Characters: Kaie, Virgil. Setting: Kingston's High Academy. Previous Threads: None Plot Summary: Virgil is the new transfer student but is late for school on his first day. He then meets Kaie who helps show him around.
It was a somewhat average day at Kingston's High, if you can call going to a school in a city named after a physical motion of ascending fun. 'Either way this will have its ups and downs' Virgil thought to himself as he cracked a smile at the joke he just made.
As he ran around the school looking for his class he couldn't help but feel lost in the huge hallways and this school altogether. Now out of breath Virgil made it to his classroom with a few minutes to spare but not before cracking another joke after he got in. "Hey are you sure this is a school? I would have suggested making this a track and field building." Virgil said as he wiped some sweat from his brow.
Some students laughed, others chuckled while the teacher remained silent then the teacher asked where Virgil's uniform was.
Virgil then looked around and saw everyone was wearing uniforms, Virgil felt embarrassed as he rubbed the back of his head in shame. "Uniform?" Virgil questioned then said "I must have left it in my other backpack."
Again he got a reaction from the students noticing them laughing again.
The teacher stifled a chuckle as they introduced Virgil to the class as their new transfer student then was sat down in front of a girl who was really big in a sense if you could call it that. She was huge really and it made him uneasy at first but Virgil soon got over it as he remembered his friend Derek had to go life as a bangbaby for a good chunk of his life and was treated harshly for that time. After class Virgil approached the girl to ask her about the city. "Hey umm Ms Giantess? Yeah i wondered if you could help me out, see i'm still new here and i don't know much about the city or anything so could you show me around?" Virgil was more nervous of the fact this girl was very pretty and not the fact she was a giant in a sense. Now that he thought about it he basically asked this girl out on a date. Then again it was just two people looking around the city so maybe it wasn't.

Kaie had heard there was a new transfer student incoming, but she hadn't seen him so far. Maybe he was goofing off, or maybe he was coming a day or so later than anticipated. But nope, he was there, just running a bit late. Kaie giggled, sitting cross-legged at her desk. She was a bit dissapointed that he was an ordinary human, but he was kinda cute. A bit of a joker, too. That was a plus around here, private schools always needed a little irreverence.
He'd forgotten his uniform, too. Kaie remembered she hadn't worn one the first week, it had taken a while for the school to custom make one for her size. That, and they'd had to bend the dress code for her a bit. Normally the girls wore skirts, but at her height she needed pants. Nobody had really objected to that, all things considered.
She was a bit surprised when he was seated in front of her. The titanic Titan smiled down at him, sticking out a finger for him to shake. "Me name's Kaie, Kaie Leary." She felt kinda like James Bond, saying it like that. "I been in town about a year, so sure! I can show ye around after school." This day was turning out pretty exciting so far. He seemed nervous, but a more social nervous, not "Oh god please don't squish me" nervous. That was an improvement on most people.
"The name's Bond, James Bond." Virgil voiced in a funny but somewhat accurate impression from the reference Kaie made. Virgil chuckled a bit after his little impression showing it was another joke.
Virgil then shook her finger and grinned. "Haha well actually it's Virgil Hawkins." As Virgil shook her finger a small spark of static jolted them. "Darn static electricity! That's what I get for running on the carpeted floor on the way here." Though it was really him discharging a small shock by mistake.
So after a boring and what seemed like a long session of Math class it finally let out for lunch. 'Ugh math, i hate math!' Virgil thought to himself. It wasn't that he wasn't good at it he just didn't like to do it. So as for Virgil's first lunch here in a private school he expected the food to be top notch but nope he was presented with a cafeteria. So Virgil got his tray and got a few snacks, some juice, and some pizza then paid for it at the counter. Once he took a bite however the food was more amazing then it let on to be. "High quality pizza huh? Now that's the stuff!" Everything was great but it did make him wonder what other good food they served here. Virgil was obviously chowing down on his lunch more than he thought he did and looked a bit like the a starving person eating for the first time in months. Though that wasn't true he was just loving the food a lot more because it was pizza, his favorite food, and it was really really good.
Kaie laughed at his little joke. "Ya know, I were thinkin' tha same thing." Even after a year in Jump City, she still had a strong Irish accent. That was hard to shake, mostly because she didn't want to shake it. She thought it was one of her endearing traits. Maybe even cute, if she was lucky. She jumped slightly at the shock, shaking her hand. It stung a bit, more than was usual for just a static shock. "I get shocks a lot. Gotta crawl through doors, this place ain't made for me size."
When lunchtime came, Kaie made sure to sit with Virgil. She pushed a few chairs aside, sitting cross-legged at the table and taking out her lunch bag. Ma hadn't had the time for anything fancy today, so she'd picked something up on the way in. It was times like these she was glad for those superhero subsidies. Kaie pulled out a pizza box, opening it up. Then another box. Then another. By the time she was done she had five pepperoni pizzas stacked on top of each other. She picked up the messy giant sandwich, taking a bite. "I usually get me own lunch, or have Ma make somethin'. She's a real good cook." Kaie took a swig from her drink, a water cooler jug.
"So what kinds of things does your mother make for you? Any cool desserts?" Virgil said with a smirk on his face.
After his question was answered the bell rang for class but then a sudden quake threw most of the students off balance. Most of the students looked at Kaie but it seemed she was thrown off balance too, then the students seemed worried that it wasn't Kaie doing that. "Crud what was that?!" The quakes started to get more powerful as one of the walls of the school was broken apart and in its place was a giant robot that looked like a snake with robotic arms and laser cannon for a tail. It seemed this thing was attacking the school but for what reason? "My name is Cyber Serpent and you will now surrender this facility to me for within this facility lies great knowledge that i can use for domination of this city!"
Oh great this doesn't seem good, Virgil had to change into static but could tell it was obvious that while all the students were running away Kaie was staying in place most likely to fight this thing off. Could Kaie keep Virgil's secret while the others ran away?! He was going to risk it for once. "Excuse me Mr. Tall, Mean and Ugly, in case you didn't realize this is a private school, but i'll let it slide for now and teach you some manners."
"Heh! You sure talk big for a measly worm! Prepare for your demise!"
Everyone had ran except for Virgil and Kaie which made it easier for his secret to stay put. Virgil lit up his hands with electricity as he took one of the tables and lifted it in the air then threw it at the snake man. "Sit down at your table students it's time for your first lesson." Virgil casually said as Cyber Serpent was taken by surprise as the table was rammed into him.
The snake man ripped up the table with it's clawed hands and began to charge at Virgil with them.
"Oh Crap!" Virgil said as he tried to run.

Kaie grinned broadly at his question. "Ever see Epic Meal Time?" Kaie was one of the only people in the world who could safely down one of those meals herself. She had the size and the appetite for it, and with how much muscle mass she had she needed the protein. Kaie's muscles were denser than a human's, after all.
She looked around when the quake hit, shrugging. Was that just a thing that happened on the West Coast sometimes? She'd seen movies. But no, this was too regular to be a real quake. Kaie rose to her feet, careful not to tip anything over. Something was coming, something she didn't know. She'd been told the school uniform was super tough to withstand her strength, now was the time to test it out. Kaie looked around, waiting for an attack.
Kaie was kind of relieved when the source of the problem turned out to be a robot. She wouldn't need to hold back like she would against a biological villain. If the robot was damaged, it could always be fixed. She was a bit surprised to see Virgil sticking around, though. "Ya sure ya wanna be here?" He was pretty busy talking trash to the snakebot. It seemed bravado until the table slammed into the robot. "Ya got powers too?" She didn't have too much time to be surprised before the robot tore through the table, charging him. He did a great job of drawing aggro, enough that Cyber Serpent didn't see the super-strong giant punt heading straight for him. There was a dull boom from the impact as it sent him flying.
When Kaie knocked the snakebot for a loop it gave Virgil enough time to escape to a nearby restroom. Once in the restroom as it appeared no one was there he then changed into his static costume and ran out. The snakebot was really damaged from that last attack as it at first struggled to get up. "Heh not bad girl! But can you withstand this?!" Cyber Serpent said as it charged up its laser cannon from its tail.
The laser cannon fired a large red beam at Kaie but just in time static lit up his hands with electricity and fired a stream of it at the beam thus colliding with it in a power struggle between the beams.
"Arrgh! This guy is tough!" Virgil then had an idea. "Hey captain overbite! Your shoes are untied!" Snakes had no feet for wearing shoes but the snakebot wasn't very smart and looked down only to see its tail. Static took this chance to power up his stream of electricity and shove the laser back at it! The snakebot clearly overwhelmed by it's own laser tried to defend but its arms were torn off from the blast.
"I'd say you just got disarmed!" Static said as he smirked at his own joke.
The snake bot was without its claws and its laser cannon needed to recharge! "I have to retreat! These two are too powerful!" The snake bot said as it tried to slither away.
Static looked to kaie and gave a nod as if answering her question. "You could say that yeah but it would be too long to explain. We need to make sure this guy doesn't escape!"
The Snakebot was heading to the hole in the wall it had made previously as it seemed overly weakened from their attacks.
She was kind of surprised that he bailed right after displaying his powers, but apparently he wanted to change really quick. Kaie wasn't sure of the logic of that, she was the only one there and she wasn't sure how well a partial mask and different outfit would disguise him from his fellow students, but she was busy keeping the snakebot busy. It wasn't too hard, it wasn't really the best robot she'd ever faced.
The snakebot charged its laser, and Kaie shielded her face with her arms. Her eyes were the only part of her she didn't trust to take a hit from a laser. She had thick skin, muscle, and bone. It would hurt, but she could recover well enough. Thankfully, she didn't need to. Virgil met the blast with his own, and Kaie stepped aside. She couldn't believe a robot with no feet actually fell for its distraction. Who programs a robot that can't wear shoes to check if its shoes are untied?
But believe it or not, she could still take advantage. Kaie's long steps easily caught up with the disarmed robot. She leaned down, grabbing its tail and picking it up, holding the thing completely off the ground. "Now don' go gettin any funny ideas." She waggled her finger at it, scolding the robot jokingly. For an ambush, that had gone really well.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
