Characters: Starfire, 4 NPC Models, Control Freak, Open to all Setting: Mid-day Downtown Jump City Previous Threads: None Plot Summary: Control Freak is at it again, and this time he's taking inspiration from an old classic. Four beautiful models, and his Titan crush Starfire, have been taken under his control so that they can live out a magical girl reality. Who wants Titans when you can have cool transformation sequences, and super flashy special attacks? Can the Titans convince Stafire she's not a crime-fighting princess from another planet, in love with a masked boy who won't share his secret identity with her? Wait a minute.
A distant cackling was heard in the streets of Jump City. Savvy citizens were already moving to get out the way, while others turned toward the sound in wonder. Turning the corner was a giant human bouncing ball--upper half that of a man in clown paint, while the rest of the body had been replaced with a giant blue ball. It may as well have been a wrecking ball, because it had the same crushing effect on anything it landed. The pavement cracked. Hoods of cars were dented in. Buildings nearby shook. Even citizens used to crazy villainous metas couldn't help but scream in terror when their latest loony landed a bit too close for comfort.
People were in trouble, and when there was trouble you called...
The bouncing ball screeched against pavement to halt, looking confused. “Hey, you're not the Teen Titans.”
Before him, four gorgeous girls stood in picture perfect poses all in a line, leaving a gap in the middle. Their uniforms matched with short pleated skirts attached to bodices, sailor collars, bows, ribbons, gems and of course, tiaras. They practically sparkled in the light, all radiant and lovely. “Of course not,” one answered with a vain flip of her hair. “The Titans never looked this good~”
“We're what you set your sights to,” “We're goals baby,” “We cast our light and guide you on a better way,”
A pair of royal purple boots approached the edge of a nearby building. Hand on her hip, and red hair playing in the breeze, she projected her voice and drew eyes to her bright silhouette. “We are here to answer the wishes of the good people of this city,” she said, and then in a single bound she jumped from the edge to land right in middle, completing the line. The deformed clown's eyes widened slightly. It was Starfire, in a uniform modified to match the others. She posed dramatically. “And that starts with getting rid of you!”

Kimber Lee Fowl was in downtown before chaos sets in. Casually enjoying her daily intake of her caffeine. Outside her favourite coffee branch store. Rudely interrupted. While the crowds flee for their life and safety, she slips away from the noisy crowd to a quiet and to a deserted area. With just a snap of her finger. Her sapphire choker started to glow brightly.
“Showtime, Synergy!”
She says the little phrase to quickly suit up into her Titans uniform. Especially on an emergency occasion such as this. A phrase not necessary needed to activate her magic for the quick clothes changes. But she just enjoying saying it. A silver ring appears above her as she held out her hand. As the silver ring spin around and sank to the ground. Her casual outfit was quickly replaced with Titans uniform and her utility belts and gears. The final touch was added when she pushes her hair back. Changing her brown colour hair to silver, honey auburn colour eyes to green and her lip gloss is applied
“Time to kick some butt!”
Grabbing a silver bell from her. She manipulated it into a disc and hops on it then up she goes. Levitating upwards from the deserted alley before heading to the fight zone. “What the…?”Silverwing stopped in mid-air. Hovering over the scene. Stun and dumbstruck. “Star…fire?” Quickly picking out Starfire from above from her bright red colour hair a group of girls. Question was, who the heck are they (the NPC)? And what the heck is Star wearing? She looked like some sort of cosplay anime hero. She knew Star is quite a fashionista who could pull anything off. It helps that she tall slender and gorgeous. But today, she choice of fashion was quite…questionable? Unless? If, she was planning to wear it to a Halloween party? Yeah, she's not buying. It's not even October yet. Something was obvious wrong here and she know who was behind it.“Hey! Bouncing man!" Levitating closer to the villain. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?” Questioning him about Starfire. But he looks just as confuse and dumbstruck as she was.
Robin, being the stereotypical boyscout that he was, was helping an old lady across the street. All seemed quiet as the Boy Wonder held the woman's grocery bag and easily matched pace with her as they crossed the dashed lines of the pedestrian walk. They were having an animated conversation about pie crusts.
"If you replace the water in the recipe with Mountain Dew-" she was saying as he reached to help her get around the puddle from the other night's rain that sulked right below the curb. When the city was in trouble they knew who to call, and Robin's communicator flashed in warning, pulling him from the secrets the old woman was bestowing upon him. "I'm sorry, Ma'm," Robin said as he set down her bag to pull out his communicator. He didn't need to pull it out, though, because a rumble of the street they were on told him something was coming. The Boy Wonder tensed, ushering the older woman into a nearby building, before turning to face Jump's latest adversary.
Clowns. Why did it always have to be clowns?
The monstrosity had stopped a few blocks beyond him, and Robin's masked eyes narrowed as he tried to make out what was going on in front of him. It seemed to be a bunch of women, all posing rather dramatically, and he wasn't sure what to make of it. He picked up his pace into a run, pulling his grappling hook from his belt, and using it to launch himself skywards.
He landed on the rooftops nearby, his pace not even slowing, as he continued towards the monster and whatever had stopped it in it's tracks. Robin noticed Silverwing first, zipping in on a bright disk, and he quickly synced communicators. "Silvering!" he called to get her attention, his pace halting as soon as he realized just who was down there posing. Her costume gave him pause, but there was no mistaking Starfire. He'd never seen the other girls before, though, and he hoped they knew what they were doing. If they didn't...well, they'd have to have a talk about extracurriculars and allowing civilians to play hero. "Starfire!" he picked back up running again, a green gloved hand moving to his belt to pull out an explosive disk. "Knock him down!" and launched the disk straight for the giant clown's face.
The carnival terror, or more like fool looked at Silverwing with an exaggerated brow of disbelief. "I've done nothin', tooks," he said, but then his expression quickly shifted into a maniacal glee as he finished with, "BUT I WILL DO THIS!" He cackled with laughter and bounced three times in a chaotic zig-zag, forcing anyone in his path to dodge. One of Starfire's teammates had been distracted by Robin's arrival, and had only noticed the incoming villain at the last second. She barely avoided it by jumping out of the way, but the girl obviously wasn't trained for such quick reflexes as she yelped out. The high-heels hadn't helped with the landing. There was a nasty tear of the ligament and the girl had absolutely sprained her ankle in the fall. She held it, wincing, as the shadow of the clown came over her.
Before the poor girl became a very morbid decoration on the streets, Starfire flew in and intercepted mid-air in an impressive kick, sending the ball like man flying the opposite way toward the ground. He skidded across the open street in what was undoubtedly some painful friction, slamming into cars like a bowling ball to pins flying out of the way. He eventually skidded to a halt in a pile-up of cars and uprooted ground.
In the meantime Starfire descended next to the hurt girl. "Princess, I have... failed you," she said to the Princess of Tamaran. Starfire shook her head and lifted the girl gently. Holding her in her arms, Starfire turned to face the two odd ones out. Her eyes sternly fell on Robin, though she glanced at Silverwing too. "You need to leave. This isn't a fight for the Titans," she said.
"You're gonna pay for that, you monster!" One of the other 'sailor scouts' brandishing a short sword yelled out as the carnie criminal was coming to. Her stance as she held the sword up dramatically was obviously wrong to whoever had any experience with the weapon. This high-heeled amateur was charging toward the metahuman, and Starfire was already busy getting one girl out of harm's way.
Silverwing started to curse under her breath. Dodging the criminal bouncing clown range of attack. Quickly flying out of range. Almost. Nearly. An inch from getting flatted into a human pancake. Yelling. Exchanging a few choice creative word with the clown. Silverwing face turns into horror. Watching the bouncing clown fall....bounce backwards. "HOLY SH~! YOU GOTTA TO BE KIDDING ME!!!"
Silverwing started to curse under her breath...again. Seriously. Could her day get any weirder? Or anymore, life threatening? Sometimes. The universe has a funny way of putting a damper in her life. Sometime. Well, if you can walk away from getting flatted. It something right. Back to reality. Quickly dodging the bouncing clown again. Narrowing escaping with her life...again. Something caught the corner of her eyes. It was Starfire. She seems to be back to normal. Thank god. She back to her old self. That would probably explain the sudden flying clown earlier. Happy. Silverwing quickly waved back at her. Jumping up and down. Waving back at Starfire with her hands held high. With a I-am-so-happy-your-back-to-normal smiles on her face. Instead, Starfire just gave an odd glance. Lock on Robin then her. She could be overthinking this...and being paranoid. But, why does she has a bad feeling about it? It literally just spelled trouble to her, in capital letter.
Hearing a panic scream behind her. Bringing back the silver magical girl back to reality. She turns back to see the destruction the fallen clown had made. Creating a mess and hazardous zone to the public. The clown fall might crash and cause some damage to some of the older building in the area. Weakening its structure and was about to collapse on the crowd. Probably distracted and busy recording the heroes in action with their smartphone. Only to be aware of the danger...a little too late. Silverwing needed to react quickly. Summoning her silver bells into action. Her eyes started to glow brightly. Creating a larger shield. Large enough to protect the bystanders and the strong to hold any debris that falls on it. It takes a lot of concentration and will power the hold the shield form and size in place.
"Don't you know! It's crazy Friday today! Crazy villain rampaging the city day! Your average Friday. SO,DONT JUST STAND THERE! MOVE!" And she wouldn't be the nicest person to talk to. "Don't.you.dare.take.a.selfie.right.now!.Or.i'll.drop.the.sheild!" Did she forget to mention she could be rude and scary too?
Elenaphant : I hope you don't mind me. Adding extra destruction (the building). I can change if needed. I don't mind. Also, sorry late reply
Starfire knocked the clown away as his explosive impacted and he hadn't quite anticipated the devastation it would cause. The Boy Wonder's masked eyes widened for a moment before he pulled out his grappling hook and swung down towards Starfire and her strange friends. One of them was hurt. None of them he recognized.
When the alien princess turned to him and told him to leave his jaw unhinged in cartoonish confusion as his masked eyes bulged and a question mark popped up from the spikes in the back on his head. He was silent for a moment, his attention drawn from Starfire to her friend who was waving a sword and charging at the monster. She obviously had no idea how to use the weapon. He needed to stop her before she hurt herself too.
"We'll talk when this is over," Robin warned Starfire with his masked eyes narrowed. "Tell your friends to work crowd control before more of them get hurt." He sprang into action then, racing after the girl with the sword, and having no trouble gaining on an untrained civilian in high heels. Robin moved to get in front of her, reaching for the girl's wrist, so he could take the weapon from her.

Despite her long legs Robin absolutely managed to catch up to her. The girl's wrist was caught and she rounded firey dark eyes back at him. "What are you doing?! Get out of here you wardrobe disaster!" she protested as she tried to shake out of his grip, while her free hand fisted to pound on him.
Starfire put her friend a safe distance near Silverwing. "Please watch over her," she asked, humbly, as she straightened to look over to the scene. The monster was knocked out, but that was only temporary. He had to be taken care of. She jumped up into the air and landed before the feuding two in a graceful arc. Not addressing them, she hovered her hand in front of the bauble at her ribbon, and a wand materialized. It looked... plastic, but the way she held the gold rod with its rhinestones and red gem was reverent.
It was pointed up high to the sky, accompanied by a raised-knee pose with her hand pointed out. It flashed a little, and then as she yelled, "Nova!" and pointed it to the villain...
...Nothing.
Sailor Star looked at the wand confused. "It is not working."
Distracted away from fighting Robin at the arrival of her princess, her eyes widened. "How is it possible? The--you she rounded on Robin again. "It's because you're here, distracting her! You loser exes are all the same--neglect a girl's pure heart when you've got 'em, and then stick around like burr when you've been dumped."
Meanwhile, a black-caped figure approached the rooftop edge in shiny dress shoes and a cheap tux. He looked over the scene. "Wait, that's not one of mine..." he said to himself, confused, and then shook his head.
"SAILOR STAR!"
A voice bellowed from above. Starfire gasped, and looked up as she recognized it. The blue-clad sword-girl did the same. It was CONTROL FREAK, recognizable despite the mask and top-hat.
"This villain cannot be defeated by your gadgets! You must find the power within yourself! Think of your injured friends! Dwell on the anger, the destruction inside, and concentrate it toward him!"
Starfire's gaze up at Control Freak went from surprised to loving, to confused. "My... power..." It was a thoughtful moment, as she stared down at her hands, contemplating for a second as though there was something familiar she couldn't quite reach. "Use your righteous fury to OBLITERATE HIM!"
The gem on her tiara blinked once, as her hands flashed intensely. She held out her fists as she charged her star bolts to a level that went beyond any usual offensive tactic. She was going to power up enough to disintegrate the clown where he lay, much like how cartoon monsters disparate into the light.
Silverwing watched from the sideline. Right after she took care demolished site duty. From the plastic to Control Freak dress in a cheap tux. He was pretty recognizable from his chubby belly. Everything kinda left her. Scratching her head. Things were getting out of hand. It looked like. Starfire had apparently lost her marbles. Or under a mind control. But one was clear. That real actual culprit (this time) was.
No, other than Control Freak.
Of course. It had to be him. Studying his villain profile from the Titans database. Control Freak is an overweight and unshaven movie fanatic who is notorious for using his super remote control to warp reality to suit his movie-inspired images. However, he rarely uses his great intellect, preferring instead to make himself look superior in TV Land or on the internet, or committing crimes that will make him look like a super-villain. Based on his evil ranting, he’s one of those super bad-ass villains. Titans was told. They shouldn’t be worry or be concern off. In order words, he was more a comedy relieve then a super villain.
But somehow today, all that has changed. He manages to outdone himself by controlling Starfire. Examining her (Starfire) from the distance. She wonders. What? or How was Control Freak controlling her? Hmm. Could it be the horrendous Sailor dress? or maybe. That fancy tiara on her forehead. God knows?
But….
“STAR?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” Silverwing suddenly started screaming in panic. “NO!” She watches Starfire in horror. Watching her brutally punch the villain down. Giving him a beating more then he deserves. Pulling back and was about give him the finish blow. Silverwing didn’t pause to think. Her body move on her on. Creating a small silver disc. Flung it towards Starfire. Hitting her hand and deflecting her starbolts attack. That it. Hit a building. Leaving a large hole in it. “STAR! STOP!” Silverwing continued to yell at her again. Jumping on silver steps she created. Racing towards Starfire side. Just before she could do more damage than good. “What are you doing?” She asked the question again. “This isn’t like you. Snap out of it” Stepping between her and the clown ball. Okay. Maybe in between not the right word? Since she kinda standing on clown ball. So….anyway. Point was. “Don’t let whatever control you….” She begged “Please…”
OCC: Let me know if I'm not supposed to mention. What happen SW's disk hits Starfire hand?
Green gloved hands fought to keep their grip on a short sword as he kept getting hit with the girl's other hand. Robin already had a fabulously hand-shaped bright red mark on one of his cheeks, and he didn't fancy any more. He bobbed his head to try to avoid another whack. Wrestling with a civilian over a sword was probably not the most conducive use of his time in a battle situation. Still, he'd never have been able to forgive himself if he let the idiot race off to get herself killed. That monster wouldn't stay down forever.
Starfire's arrival stilled their fight for a few seconds. Robin turned his masked gaze to follow the girl's, and he watched in some confusion as his friend pulled out a child's toy and screamed nonsense like it would achieve something. Apparently the redhead wasn't the only one under this delusion because the girl he'd been wrestling with started on him again. Exes?
"She's not- I'm not- we're not!" the Boy Wonder babbled in protest as his cheeks turned a fabulous shade of red to match his uniform shirt. You had to date to be exes, right? And Robin's frazzled brain couldn't get past that part.
Thankfully Control Freak was there to make everything worse. Robin startled at the bellow Sailor Star? and turned his masked gaze to follow the same as Starfire's and the sword-girl's. Suddenly everything about this made sense. The Titan leader didn't waste time. He took the chubby distraction's appearance as an opportunity to finally steal away the sword. With an attack on the pressure points in the girl's wrist Robin wrenched the weapon away and sent it sliding down the nearest drain. It slid in the concrete slot and plopped down with a splash and a clatter.
Now he could worry about other things like kicking Control Freak's butt and keeping Starfire from killing things. Silverwing already had their teammate covered, and Robin pulled out his grappling hook to shoot it skyward. It rocketed towards the rooftop and dragged it's red, green, and yellow payload with it. Control Freak was going to pay.
Robin landed on the roof after a gymnast flip that had his cape flapping behind him. He raced forward, masked eyes narrowed and locked on the tuxedoed tub of lard, as he pulled out a birdarang. "Control Freak! Whatever you've done to her, undo it!" the Boy Wonder demanded.
Silverwing's disk hit just in time and aimed for a shop thankfully already abandoned because of all the chaos prior. Obliterating an enemy was one thing, but when Silverwing stepped in even a mind-controlled Sailor Star wouldn't fire again. Her arms dropped and her brows furrowed, confused and not entirely understanding that she was being controlled. "I do not understand why you are intervening," she replied.
By now the usual authorities were coming in to take away the monster, and with more people getting involved it seemed that Sailor Star had enough of crime-fighting. Her other two teammates went to take the injured one away from the scene. Sailor scouts didn't stick around to have authorities meddle in their affairs, after all. Sailor Star would be joining them for an escape, but she was concerned about her masked fancy. That, and she saw an opportunity.
"Silverwing, you're beautiful and powerful. Why don't you join us instead? I think you would make a wonderful Sailor Scout," Starfire offered.
Control Freak took an ungraceful step back when Robin landed before him. "Hey!" he exclaimed, not liking the surprise. When Boy-blunder made his demands, the masked villain snorted oh-so-attractively. "You mean making her the leader of an awesome all-girl superteam. No way!"
He pointed toward the birdarang. "Now put that thing away. You hurt me, and she'll come after you. Is that what you want? You should be happy--I'm going to make her a star! Merchandising, screen-time, and good role-modelling to young girls. It's going to be way better than last-year's Titans."
Silverwing couldn't believe. What she was hearing? And it was getting obvious. Starfire had a screw loose somewhere in her head. "Why are we stopping? Are you kidding? Why?" She asked again.' I don't maybe because you're insane.' Okay. You can't say that. That's just rude. She didn't want to offend Starfire. Even if she was under mind control. She might actually remember that.
"Starfire. Don't you get it? You could have almost killed that man. I know. He's a villain and all. But taking a life? That so..." Before could finish her 'lecture'. She was dumbfounded with Starfire offered. "What?! Hell no!" A slip of a tongue.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
