There was a moment of surprise as Cyborg allowed the little robot to carry her patient. A quick nod followed. With new-found energy, Drössel bounded forward. Robin safely tucked within her arms, she then lifted the Titan out of the car. Her eyes followed Cyborg's motion towards the elevator.
@{Human Cyborg} With pleasure! Which floor are we going to?
The robot entered first, her precious patient still cradled like a child. Cyborg followed promptly. Drössel tilted her head as the Titan pulled out his communicator and pressed it against a panel. Numbers began glowing. The robot princess marveled at the technology. Then the elevator started moving. Cyborg then asked the medic for an introduction. Lifting her chin, Drössel declared formally,
@{Human Cyborg} Of course! I am Drössel Von Flügel. I am a medical robot built and trained to heal humans!
Of course, the little robot had questions of her own. After all, she was quite curious about the Teen Titans.
@{Potential future patient Cyborg} I am actually searching for a place to provide my services. Do you think the Titans often get hurt? Or cause hurt to other humans that I may heal?
There was a soft clicking noise as the elevator crossed the many floors of the T tower. It seemed the medical bay was quite high up.

The name sounded German, and he wondered if it was some foreign company that made her. A paranoid part of him wondered if she was built specifically to gain access to the Titans and record stuff, but then--that was what they had their security measures for. It would be remiss of him to pass up the opportunity to have a medic around. "Fon Floogel huh? Well, you can bet we get hurt more often than we'd like. If you're interested I--"
The floor stopped earlier than the med bay. The elevator door opened to reveal Starfire, and Cyborg tensed in anticipation of her response.
Her eyes widened and her face fell to grim shock as her eyes swept from Cyborg, to the unfamiliar robot carrying their unconscious leader. "Robin!" she exclaimed, a note of fear in her voice at his condition as she quickly drew in to look over him. Her eyes looked up at Drossel, seeking answers, but then to him.
"What happened? Is he--"
"He's going to be fine," Cyborg assured her, and himself, firmly. He looked over to their new potential recruit. "Drossel, this is Starfire. She's a Titan and very close to Robin," he explained, hoping the medical robot would understand and let the alien girl fuss over him. She was leaning in close, with her fingertips touching his forehead, gazing over his brow.
The door opened and the medical bay was in front of them. Cyborg led the way out and gestured to the ladies behind him for the bed, next to all the monitors and equipment. "Hey, maybe sleeping beauty just needs his princess charming," Cyborg joked, trying to lighten the grim mood Starfire carried in with her worry.
Robin faded in and out of consciousness. He couldn't muster the strength to respond to Cyborg, or at least he was pretty sure it was Cyborg, as he felt himself moving. The next time he woke up they were in a vehicle. He made a soft noise, confused by the fever, and slipped back into sleep. They moved him again, or at least, he was pretty sure he was moving. His eyes cracked open behind his mask as he dimly registered that they'd made it home. Then someone shouted his name.
The Boy Wonder's masked eyes snapped open, and his heart rate instantly accelerated, at the worry in Starfire's voice. He calmed down as she approached, his eyes drooping shut of their own accord, as if that reaction took too much out of him. Robin had certainly changed his mind about the healing. Healing sucked. He felt way worse than before.
Somehow the bed in the medical was colder than the robot's arms. Robin tensed for a moment before melting into it. The cool sheets felt good against his fevered skin. Until he started to shiver. Robin's masked eyes opened blearily as he felt more like Anna from Frozen than Sleeping Beauty. "We're..." Robin tried to speak, not liking that he looked less fearless leader and more pathetic at the moment in front of his teammates, "-the tower?" he asked weakly.
Drössel blinked as Cyborg interrupted his own sentence. Alarmed by the Titan's behavior, she sent a lightning fast message.
@{Cyborg} Did something unexpected happen?
But before the half-metallic man had time to explain, a new figure appeared through the elevator door. Non human. Powerful. Potentially dangerous. Drössel reflexively pulled her patient away from the Alien presence. There was a brief stir. She noted vitals spiking for a moment, before dropping again. As she recognized Titan Starfire however, Drössel slowly reversed her action. Her eyes sought out Cyborg's for advice.
@{Cyborg} Any special requirements I should be aware of?
Her head turned around to face Starfire's question. Before she could parse the full implications of it however, Cyborg already gave a partial answer. The Titan then followed up with an introduction. Drössel accepted the invitation by sending the following message:
@{Non-human Starfire} Hi Alien Starfire! I am robot Drössel Fünf. Robin is currently my patient. I can assure you that he is in no immediate medical danger.
Without Robin's explicit permission -or any medical reason to do so- the robot was not inclined to share any more information on Robin's physical state. From watching the Jump city news, Drössel was somewhat familiar with Starfire. She observed carefully as the Alien girl made contact with her subject. Then the elevator stopped again. The door opened and Cyborg pointed helpfully towards a comfortable looking bed.
Drössel carefully lay down her patient on the bed. She ignored the monitors, but analyzed the other equipment. It was plenty to work with. At the mention of the word "princess" she perked her head up. Her head tilted for a moment. She suddenly moved closer to Robin. Her head bent forward, the robot's head was within kissing distance of the Titan, if she only had a mouth. Eyes switched to red, detecting an increase in brain activity. She blinked, switching to orange.
@{Robin} You are awake but seem rather uncomfortable.
She couldn't quite tell why. Was it the presence of the Alien? Or perhaps Titan Robin had a phobia of medical equipment?
@{Robin} You still have multiple minor bruises and injuries, as well as the lingering infection. You may also want to speak with your teammates with your full mental capacities. Do you wish for another entropic boost?
While it would prolong the infection by another couple of minutes, Drössel had a vested interested in Robin accepting the offer. It would mean another couple of hours of extra sleep for the small human. Drössel had an inkling that this was the best way to make sure the Titan leader rested enough.

"Welcome back, bud," Cyborg greeted, as he towered behind the two ladies in the back. His gaze slipped down to Drossel, who was leaning in for... a mouthless kiss? No, just analyzing it seemed. Neither Titan at Robin's side could follow what was going on, as they weren't included in the telepathic conversation. What they did note, was the shivering, and handled that information in different ways.
Cyborg went to the monitors and de-tangle some of the attachments. One of them was the blood-pressure sleeve, which he waited patiently with until Robin was ready and there was space to approach. No need to crowd the guy.
Starfire was grabbing a spare blanket to lay over the first, and said, "Excuse me," to Drossel so that she could drape it over him. She tucked it around him, while looking at him with all the fondness of a concerned friend, and more. She wanted to offer her own warmth by sitting next to him on the bed, but knew better when she looked up at the other two. They were the ones with healing and medical knowledge.
So, she pressed her warm hand to his cheek and smiled reassuringly down at him. She straightened and stepped back.
Robin grinned at his friends, gratitude in his masked gaze, before the robot's voice in his head pulled his attention to her. "No!" he told her sharply, flinching back without really thinking about it. He remembered the last time. It had felt awesome until he'd passed out. Which wasn't something he felt like repeating. Still, it was obvious the robot felt she was helping, and so he shot her a strained smile. "Sorry. I'm fine. Really. My team will help me."
His masked gaze shot to the pair in question, no doubt at all on his face, as he gave his second in command a quick nod and held out his arm. He let Cyborg use the blood pressure cuff, keeping his arm still as the pressure increased around it. Being the team's token human he had spent a lot of time in this infirmary. A lot about it sucked, sure, but being doted on by Starfire was one of the better parts.
The Boy Wonder offered her a shy smile in thanks, his heart beat rocketing at her sudden nearness when her cool hand touched his warm cheek, and mumbled a "thanks," before his masked gaze slid back Cyborg and the robot. "What happened? Did you catch the thief?"
Drössel took a step back at the Titan Leader's response. The robot was not bound in any way to follow the human's order. Only the first law applied to this robot. Yet, Medic felt no pang of guilt from her core. The young hero was in good hands and mostly out of danger.
@{Robin} I concur. You need rest.
Drössel was still in the way both of Cyborg and Starfire. With a quick bound she faded back behind the two Titans. The alien covered Robin with an extra blanket. Cyborg followed shortly with a blood pressure instrument. Medic gave Robin a last scan before turning around to search the infirmary for sleeping pills.
The robot opened one drawer. Squatting, she peered deep into the piece of furniture. Her hand jerked into action, grabbing one jar of caps, reading the ingredient list before moving on to the next one. In the mean time, Robin changed topic. The robot perked her head up again at the mention of the thief. She looked briefly at Cyborg, waiting for his assessment. Then the robot added her own message, delivered directly into Robin's mind.
@{Robin} The other patient was not in any serious danger. I abandoned pursuit.
Even if Cyborg had been present on the spot, Drössel would not have engaged the less hurt human. She would have left the chase to the more able Titan while healing her patient. Opening a medical cabinet to the left, Drössel's eyes widened. Enough to put a tiger to sleep. Grabbing the caps, she sent a quick message to Cyborg.
@{Cyborg} I have found extra-strong sleeping pills.
She paused for a moment to think. The next sentence was crafted with great care.
@{Cyborg} Robin is not significantly hurt anymore. But I believe he still requires sleep to cure a viral infection.
Antibiotics would not be helpful. And stasis would stop both the infection and the Titan's antibodies.

Cyborg checked Robin's blood pressure when the two had moved out of the way and the arm was offered. The sleeve tightened around his biceps and Cyborg monitored the numbers. As he thought, it was only slightly higher than his average. That could easily be due to stress. He would get more useful data checking his patient's temperature, as the chills seemed to indicate it. As he prepped the thermometer, Robin asked him about the thief. Cyborg gave him a side-eyed glance.
"He got away. My priority was you," he answered. Seeing his teammate on the ground like that? He'd choose the same every time.
"I can go try and catch him," Starfire offered, glancing back at Robin. She knew how he didn't like letting people get away all too well. "No, if this guy's a ninja you're likely not going to find him," Cyborg replied. "Get in contact with BB and see if he can put his tracking skills to use," he suggested, and Starfire set herself to the task.
Just as he was about to ask Robin to say 'aah', their new potential medic had zoomed back with something. The whole one-way conversation thing was jarring, but Cyborg didn't need to be told her intentions when he glanced down at the bottle. Woah! Princess robot had no chill.
He reached out a hand to cup over the bottle in hers. "We're going to need to work on your treatment methods," he said seriously. "Those aren't to be given out lightly. Can you maybe read me his biometrics, and tell me if he's sustained any significant injuries I should know about?" he suggested. She seemed to be able to scan vitals.
As for Robin, he just had to ask, "Did you know you were sick when you went out?" Because, it would be so like him to do something like that.

The robot and his teammates said the same thing. Robin nodded numbly, accepting their preference for saving his sorry butt over justice, because there really wasn't anything to do about it. Starfire offered to try and hunt down the criminal, and Robin shot her a weak smile as she went off to find Beast Boy as per Cyborg's suggestion. His team, and himself, were in good hands. Still, being in the infirmary made it hard to relax.
When the robot came over with a bottle at first Robin didn't know what was going on. He wasn't part of the conversation, and his masked eyes narrowed as he tried to place the bottle Cyborg had just confiscated. It looked like the sleeping pills. Maybe the robot was malfunctioning.
Robin didn't have too long to worry about it though, because Cyborg's human eye had locked onto him and was asking a question the Titan leader really didn't want to answer. The Boy Wonder averted his eyes and shifted slightly under his blankets. "It was just a cold," he defended. "I've patrolled worse off."
Drössel tilted her head as Cyborg opted against putting the Titan leader to sleep. Her head turned an immediate ninety degrees in response to the request for biometric information.
@{Robin} Titan Cyborg asked me for your biometrics. Which ones should I provide?
The robot relaxed slightly as the powerful alien disappeared from the room. While not a threat, Starfire did not fall neatly into Drössel's classification. She was a wildcard.
Medic returned her attention on Robin. He seemed uncomfortable. Drössel sent him a message,
@{Robin} I do not recommend patrolling when sick. You could have contaminated other humans.
She paused for a moment, retrieving memory. Surprisingly, she felt uncomfortable sharing medical information about patients, but stating that they were healthy was ok.
@{Robin} Do not worry though. You did not infect the ninja human. She left in good health.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
