OoC; Ohp--and here I was in the wrong side of 2015 x) It shall be modified accordingly, sorry fellas! Edited, also, for inconsistency of tipping her gun down with a bow that wasn't in his hands anymore. xDxD |
"You musta done a real number on this guy, Princess. We've got some serious icebreaker game to work on with you when this ends quietly," he mused quietly at the troublesome, learning medic, despite the apparent gravity of the situation.
It was nothing they couldn't handle if they just diffused all the tensions rampant in mere conversation.
The archer took a tentative step forward, aiming to tip Drössel's firearm-arm a degree lower with the tip of his own weapon.
"You heard the interloper right, fella. When. Let's everyone stand down and chill a sec'. That means that gun too Princess; I'm the only human around and that thing and I have some history, so believe me when I say everyone in question's safer with diplomacy today."
He wondered how much the humanoid creature knew about the Titans' operations if he recognized Speedy was from Steel's team. But then, all the squads were getting pretty busy lately with all Jump's overflow, thus much more press, and he'd always been rather popular, so it wasn't too surprising.
Just interesting.
Who was this guy?
Something told Speedy Icebreakers round 3 was for later.
He placed his bow beside his left boot on the ground, and raising his hands at about ear-height to show they were empty as he spoke.
"From what I'm understanding so far, all this heat is about definitions and wording. It's been tried and cliched before, I know, but, 'can't we all just agree to disagree'?"
It was worth a shot.
At the little robot's caution, he smiled an easy kind of smile.
"I highly doubt Mr...ermn. Your new fr--acquaintance is gonna up and maim innocent civilians. What context am I missing, here? Only known the guy 20 seconds."
Speedy finished by kicking his bow behind him and clasping his hands behind his back, as non-threatening as could be.
There wasn't even anything clasped behind his back this time. He figured it wouldn't curry favour with this big amazing creature-dude when he realized the ginger was only feigning non-aggression.
