During Gimmick’s needlessly long and boring presentation Kyd Wykkyd just busied himself with the popping of his gum. Or at least due to his short attention span Kyd thought Gimmick’s presentation long when in reality it was super short. In an attempt to lighten things up at the end when Gimmick asked if any of them had any questions the teleporter found his hand high in the air. “Yeah, I got one. When do we get paid?” Kyd asked with a laugh. It was a joke of course since his ingenious was likely wondering the same thing. Their portly, easily excitable employer alone knew the answer to that. Chuckling softly he high fived an unknown minion whom apparently found his little jest funny. Yep, he was definitely the Beast Boy of this group. No doubt Gimmick would find his mannerisms annoying in short order. And not surprisingly their employer was being all over dramatic again with the fake tears. Kyd just internally headdesked. ‘You have got to be kidding me,’ he thought. ‘Of all the bosses to get stuck with I had to get one who always had to make a big production out of everything!’
At last Control Freak started to dismiss the minions he no longer needed; which thankfully included him. Kyd let out a long, pained sigh to show his fellow villains just how bored he really was. “Oh how exciting! I can hardly wait for what you have planned big guy,” Kyd sarcastically muttered before leaving to get some much needed rest. “Until then, later!” Kyd said rather dismissively as he left along with the other unneeded villains.
The Next Day:
Kyd Wykkyd returned early the next day. If something good was going to happen he didn’t want to miss it nor did he want Control Freak to fire him for being late. He stood near the view screens, so he could watch all the action.
When Control Freak gave Gimmick the order Kyd wondered who the smart one was going to pick. Kyd himself didn’t have a preference, so much like his boss he didn’t care what happened so long as it was good and exciting. Kyd sipped obnoxiously on his coffee as he watched.
