talking about what was going to happen tonight. He seemed to emphasis how it was most likely going to be boring, but Marina didn't mind it that much. Going a night without property damage? Woohoo! Robin would be happy about that!
Marina glanced at Spoiler, who had excited at the thought of butt kicking, hiding her smile as Cyborg stated that they might catch a villain right in the act for who knows what could happen. Shouldn't be that difficult to kick so butt if we have to. We got Cyborg AND Beast Boy. Marina thought, pulling out her T-Comm at Cyborgs request. She listened with care, her lips twitching as he told them that they were going to be riding in the T-Car.
The last time she was here and needed transportation, she had ridden on one of Inks creations. That had been the most terrifying things shes ever done, because that thing had been big AND fast. But in hearing that she'll be in the T-Car? She had to restrain back a cheer.
Marina straightened as Beast Boy walked over to her, offering his hand in a very professional way. She took his hand, careful to not crush it in her handshake (its happened before, don't ask). However, the prefessional way was soon dropped as Beast Boy told her that he liked her mask and that he used to wear one too. "Thanks. I sort of picked it up from Robin and Speedy. It's been very helpful in hiding my identity," Marina said, which is true. Heck, hardly anyone would look at her and think she was the little alien girl who had shown up in a uniform that looked pixy-like. "Why don't you wear the mask anymore?" Marina asked, the fact that Beast Boy was green and therefore making a mask kind of useless escaping her.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
