"Sunscreen...," Vincent repeated the word as he took the bottle from her and looked it over. Again the words on the bottle made no sense to him, but he still examined it. He sniffed the opening of the bottle and made a weird face. That was a new scent, and Vincent was not sure whether it was good or bad. It was definitely odd.
Vincent looked up from the bottle when Kaie asked if he wanted to help. It took him a few moments to process the question. Kaie was putting lotion on her body. She wanted to put lotion on her back but could not reach. So that meant Vincent would have to put the lotion on her. That also meant Vincent would be putting his hands all over her back. That all too familiar flush lightly returned to his face before Vincent found himself nodding to help her.
"Uh... sure...," Vincent said as he stood up and took the bottle with him. "How exactly do I do this?" he asked her, having no idea what he was about to get himself into.
The giant barely held back a laugh as Vincent investigated the sunscreen. She wished she had had her camera out, that face he made was just too great. "Yeah, the smell can take some gettin used to. Thas why you put on a little." She kept on applying it herself, getting all the spots in easy reach.
Vincent agreed and Kaie gave him a grin, lying on her belly on top of the towel. She propped herself up on her arms, looking back at Vincent. "Is no too hard. I already got most of it, you just gotta get my back. It's bloody hard to reach on my own, and I don't wanna get my back. Just rub a little on there, enough to give me a layer back there."
Kaie shifted slightly from side to side, settling herself. This was gonna be pretty awesome. Vincent was an amateur, but hey, it was Vincent. Kaie liked flustering him. As a matter of fact, Kaie liked Vincent in general. "After this I could help you get your back maybe." she said with a wink.
Kaie seemed to be enjoying this more than Vincent was since he was mainly doing this to help her out. He had no idea that Kaie was having those thoughts or else he would have exploded. "Sounds easy enough to me," he said as he put some of the lotion on his hands while she settled herself.
Vincent looked at her and could not help but stare for a few seconds before snapping out of it. He floated up and landed gently on her back. Taking in a slow and deep breath, Vincent placed his hands on her back and started rubbing the lotion onto her back. The simple task was oddly exhilirating for him. Before the only contact had been her hand or resting on her, so this was a huge change. It took him a few minutes, but Vincent managed to put an even layer on every part of her exposed back. Vincent did slow down the lower his hands went, but he managed to put lotion everywhere on her back.
That flush was still there by the time Vincent floated off of her and landed on the sand. There was some lotion left over on his hands so he ended up just rubbing it onto his arms.
"I guess it's your turn now?" Vincent said as he looked up at her. Figuring he needed to do the same, Vincent laid down on his towel.
Kaie watched him float up, admiring his magic skills. Flying was still the most awesome thing ever, it was official. Vincent landed on her back, and Kaie settled down. She laid out fully on the towel, resting her head on her arms.Vincent couldn't see from his angle, but she had the biggest, perviest smile on her face.
Kaie let out a contented sigh as Vincent went about his business. He was pretty thorough, making his way down her back. He seemed to slow down, taking his time more as he got lower. She wondered if he was getting interested in things back there. "You know, yer pretty good for doin this for the first time." Her face flushed a little more when she realized the implications of what she'd said.
After a few minutes, it was Vincent's turn. Kaie stood up, stretching out again. The giantess picked up a bottle of lotion, squirting some into her hand. "So, ye want me ta just do th' back, or should I do everythin?" She was really hoping he picked the latter.
AS long as things were not too complicated, Vincent could pick them up easy enough. Putting on sunscreen was very simple compared to learning what a computer was. In fact, he still was not even sure how to use one of those. Working the television was as far as he had gotten when it came to technology.
"Thanks," Vincent said. He had almost said something about how soft her body was, but he remembered her reaction from the last time he had said that. So he kept that little tid bit to himself. He knew the sunscreen was just for a health concern, but Vincent had enjoyed that more than he should have. All this time that feeling he had was starting to change, and Vincent had no idea what it was turning into. Everything he had done with Kaie was a new experience.
"You know more about this stuff so I'll leave that up to you," Vincent told her. He really had no idea where he was supposed to put sunscreen on. So he figured Kaie would know best.
Kaie took her time getting the lotion onto her hands, looking over Vincent. He was in great shape, and the swimsuit showed it off well. Even if he just left her the back, Kaie was going to enjoy this. She had a bit of a perverted streak, and this was her first time actually indulging it with a real person. The giantess was about as excited as it got.
Kaie's face lit up when Vincent said he'd let her do it all. This was going to be pretty great. "Aright, stand up and I can get started." Once Vincent was on his feet, Kaie set to work. She started with his arms. Her hands were big, covering a lot of ground. She had to take her time to make sure it wasn't over too quickly.
As Kaie started working on his upper body, a stroke of genius hit her. "Next time, I'll let ye put all mine on." she said with a wink.
Vincent thought he needed to be laying down so he was a bit confused when she told him to stand up. Then again if she was going to do everything, it would make sense for him to be standing. Vincent trusted her since she obviously knew what she was doing. There was much she knew about this world that he did not. What Vincent should have known were the thoughts going through Kaie's head.
The awkward sensation from before was nothing compared to what Vincent started to feel when Kaie began putting the lotion on his arms. He had put some on there, but apparently he had not put on enough. Her putting on the lotion felt very different than when he did it anyways.
A blush immediately began to form once she started putting lotion on his upper body. Her hands were bigger, but her skin was still soft. Vincent would have been able to handle it had Kaie not made that comment. The blush immediately deepened, and it was rather obvious compared against his white hair.
"Uh....," Vincent managed to get out as he looked up at her. Put the lotion on all of her? That was a lot of... skin. Yeah. Skin. And that was about all that Vincent could do as he simply stood there a deep red.

By the time Kaie realized how awkward she had made things, it was too late. Vincent turned a bright shade of red, and seemed unable to speak. Not entirely a bad sign, at least she knew he was interested, he probably wouldn't be melting like that if he wasn't.
Reluctantly, Kaie moved away from Vincent's torso and worked her way down his legs. He was pretty nice all over. Kaie was reminded of her animated heartthrobs. Vincent was athletic, but not overly muscled. Kind of a perfect balance for her. She finished up, straightening up. "All done!" Kaie gave him a thumbs up, hoping to break the awkwardness.
The giant lay down face-down on her towel, gesturing towards Vincent's. "Get comfy, we got all day if we want." She stretched out, getting nice and comfortable. Yep, definitely a good day.
There was nothing Vincent could say as Kaie rubbed lotion over the rest of his body. His mind was just going through so many ideas about Kaie now after the last thing she had said. The blush continued to burn on his face, which kind of made him wonder if the sun lotion was actually going to work. But the lotion was to protect against the sun burning. It would do nothing for naturally heating from awkward thoughts.
Vincent was too out of it to really blush even more when she started working on his legs. If he reacted anymore, Vincent would have literally melted in her hands. In a sense, Vincent was melting in her hands so it all worked out. He could only nod when Kaie gave him the thumbs up, and he took in a deep breath to try and calm himself down.
"Yeah...," he said as he moved over to his towel and sat down. He looked out over the waters for a while as Kaie told him to get comfortable. Vincent understood what he was starting to feel for Kaie, but the question was if feeling such a way was a good thing for him. He planned on finding his way back home eventually, and that would mean having to leave everything in this world. There was no telling if he would be able to come back. Of course he had no idea if he could even find his way home, but just in case is why he had kept himself from really forming any relations.
This was just too much thinking for Vincent. Instead of laying down like he should have, he just sat there and continued to stare out at the ocean.
Vincent responded well. It looked like his brain was melting, and a few times Kaie was worried that things were going to get extra awkward. There was such a thing as getting too responsive, after all. Luckily, Vincent kept it to awkward blushing and forgetting to breathe. Not a perfect scenario, but not all too bad.
After they were done, Vincent still seemed a little tense. He sat down, staring out at the ocean. From the look of things, he was lost in thought. Or trying to calm down. Kaie wasn't good at judging these things. Besides, Vincent was very mysterious. He was a time-displaced wizard, that came with the territory. Kaie liked the whole mysterious stuff.
After a while, curiosity got the better of her. Kaie turned on her side so she could face Vincent, giving him a concerned look. "Are ye alright?" Kaie reached out a hand, resting it on Vincent's shoulder.
Vincent was lost in his thoughts for quite a while until Kaie reached out and place his hand on his shoulder. The contact brought him back to reality, and Vincent shuddered slightly as he breathed in. Breathing was good. Kaie's contact was better. And that is what was making Vincent think way too much.
"I don't know...," Vincent said before he turned his head to look at Kaie. If he had not been in a thinking mode, Vincent would have surely blushed from the angle Kaie was laying down. He looked at her for a split second before his eyes came up to hers.
Without even thinking Vincent brought his hand across and put it on hers as he took in another deep breath. "Remember how I told you I don't really see the others?" Vincent asked her as he turned to look out over the waters. "I was doing that because I was planning on leaving once I figured out how to go home. It'd be easier to leave if I had no connections with anybody, ya know? But then we met... and I don't know what I want to do now..."
Vincent had practically just confessed that he had feelings for her, but that was exactly what he was concerned about.
A smile crossed Kaie's face as he looked over. It took him a moment to make eye contact, and Kaie noticed. Vincent was still getting used to bikinis, but he at least knew where to look. Vincent was a teenage boy, after all. His eyes were bound to be drawn certain ways.
Her frown came back when Vincent started talking. He was dropping some heavy stuff on her. "Yeah?" Then the smith started to explain his isolation, and the talk got even heavier. She hadn't thought about the implications of the whole time displacement thing. All his friends, family, everything left behind when he was whisked away into this world. Kaie didn't have the same issue. She hadn't had many friends back in Dublin, and she could still contact them pretty easily.
Kaie sat up, her hand still on Vincent's shoulder. He'd dropped a lot on her, not the least of which was the revelation that he had some serious feelings for her. "Vincent..." Kaie trailed off, not sure of what to say. She hadn't really had to talk feelings before. Kaie wasn't great with words to begin with, and this was a lot to take in. After a minute's deliberation, Kaie thought she knew what to do. The giant picked him up, pulling him into a sitting hug. "It's okay, Vincent. Yer a smart guy, you'll figure it out." She didn't want to think about Vincent leaving, but Kaie wanted him to be happy.
The worst part about Vincent missing his family and everyone he knew there was the fact they were no longer alive and he did not know it. The moment he remembered would be a horrible moment to experience. Fortunately, Vincent did not have access to those memories, and forming all these new memories with Kaie was helping delay that.
Before Vincent realized what was happening, Kaie picked him up and hugged him yet again. He had experienced her hugs enough and after all that contact he did not end up blushing like crazy. There was a slight flush, but Vincent did not just freeze up and melt mentally again. In fact, Vincent pressed his face against her and breathed in deeply. He could not hug her back since she was too big for that, so this was the best he could do.
"Thank you, Kaie," Vincent said softly. The hug seemed to last for quite a long time, and he was content with just staying like that for now. It was not like anyone was going to interrupt them, and he was relaxed against her. Those few moments had made the decision Vincent was not sure to make even if he had not realized it yet.
Vincent had looked so sad, how could Kaie not hug him? The giant wasn't great with words, but hugs she could do. It was one of her strongest interpersonal skills. She was one of the few people capable of hugging all the Titans at once, and when focused on one person her hugging skills were unparalleled.
He was a lot more relaxed this time. The magical boy wasn't freezing up or freaking out. Instead, he rested his head against her chest. Kaie was blushing pretty hard at this. She didn't know if Vincent understood the implications of putting his head there, but she let him go ahead. Vincent needed some comforting, and that seemed to comfort him quite a bit.
The hug lingered for a while. Kaie liked the contact, and she wasn't too keen on ending it. It was a few minutes before she let him down.
Vincent was aware of where his face was pressed against, but he did not care at the moment. He needed the hug and really enjoyed the contact with Kaie. Those minutes in the hug were just some of the best ever of Vincent's life. He would never forget this day for sure.
But everything eventually had to end, and Kaie did end up releasing her hold on him. However, science was going to get the best of Vincent once again. Kaie had let go of him, but Vincent was still pressed against her. The giantess would probably think that Vincent was using his magic to just float there, but it was far from the truth.
"Uh... Kaie... I think I'm stuck...," Vincent said as he opened his eyes and got a face full of Kaie's chest. There was a slight blush now, but there was nothing he could do about it. It seemed recently put on sunscreen was a rather powerful glue. At least in the amounts Kaie had to put on her body.

The roleplay takes place after the series end of the original Teen Titans animated show, but does not include the movie Trouble in Tokyo. Since then Robin has been on something of a recruiting spree, and many new young heroes have found themselves a home in Jump City as well as Titan Tower.
