Characters: Robin (Silv), Cyborg/Starfire (Elenaphant), Raven (Bry) NPCs (Beast Boy & Plasmus) and INTRODUCING STERLING! (Red Wizard) Setting: Near the water treatment plant. Previous Threads: Giant Nerds (correct me if I'm wrong) Plot Summary: The Teen Titans try to stop Plasmus from contaminating the city's water and make a new friend!
Robin glanced up from the paperwork he was filling out, his pen stilling against the line of text he was writing up, and turned to look the direction the shout had come from. That was never the sort of emergency anybody ever wanted to hear about. He set the paperwork to the side with a resigned scowl and got to his feet as Beast Boy raced through the door to the common room. There was toilet paper stuck to his shoe. "What happened?" the Titan leader demanded to know.
"I don't know!" Beast Boy exclaimed. "I just flushed the toilet, and instead of going like wooosh it went like garglegargleIamcomingtodevouryoursoooouls" the changeling explained with over the top hand motions that went with his silly sound effect explanation. "And then the everything started coming out of the toilet, and got all over the floor, and I'm pretty sure it's taken over the hallway now!"
"Beast Boy," Robin replied, his masked eyes narrowing. That was, precisely, when his communicator went off. No more than a second later and the lights were flashing red. The Teenage Thunderbolt grabbed his communicator and his eyes scanned the alert. "Plasmus is at the water treatment center. We have to stop him before he contaminates all the drinking water," Robin told his team. "Titans GO!"
The bizarrely green hawk flying past Robin at the command was stopped by something grabbing onto his leg. Beast Boy shifted back into human shape as he crashed spectacularly on the floor. Robin's gloved hand released it's grip on the changeling's leg. "Not you, Beast Boy," the Boy Wonder said with narrowed masked eyes. "Clean up your mess here, and then meet up with us. We can handle Plasmus."
"But!" Beast Boy protested, his ears flopping dejectedly at Robin's stern expression. "Awwww, dude!"
Robin shook his head.
"Not fair!" was the last grumble Robin heard from the other teen as he raced down the stairs to meet up with the others.
The roar of Robin's motorcycle engine cut off abruptly when they reached the water treatment plant. It seemed suspiciously quiet as the Boy Wonder pulled off his helmet and headed further into the building. "Split up," he told his team. "Find Plasmus." It had to be somewhere around here. Unless it had already escaped into the city.
Robin was silent as he moved along the pipes and containers. He heard the attack before he saw it. Something hissed, the love child of steam releasing from a pipe and somebody hawking a loogie, and the Titan's leader rolled out of the way just as a giant, bright green, and steaming pile of acid landed where he'd just been. "Found him!" Robin released the button on his communicator and shoved it back into his utility belt just quickly enough to flip out of the way of another attack. He wobbled on a barrel, teetering as the giant mucus monster spat at it, and jumped before the barrel disintegrated beneath him. Robin grasped onto the pipes above his head like a monkey, his masked eyes widening as he tried to find another hand-hold before he got covered in Plasmus goop.
Any Comm.Call that began with “Plasmus” could be counted on Raven’s “Least Favourite Missions” list. The fact that the call ended with water contamination was just icing on the cake. Raven groaned, mumbled something under her breath that sounded a lot like “Fantastic,” and pulled her hood over her head, obeying the call to action regardless of the fact that she’d rather be doing almost literally anything else. She arrived at the water treatment center just as the rest of her team touched down or pulled off their motorcycle helmets and looked around.
All seemed quiet, but Robin said to investigate and Raven nodded her head. She wasn’t exactly sure how she felt about the possibility that the monster was already in the City. It’d be nice not to fight the thing again, considering the last few times the team went up against Plasmus, it took forever to get the goo out of her hair. But it would also be nice not to have to clean goo out of their toilet. Not to mention their drinking water. “On it,” she said with a nod and headed into the northern side of the building as the rest of the team fanned out.
The first few minutes of the search yielded exactly nothing and Raven was about to growl in frustration when Robin’s voice came over the somewhat staticky line, informing her he’d found their adversary. Ah, well. At least the City was safe or something.
Raven flew into action — literally — and reached Robin’s coordinates in time to see her leader leap off a barrel filled with anything but fun. He clung to the pipes above both of their heads and Plasmus rose up above him, gurgling and gooey and gross. As the monster geared up for another shot at the Titans’ leader, Raven threw up her hand, an umbrella of sorts shielding Robin on one side and blocking some delightfully acidic goo on the other. Once the attack simmered down, Raven let the energy shield fall and the goo splatted itself onto the concrete ground.
“Close one,” she commented and turned to take hold of a few more barrels, hurtling them towards Plasmus while keeping a nice distance from the creature. “This’ll be interesting,” she observed, noting the vast amount of openings into the water pipes that would have to be avoided if the City’s water was to remain safe.

As bad as a fight with Plasmus was, Cyborg was really glad he wasn't the one at home cleaning up sewage. The night before had been some taco night action and Cy wasn't sure if it was Plasmus to blame, or just the consequence of not paying attention to food quality. Man, why were they collectively so bad at managing their fridge? He blamed the constant vigilance of fighting crime sapping mental reserves, and not marathons of console gaming.
The drivers impressively arrived more or less on time with the girls, whose method of transportation involved less traffic. They came together only to split up again. Cyborg relied on his scanners and optic eye, but he didn't have to--Robin sent out the call he was found. He followed back the co-ordinates and watched them converging back toward their leader. By the time he got there Robin was close to being sludge, but Raven got his back in the nick of time. So Cyborg concentrated on firing at the thing.
Starfire joined in, and the two tanks tried to keep his attention and maybe whittle him down to size, but experience told them that containment was the best way to go about it. That was a bit harder when Plasmus was spitting alarmingly large acid balls their way. Cyborg also had a near scare when one twice his size came right at him, but Starfire got in between and only had time enough to blast it back, scattering the acid dangerously in smaller spurts. He didn't envy the cleanup crew, but he wasn't about to complain given it was his life on the line.
Except, as Raven had observed, there were massive amounts of openings and some of that acid just got into drinking water. It was still small enough quantities that the treatment facility could filter it out, but any more of that and they'd be putting Jump City in seriously bad condition. "Star! Careful of the pipes," he called out, despite being grateful and all, and rolled to avoid another hit.
"His projectiles are larger and faster than before," she tried to explain, "But I am more prepared now--can anything be done to shut the water down?"

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
