"Okay, let's go over the rules."
Cyborg was in the driver's seat of the famous T-Car which was parked in the garage of the famous Teen Titans Tower. Next to him in the passenger seat, a new Titan who was not so famous yet, but one day she'd rise through the ranks and this would be one step forward. One hand was at the steering wheel, while the other let go to hold up his shiny metal fingers in view. "One," he said, counting it off with his index, "no touching the buttons." There were many a buttons on the dash of the T-Car, that did many a wondrous thing, but they were off limits even to someone like Starfire.
"Two," he said, second finger going up. "That includes messing with the radio. I don't care what Iggy Pop song comes on that makes you go 'oh mah gooooosh it's mah jaaaaam!'--no messin' with the dials." These were all rules that had to be made, because some people in the past had broken them. Broken them so hard, he developed paranoia for anyone new who stepped foot into his car. Okay, not really, that was an exaggeration.
"Three," he said, with the third and final finger going up. "No feet on the dashboard. Keep all body parts where they're intended to be." Both hands were on the wheel. "As long as those rules are followed, we'll get along just fine." That being settled, it was time they ride. Metal to the pedal, Cyborg drove them through the long tunnel that led to the city, where they emerged from a discreet location somewhere in the Docks. From there, they'd begin their patrol cruisin' through Jump City.
