Terra sighed a bit as sand came pouring out of the cracked side of the plastic hourglass she had dredged up from a pile of vinyl-lined boards. Lifting her hand, she pulled the little grains up out of the carpet with her powers and sent them over into the trash along with the little hourglass. It was lucky their communicators and most phones really had a timer on them these days. Made these makeshift timers a bit obsolete.
Terra had been one of the folks to have been around when the great board game treasure trove was discovered and jumped on to play some. She loved Scattergories personally and it was as good as a way as any to get to know everyone else in the Tower. The massive number of people actually in the Titans was astounding. When she had first visited Geo-Force she had been pretty positive there weren't this many members in the superhero team. She supposed most of them stayed elsewhere. The residents with actual assigned rooms were pretty much her, Batgirl, and the original five which is what she had thought to be about the size of the actual team.
Vaguely, she wondered what the main group had told all the new recruits about her tenure in the team. Was it common knowledge she had betrayed them? Or did they leave that out? She shook it from her head and looked up to those who had sat down to play. "Right, so each of us get one of these-" she began lifting up one of the vinyl boards only for it to fall apart in her hand. She looked at the fallen piece and sighed before putting it aside. "We'll just not use THAT one. Anyway... You need one of these boards and an answer sheet. There SHOULD be three category cards in each board too," she continued, lifting up a not-so-broken board and pointing at the little pocket in it that had three card stock sheets in it. She really hoped there weren't any missing category cards. Works great around that was super annoying.
If one looked at the category cards they had two lists of categories on each side, adding up to twelve lists each numbered appropriately assuming you had all three cards. As people got settled, Terra fiddled with an oversized 20-sided dice containing letters on each side instead of numbers. It was in surprisingly good condition compared to the rest of the set. Amusingly, Terra rolled it a couple times on the carpet receiving in order A, D, and R. She nodded, satisfied and looked up to see how everyone was doing.
