With Barely a Breath

[Gaunt]

Kaie flushed at Vincent's comment. She thought he was talking about her being his mattress. That was pretty bold of him, suggesting that they sleep together on a regular basis. Kaie didn't know that Vincent thought it was perfectly innocent, those cross-cultural things were tough sometimes. Still, she didn't mind. That actually sounded kind of nice the more she thought of it. "Might have ta ask Ma about that. Could say it's good for the superhero stuff." She grinned, thinking of all the possibilities.

She turned a much brighter shade of red when Vincent turned over. He relaxed, burying his face in her stomach. The giantess let out a giggle when he let out a deep breath, it kind of tickled. Vincent had fallen silent, lying face-down across her. The giant angled her head a little upwards, trying to get a look at him. All she could really see were his legs dangling off the side. "Comfy down there?" she asked with a playful smile. Her blush started to subside a little, she was getting used to this. The whole close contact with Vincent thing was pretty sweet.

Once the whole concept of sleeping together was explained to Vincent, he would probably be even more embarrassed about it, but it was comfortable regardless of what anyone said. Asking for permission to do that did not really make any sense either. Then again, Vincent did not exactly have to ask for permission to do anything. He was mainly concerned with what was wrong and right. There was only so much he could learn at a time.

Vincent completely relaxed as he rested against Kaie's stomach. COming out to the beach was the best idea ever. Even if he was not in the water, this was definitely better. He would have fun learning how to swim eventually, but floating out here was up there on fun things to do.

Hearing Kaie's question, Vincent tried to answer when he realized his face was pressed against her. There was only some mumbling sounds as the sound was muffled by Kaie's skin. That was a different sensation.

"Of course I am. How about you?" Vincent said and asked her before resting his face against her again. All the concerns he had about this world and his powers just seemed to go away as he relaxed there.

[Gaunt]

Right then, Vincent seemed as relaxed as could be. Kaie was having a little bit of trouble being quite as chill as he was. A guy she'd been scoping out was making a lot of skin contact, and was face-down on her right then. It was reason enough to be a little nervous. Excited, but nervous. The giantess laid her head back on the water, trying to cool herself a bit. She didn't want to turn completely red with Vincent taking such a close look at her.

Kaie giggled again as Vincent mumbled something into her skin. She didn't know if he was goofing around or if that was a genuine brain fart, but it sure did tickle. She had gotten used to the regular breathing, but the talking was a little different. The magical boy lifted his head, and Kaie could understand him then. "Yeah, feelin great." Vincent really seemed to like lying on top of her. Kaie was REALLY trying not to think too hard about the implications of that.

Vincent set his face down on her again, and Kaie was finally starting to relax. This was really comfortable, with him there. Vincent was nice and warm, and it was nice to be near someone who wasn't afraid of being squished. "If ye wanna rearrange yerself, feel free." Vincent couldn't see it from his position, but Kaie had a wicked smile on her face. This date was going very well.

If Vincent had any inkling of the ideas going through Kaie's mind, he would have dove into the water even though he could not swim. Good thing he did not as he really enjoyed just laying there on her. It was almost as if they had agreed to meet up just to take another nap again. That's what it felt like to Vincent since he was starting to drift off somewhat. It was just way too comfortable like that.

Then Kaie said he could rearrange himself. What did she mean by that? Did she want him to be in a different position? Vincent had made sure to place himself so there was no really awkward contact between the two of them. Considering they were both in swim wear, that was something rather difficult to accomplish. And now she was saying he could move around? Vincent had no idea what he was supposed to do.

Vincent turned around and sat as he looked around with a confused look on his face. "What do you mean?" Vincent asked her as he looked over at her. He saw the smile on her face, but again he was at a loss of the situation.

It was always an interesting experience when Vincent turned over. It took all of Kaie's willpower not to crack up and sink them both with him wiggling around on her belly. Considering her track record, she was showing a remarkable amount of restraint. The giantess wasn't exactly renowned for her self-control.

She managed to get the most mischievous part of her expression stowed away by the time Vincent sat up. For the first time in a little bit, she got to see his face. He looked fairly dashing, sitting up there. Kaie wouldn't mind getting this view more often. "Oh, jus' sit or lie howe'er ye like." She smiled at him, feigning innocence. On the inside, she was a little confused. She had thought that getting a faceful of Kaie belly was a step towards bigger and better things. Was Vincent really just innocent and oblivious? He seemed utterly baffled by the whole situation.

Vincent blushed a bit as Kaie told him to pretty much do whatever he wanted. The entire situation was starting to dawn on Vincent's innocent mind. Maybe it was the corruption from the dark energy inside of him, or it was just male hormones, but that flush returned to Vincent's face as a few ideas bounced around his mind. This whole situation was almost too much for Vincent's mind to handle.

"Um.... okay...," Vincent said as he looked her up then looked to the other side of her. From this angle, Kaie had very long legs. Of coure she did since she was a giant, but still. Kaie had told him to do as he wished. But could he really?

Vincent moved up higher on Kaie's stomach and felt that flush start to burn on his face. But it was all too much for Vincent to handle, and he suddenly jumped off of Kaie into the water. The water was cold against all the flush he had, and Vincent relaxed down there. He could not swim, but Vincent was just glad to not be in that awkward situation again. However, he did begin to sink down. He had his eyes closed, so he did not even realize what was happening.

[Gaunt]

A blush spread across Vincent's face, and Kaie gave him a smile. It looked like he was starting to get her intentions. He seemed to be melting again. Not exactly ideal, but it was kind of adorable. Kaie could practically see all the thoughts ricocheting around in his head.

Once again, Vincent started looking her over. Kaie was perfectly relaxed, lying spread-eagled on the water. She was surprisingly buoyant for her mass, but couldn't move around too much floating like this. She didn't want to rock the boat and tip Vincent over the side. After a bit of thought, the magical boy started moving up. She smiled, blushing slightly. This was really getting exciting. Ma would kill them if she found out about this, but that made it even better.

And then things went off the rails. Vincent's face got a little too red, and he abruptly went into the water. "Vincent!" Kaie seemed to remember that he couldn't swim. Kaie turned over, feeling carefully around for him in the water. He was sinking pretty fast. Kaie scooped him up, standing up in the water. They had floated out a little farther, the water was waist deep on her by now. She cradled Vincent, looking down at him with a concerned expression. "Are ye aright? Ya gave me a scare there!"

Even though it was rather bright outside, Vincent could barely see anything underwater when he opened his eyes. He then finally remembered that he could not swim. He was just full of brilliant ideas today. How could he not have realized what it meant to be like that on Kaie with the way they were dressed? He should have talked to someone about this whole business with Kaie. There was so much Vincent needed to pick up on that he was scolding himself mentally for not doing so. Even though he was seeing all the new stuff out there, it would be easier if there was someone to tell him all about. Someone that was not a giant girl in a bright blue bikini...

Next thing Vincent knew a giant hand came into the water and scooped him out and he was pressed up against Kaie's chest. This whole situation was the reason Vincent had dived into the deep waters to begin with, and yet there he was up against her chest regardless of his attempts to avoid it. His body was still cool from the waters, but it quickly warmed up as he flushed a bit.

"Yeah... Um... I'm okay...," Vincent managed to get out with a nervous grin as he looked up at her. There was no way to get around the fact that her chest was right there against all of him. He was going to have to figure out a way to deal with all of this if he wanted to spend more time with her. Maybe if she was normal sized it would not be such a big deal...

"Sorry about that... I just... yeah.... I don't know...," he continued to say as he pressed his hand against her arm. The contact calmed him down a bit, but he had no idea what to tell her to explain his sudden dive.

[Gaunt]

Vincent had been frighteningly cold when she pulled him out of the water. Kaie's body heat, among other things, were warming him up pretty quickly though. Vincent was lighting up like an all-red Christmas tree. Okay, bad analogy. The point was that he was blushing bright, in an adorably nervous way.

"I were worried about you. What ye do that for?" Kaie said with a frown. Vincent had given her quite a scare, diving like that. She couldn't figure out quite why. Was the situation getting too hot for him? She could see why he might need to cool off, but it wasn't exactly a good idea. The giantess started walking towards land. If he was getting too tense, she could set him down.

Vincent didn't seem to be able to words right then. He just sputtered for a minute before quieting down, putting a hand on her arm. The contact was nice. It was hardly the only contact right then, but it was kind of sweet. Kaie smiled down at him. "Don' worry bout it, I'm jes glad yer alright." She arrived at the water's edge, setting him down on the sand. "Wanna go in the water more, or should we stick ta land fer now?"

"I... well.... I don't know..."

Vincent could not tell her why he had jumped into the water like that. It was too embarrassing for him to admit that willingly putting himself against her chest was not something he could have done at the moment. Not like it mattered anymore.

"Land please," Vincent said sheepishly as he turned so he could look at the shore. Anything to get her chest out of his face even though he could clearly feel it against his body. Vincent did wonder how many guys wished they could be in this position, and here he was not sure whether he should remain in it or jump out. Well, he was not going to jump into the water now since Kaie was holding him. The thought was still there.

At least on the land Vincent could just relax on the beach and not actually be on Kaie. No fear of drowning either. Yep. Land was the best option for them.

[Gaunt]

Vincent still didn't seem to be sure what had happened. Kaie was just taking this as more evidence that his brain had melted. She was kind of flattered, she'd never provoked that sort of response before. Normally Kaie inspired boring old fear, not hotness-related meltdowns.

It wasn't until Vincent looked away from her that Kaie realized how close to her chest he was. Her face flushed, trying not to think too much about it. Poor Vincent was probably melting down even more now. And he was being such a gentleman about it, too. Not getting pervy or anything. More evidence that he was a sweetie, the giant couldn't help but smile.

"Land it is!" She set him down on the sand, smiling down at him. He seemed to be calming down a lot once he was no longer pressed against her chest. "Anything ye wanna do, or just relax?" As far as Kaie went, she was okay with anything. Vincent looked damn good in that swimsuit, and she just wanted to hang around with him some more.

Vincent calmed down once his feet touched the warm sand, and he stretched out. That had been a very tense situation the two of them had been, especially for Vincent. He now knew why so many people came to the beach even if it was not for the same reason Vincent did. It was a way to see things one would normally not be able to and get away with it. Although it was more extreme for Vincent since he was experiencing it all with a giantess.

"We can just relax," Vincent said as he finished stretching. They had spent quite some time out on the water. Down the beach Vincent could see lots of people now. It was almost like looking down at mob about to jump into the ocean. There was still quite a bit of empty beach between them and the rest of the people, so they were relatively alone. Vincent was not sure why people had stayed away from their area. It was not like they were in a private area or anything like that.

He remembered that Kaie had brought a towel and stuff when she had first arrived while he had only arrived in his swimming trunks. That could easily be remedied. A snap of his fingers and a towel materialized next to Kaie's. It was considerably larger since it was for Vincent's side. Stretching one last time, Vincent laid down on his back and closed his eyes as he began to relax.

[Gaunt]

It was Kaie's turn to get a little flustered when Vincent stretched out. He was an attractive guy, and stretching like that really put it on display. She thought back to when she'd first arrived. She'd stretched out like that too. Was that what had gotten him so flustered? It could explain why he'd sprinted into the water, maybe he was hiding something. Kaie blushed a little more at the thought.

"Yeah, relaxin sounds good." Kaie said as soon as she remembered how to speak. The giantess walked alongside Vincent back to their camp, making sure not to go too fast for him. Her giant strides could get ahead of people sometimes. They got back to her towel, and Kaie looked on as Vincent worked more of his magic. "That will never not be cool." She said with a grin as a towel materialized for him.

Vincent made himself comfortable, and Kaie started going through her bag. She pulled out a few huge family-size bottles of suntan lotion and squeezed some out into her palm. Slowly but surely, she started putting on the lotion. "Ye want any?" she offered, looking down at Vincent.

Vincent grinned at Kaie complimenting his magic. Kaie seemed to always be impressed with any of his magic. VIncent would have something to impress her with if he ever needed to do so. He also had that shield of hers that he was sure she would absolutely love. Not only would it be the perfect size for her, it would allow Kaie access to some of his magic. Nothing would be able to break through her defense.

Vincent tilted his head out of confusion as Kaie pulled out some rather large bottles and some lotion like substance came out of them. He could not read so it was not obvious that it said sunscreen on those bottles. When Kaie then proceeded to rub the lotion onto her body, Vincent was confused even more. Why was she doing that?

"What is that stuff?" Vincent asked her. The idea of sunscreen was completely foreign to him. It was not something they had back in his world.

[Gaunt]

Vincent was staring as she started to apply the lotion, but it wasn't for the reason she expected. He seemed curious. It dawned on her that he was from some sort of old medieval place. He didn't know anything about tanning and sunscreen or whatever. This might have even been his first beach.

"It's sunscreen. Keeps ye from gettin sunburned, can help ya tan too. Want some?" She put some more in her hand before handing him the bottle. Kaie was going to go through a lot of it, but there would still be enough for the both of them. She'd deliberately planned for this. The idea of helping Vincent apply it had crossed her mind.

Kaie kept rubbing on the lotion, taking her time to tease Vincent a bit. As she did, she got a wonderful, awful idea. "Say Vincent, I kinda have trouble gettin me back sometimes. Wanna help?" Maybe not the best idea after his previous meltdowns, but Kaie wasn't thinking this through too much.
